I WAS WRONG ABOUT THE FOOTBEDS IN THE EARLY MODELS - Last year I bought a pair of these boots and wrote a review about how hard the foot beds were. I said they were too hard and a boot that was this expensive needed a softer liner. The rigid liner in last year’s model was excellent when it came to keeping the boot from rolling over. I have a bad ankle and I wear most boots out early because of this weakness. I got more than twice the normal wear out of those early models so I reordered two pair this time. They are more comfortable but I doubt they will last as long as the 1sts. If you go back to building them the way you used to I'll reorder two more pairs. Sorry for taking you on that ride, I fooled myself right out of the best pair of boots I’ve had in my life. Michael.

A Great Investment - Now this is one exceptional boot! It looks great, and feels, even better. At first, I was reluctant to buy it, as I hadn't worn steel toe in a long time. However, the look was too hard to resist. And too, I had a little money in my pocket and decided what the hell. Just kidding, but I am glad I purchased it and will wear it every chance I get. I just got it a little over a week ago and have already worn it three times. That said, it was a great investment, and I hope to be back really soon. Thanks Zappos, for keeping me satisfied!

Great boot! I ordered this boot for my boyfriend's birthday and he loves them. He said they are very comfortable. He even wore them the first day touring the Cherry Blossoms in DC and said they were even comfortable walking shoes!

Good shoe - The shoe looks good, very comfortable, and works!!! I am contractor in Iraq, Movement Control Specialist, back & forth on all types of aircrafts. I need a safe, good looking & reliable boot...I am completely satisfied...

Best work boots I've owned - These are the best work boots I've ever had. I work 10 and 12 hours on my feet all day and have never had tired feet with these wraped around them.

Timberland Pro - So far seems like a great boot. I got the wide and it felt like it was broke in from the store. One of the best looking boots I have ever owned. At this point I would definitely buy this boot again. The price was better than most other brands I looked at.

Best work boot on the market. Timberland has always been a name I could trust. This boot took a couple days to break-in, but now it's one of the most comfortable boots I've ever worn. I really like the speed laces too. One thing I'd like to mention, I received this order from Zappos in only five days, they paid the postage. Thanks Zappos for the outstanding service.

One comfortable boot...! I've had one pair of this boots for over a year and they hug the foot like no other. Suffice to say I'm getting another pair for casual wear in black. The last pair has see snow, rain, grease, and road rash. Still a lot of life left in them but not as presentable anymore. They still stand to whatever task you throw at them!

Great boot - Love these boots. I wear a size 16 so finding any type of shoe or boot is challenging. These Timberlands never let me down.

Perfect boots- These boots are great... I have had these for a few weeks and love them. Feet feel like new even after a long day at work. Great room in the toes too. Second day on the job, they saved my foot as a fork lift drove up the back of my foot... Tennis shoes would have crushed but these held up.

Good Work Boot - I work long and hard on my feet on a daily basis. These boots felt true to size and were extremely comfortable. In Wisconsin we frequently "enjoy" cold weather, I didn't have a problem with cold feet in these bad boys. Plus, Zappos shipping was amazing.

Great boots! I bought the boots for my boyfriend for his birthday. He works in construction and he has a pair for work, but I love the way they look on him. I bought him a "nice" pair that he can't wear to work!

I would like for you to thank her for me. She was great! Keep in mind these boots were so important to me because this make/model of boot is the first comfortable pair I've had in a long time. You'll love this workboot - You cannot find a better, stronger boot for the money. These are comfortable even after eight hours on your feet.

Everything as I had hoped.... I ordered these boots for my son who would be working as an electrician's helper for the summer before going off to college. The boots came sooner than expected because Zappos upgraded the shipping method without any additional charges. Thank you Zappos! He loves the boots because they fit well, they have already protected his foot from a heavy object that was accidentally dropped and the boots have that "classic construction worker" appearance. Our expectations were fully met...

If the shoe fits wear it - I just purchased my Timberlands for the first time from Zappos shoes and must say in all honesty that these are the most comfortable work shoes I have worn to work in thirty years. These Timberlands are cushioned to make walking on cement floors all day very protective for the feet. I definitely will buy my next pair from Zappos. I would advise all mechanics and construction workers to try these shoes. I certainly stand behind the Timberland work boot 100 percent. Thank you Zappos Timberland for quality.

Great buy! My husband loves them. He, as a typical man, doesn't care about how clothing would look on him but he makes a compliment of the look of this one. Very comfortable overall but there's one thing keeps hurting his right foot, a little lace hole or something, I told him to return it but he said see if it's breaking in. He likes the shoe very much and doesn't want to return it! Well constructed with very good quality materials, a little heavy but believe that it serves the purpose of the safety shoes. Finally, Zappos service is excellent.

Great boots - These a very comfortable straight out of the box and they look great. It looks like these boots will provide a long service life.

My husband loves them! I ordered these boots for my husband who does a lot of walking in his job. He loves them, they didn't take long to break in like the other Timberlands he was buying and with the steel toe, the toe space is wider and he hasn't had any pain on the top of his foot. I was worried that the steel toe would weigh down his foot since he walks so much but he said it doesn't.
