I'll be returning these after receiving them today and wearing them for only a half hour around the house. The width around the toes is too narrow. I've never had to buy wide shoes before so I bought these in D Medium width instead of EE wide as the only other option. I think it they didn't have the steel toe, the fit would have been a little tight, but ok.
It seems based on the outside shape of the toe that they just took the exact same shape of the soft toe version and put a steel insert inside the same space, taking space from the toes, not widening the outside.
Normally I'd wear shoes for a while to see if they start to feel better, but these boots are pressing against the outside of my little toes, and the outside edge of my foot by the toes. I can tell the boots will reshape my foot by bending my little toe in rather than breaking in.
Other than that, they seem ok. Good flex in the middle, hard bottom rubber for ladders and other rough surfaces, nice leather.

Whatever size shoe you wear, you'll probably have to go a size up. Every shoe I've ordered from this site hasn't fit, and these are no exception.

Way too tight, even when ordering the same size as other Timberland Pro's. Had to return.

My friend really love these boots. He states that they are very comfortable They have lots of support. He recommends these boots for any man that is on his feet all day

Buy these if you want to wear heavy, old tech, no padding, easy scuff boots. When I first picked one up, I was amazed at how heavy they are, even compared with other boots. When I put them on, I was amazed at how hard the sole felt, and I quickly discovered that it's because the insole is just a bad joke. When I wrote them around the house for just a few minutes, I was amazed that scuff marks just appeared on the leather, seemingly out of nowhere. Yes, these boots are amazing, but in all the wrong ways. I returned them.

After 2 weeks still trying to get the boots broke in. They just do not fit like the other Pit Boss boots I had in the past. The boot I had last was the model #26 which was one of the best I have owned for the money but was discontinued. Not sure why but if made again, would buy them.

Likes these boots at first but that changed quickly. My right boot has a larger seem in the back and it rubs the back of my heel raw. I thought it just needed to be broken in but it never wore the boot in just tore up my heel. The leather on the steel toe portion of the boot also wears and gets torn up very easily (pretty much destroyed). Because of this I no longer wear the boots. Wish they would fix these problems the insoles are very comfortable, boot has good grip and feet arent fatigued at the end of a 12 hour shift (other than my heel).

Use the boots for light work when safety is required. This was the 2nd pair in about 3 years and found this pair to be very stiff and uncomfortable to walk in unlike the first pair. After about a year of light work, only wear the boots a few times per year, the soles began to separate toe and heal. I then realized why the boots were so stiff. The stitching was for looks....as there was no stitching from the boot to the sole....only glue. Going to look around for a reliable boot with no deception as to the construction.

The 4th loop from the bottom is not very conducive to pulling the bottom lace tight. Would have been better off to have put another eyelet hole like the others in the location. I replace that piece with a hook and they lace tight. Otherwise a excellent boot.

These boots simply do not hold up. Have been wearing them for 2 months and the sole is separating, stitching's are coming out, and leather is wearing out.

This is a good work boot for its price, but I don't foresee them holding up in the field for very long. I've owned these boots for only a month and the souls are starting to creak. I imagine they will be separating pretty soon. Also, these boots are borderline dangerous to walk in snowy conditions. The way the tread on the should is designed, there is very little tread to keep the boot from sliding sideways on packed snow. They will lose lateral grip unpredictably, so much that I will be replacing them soon for this reason. One other aspect I do not like is the leather is too soft not very durable. Too many issues popping up within a month of owning these boots. I will not even bother contacting the Timberland. Maybe I got a fluke set but I'm not willing to find out again.
Summary: This is a good "stylish" boot, but I can't recommend them for professional use.

I like everything about this boot except for the fact it is not waterproof. I do grounds keeping, and even just walking through grass in the morning, my socks will be wet. Now that winter is here, it will probably be even worse. I purchased these as an indoor/outdoor work boot, and was disappointed that they are not keeping the most minimal of water out. If you don't plan on getting wet, then these boots are great!! Very comfortable(after break in) and the soles haven't started separating yet, which I've heard other people mention. Great boot besides lack of waterproofing

This is my second pair of Timberland safety shoes with the same problem. They have cheap footbeds. After a week my feet hurt. I have to spend money on new footbeds. Never buy Timberland unless you have to.

My husband has worn the same boot with a shorter shaft and they were the most comfortable work boots he has ever worn. I'm not sure how I ordered the wrong pair( or if) but when these came in, he decided to wear them. What a mistake! His feet are hurting worse than they did when he was wearing his very worn out pair. I'm not sure if the quality has changed or if maybe they are a bad fit. Don't know if we'll buy timberland again. This was his 5th pair.

I used these for 2 days and they got awful stains. Used leather boot polish and they got ruined. Very dissatisfied. Would love a refund or a replacement pair for around the house

The first pair that I had of these were amazing and lasted quite a long time. The second pair caused all sorts of foot, knee and hip pain. A good pair of Superfeet orthotics fixed the problem. I will not purchase a third pair.

Size 12 too small and narrow. Size 13 seem to be too big. After wearing boots for a couple of weeks the back of my heels throb in pain. Problem did not show up until I used them at work going up and down a ramp.

The comfort was terrible. The rivets tore into my skin around my leg and ankle in 3 different places. It does not seem to be a good design. The first day that i wore them, I could only use them for two hours. I had two blood stained socks where there were rivets. One on my left leg just above the left side of my ankle, and two on my right leg which were just above the right side of my ankle and one lower on the left side of my right ankle. I tried to wear these a couple days later with tape around my legs and ankles and it did not help much. I need to return these.

Boots were purchased 1/26/25, the foam ankle pad is horrible, painful above the ankles were it supposed to aid in support and comfort, I'm on my feet 12 hrs a day 6 days a week, these boots do nothing but cause pain and bruising above ankles were it makes contact with body, been a timberland user for a very long time and it seems Q/Q is going out the door, seems fashion is becoming more important over the working aspect. Bottom line terrible, uncomfortable and stuck with a product I cant use do to misplacement of receipt.
