The look of these are nice but oh boy are there a lot of dislikes. These boots are much heavier and stiffer then the brown Tim’s. Felt like razor blades in my ankles, I tried tying tighter and looser. They just don’t give and being on my feet for 10hrs shifts won’t do. Pass the black ones up and go for the brown ones. I didn’t have any issues with those, just don’t tie them tighter.

I really wanted to like the shoe and it works for a lot of people but for me it's just doesn't work no matter how much I try I had to return these shoes they just weren't comfortable at all and they just would not fit right on my feet I'm used to being barefoot a lot so my toes are a little bit more spread out in the shoes just don't like that.

Nice boots but they are definitely not slip resistant. I'm a truck driver and have slipped and fallen twice already with these boots. Once while walking on ice in a parking lot and a second time inside a store on a wet floor.

just very uncomfortable! I was into the idea of being tall and did not mind the heavy but the ankles rubbing every step is what gets to me most.

My feet felt like they were being crushed all day long. These are hardly meant for walking, or standing, or anything. The heat, fatigue and abuse to each foot was nothing short of misery.

Everything is fantastic about these non water proof boots except for the width. I'm absolutely not happy with the claim of being 9W but not in reality not a good wide fit just totally narrow no if ands buts about it. In my opinion it's half inch - 2 inch small depending on type of socks worn. Normally I wear and use mid weight work socks but I've recently tried dress socks as thin as I can buy but no use because the boot doesn't have any give in stretch Opinion 2 ) Go half size to maybe avoid pinching and just repeatedly hits to sides I switched from wolverine due too there lack of durability and there so called waterproof boots / shoes sizing is terrible as well now timberland size issues ughh 2 stars just based on width painful fit Everything else about them is fine

After wearing Timberlands for almost 30 years and never having an issue, these are the most uncomfortable boots I have ever worn. I will be returning them and shopping for a new brand

Super uncomfortable boots probably the worst I’ve gotten in a while and I use to get boots at Walmart that where much better.

I'm not sure what it is about these specific shoes, but every time I wore them my ankles would hurt terribly.

they look really great and they are EXTREMELY STURDY. But unfortunately, THAT IS THE PROBLEM. The collar around the top of the boot is OBNOXIOUSLY tight around the area above the ankle and will literally wear a HOLE into your crew socks and constantly rub up against the area above your ankle. I worked a 4 hour shift in a distribution center wearing these and felt like i was going to get a blister from the friction of constantly having the texture of the sock grating against my skin. the tighter i tied them, the worse it was. but i also loosened them and it was still terribly uncomfortable. there was just no winning with this super puffy collar. i think the fact that it was wearing away at my socks and my skin are a testament to the quality of protection these boots have to offer, but you're going to have to use some sort of DIY solution like conditioning the material with oil or wearing two pairs of socks to remedy the issue - maybe I just need to break them in, but 4 hours of constant movement didn't do the job for me! So if you're looking for something hassle free right out of the box that you can just slip on and be good to go with, I'd recommend going with something else. I probably should have chosen something else but I already have quite a variety of safety shoes and wanted to get something different. these boots are also pretty heavy. changing out of them into, say, those reebok safety shoes - will make you feel like you were wearing cinderblocks. if you are used to wearing smaller & lighter shoes, you need to be careful working a job where safety is a huge concern - you may not feel like you are a clumsy person but I daresay that these boots will challenge that notion and inadvertently end up putting you through a pretty rigorous set of calf raises haha. All that aside, I have nothing bad to say about them and they are a spectacular product - they fit my feet well, arch support is sufficient, the safety cap covers all of my toes, I don't feel a thing when I kick something and they just look great.

These boots are not recommended for any who has sore feet. It feels like your walking on concrete barefoot. I will never buy these again. I just wasted all this money.

I work outdoor construction, I first bought a pair of these in 2006, great boots that held up for more than 4 years. I recently got back into the construction buisness and bought another pair, This new pair didn't last 6 months before stitching on side of boot near heel blew out and the first layer of the sole began to separate from the boot. 10+ years ago I swore by these boots, but quality and quality control have certainly gone down hill, I had to try on at least 5 different pairs at the store and all had different flaws to the them until I was able to find a right boot in one pair and left in another that did have flaws.

I work in the concrete trade, the sole is made of 2 parts. I typically climb scaffolding leading with my left foot. The sole splits from the bottom of the boot. I was able to cut the bottom sole off but now there is no traction. Would not recommend if you rely on your boots for safety and make money.

I work in automotive wrecking and I figured these would work just fine, I was wrong. In the first week got a huge gash in the side which pretty much made them not water resistant at all and there's very little support. I bought them in November of 2020 and they are pretty much falling apart. I've had pairs of Vans that have held up to more abuse.

I have been wearing the Timberland Pro Pit Boss boots for years with no issues. The last 2 pairs just did not hold up. The soles failed prematurely and the Timberland warranty personnel denied my claims both times stating "normal wear and tear" even though though they're less than one year old.

I had high hope for this boot after reading many glowing reviews. However, I am sorely disappointed. They are not comfortable at all. The toe box feels so narrow and crushed my toes in. Normally I do not get a wide size, but maybe that would help here. The insole feels non-existent and SQUEAKS so loudly. If I didn't already wear them and get them dirty, I would for sure be returning these.

Eyelets broke immediately on purchase, others bent. Reinforced leather prevents tight lacing. Hasn't leaked yet, and tight lacing does a good job of keeping water out. Tendency to fully crease after well-broken-in, risking injury to toes because of steel toe edge.
