Great Boot! This boot is comfortable and good looking. The support is excellent and the light weight of the boot makes even a steel toed boot easy to wear. As always, the Zappos amazingly quick shipping will keep me coming back!

This boot is exactly what we were looking for. The size was right. It has the features required for the construction work done. The last pair lasted much longer than anticipated which is why we looked so hard to find the same one when replacement was needed.

Great Boots - This is the 2nd pair of these boots I've purchased for my husband. He is on his feet most of the day and he absolutely loves these boots.

Tough boots - These are the toughest boots I've owned. Just ordered my third pair. The tough leather makes them a little tough on the feet at first but once they are broke in you will have no problems spending long hard days in these boots. I am a pipefitter and have tried Redwings, Doc's, cat and what ever else and nothing is as tough as these. Both previous pairs the sole started coming apart on around a year of service but these boots see it all. Water, acid, alkali, heat, cold, oil, grinding the toe in to the concrete. I will keep buying these as long as they make'em. More comfortable then my tennis shoes. Stand on concrete all day long with no aches and pains. ONE TOUGH BOOT

Quality plus Price Equals SATISFATION - My girlfriend bought me a pair Pit Boss Steel Toes a couple of years ago because I work in Manufacturing and Construction, and usually spend 10- 12hrs a day on my feet. I have wide feet, I still wear those shoes now because of their comfort and durability. The price isn't bad either. My only suggestion is to smooth out the 4th eyelet, so they don't cut the strings (like one of the other reviewers mentioned).

Good Boots - the boots look great. They are a little large not quite a size but probably half a size larger. They are very stiff in the ankles. The ankle support rubs ankle. It took a couple days to loosen up, great boots but don't plan on buying and wearing all the time right away. Need to wear them in for a couple days before you wear them all the time.

Great boot for working - These are some of the most comfortable and durable boots I have ever owned.

Pit Boss Steel Toe - I bought the shoes for my husband. I looked at a lot of shoes until I came to these. I read the feedback on all the shoes I looked at. The feedback on these said they were about one half size smaller, so I ordered him a larger size. He said they were perfect in fit and width and felt very comfortable all day.

The only Timberland's I will buy - I love this boot. I have owned other Pro Series boots by Timberland. And the Pit Boss is the best for comfort and most of all for support. I'm on my feet all day and I drive for a living and these boots are perfect.

Very Durable - This will be my third pair. I like the style comfort and durability. I am replacing a pair that I have had for 4 years. If you are tired of buying a pair of boots every 1 to 2 years then get these you will be glad you did.

Wow... I used to work in a restaurant. Near a Modell's, of all places - in a mini-mall. These were bought on a whim, and they turned out to be one of the best purchases in a boot I ever made. They're fantastic. The pair I'm about to replace is over three years old, and taken one helluva beating. Frankly, considering how easy Zappos makes it, I'd say it's more than worth the break-in time.

Shoe fits great. This boot is durable. Great waterproofing and strong steel toe.

Pit Boss Steel Toe Review - The only issue I have with these boots is the ankle comfort. It took two days to break them in, and the ankle can get sore. Works better with a heavy sock. Otherwise, very comfortable boot, good look, light weight enough and great support. I have found the black does mar the floors, so need to be careful when inside a building. After eight to ten hours, my feet still feel good. Boot is sized small (needed to order a half size bigger), but the Zappos return process was wonderful.

First-time buyer - I bought these boots because I climb in and out of a delivery truck 60 or more times in a day and was looking for support and comfort. These boots fit the bill and I am extremely pleased with them. The only comment I have is perhaps they are a little too roomy in the upper portion of the boot near the ankle support.

Long lasting great boot! A great, great boot. I've owned two pairs of them. Have worn each for more than a year each. The most comfortable steel toe boot I have ever worn. My job requires me on me feet for 12 hour days at times and I never have any foot aches with these boots.

These boots are very comfortable. Although, the higher sides bothered my husband at work, it made his ankles swollen.

Rugged use in Montana - I have sent 2 pair of these boots to my nephew in Montana who works out of doors year 'round. He tells me he loves them so I presume they are 5 stars all around.

Haven't found anything better... ...for a work boot for my son, an auto technician. Clunky looking, and he adds a gel insole for more comfort on hard concrete floors, but they do the job, and last a year, worn 8-12 hours a day, 6 days a week - and sometimes more. So far, this is his favorite birthday gift!

Zappos 5***** Service! My husband loves these boots - they are perfect for him for work! They were shipped so fast and how can you beat that - I don't need to go to the mall anymore!!!

In Excess - I am re-ordering to replace my first pair I bought from Zappos in 2004. I spend 12-14 hours every day on my feet and my old boots are starting to let me down. After in excess of 5000 hours, I think they have earned a "trainee" and I know that after the break in period my new boots will treat me just as well as the last pair.

Best boot ever - These boots are the best I've ever bought, and very nice looking too. I will purchase another pair in the near future. I wear a 12D and these boots fit perfect, not tight or loose. And Zappos had them to my front door day after I ordered them. You can't beat their service.

Christmas gift - I bought the shoes for my brother, who just happens to be a very large man... I figured these shoes would be good for him because he does security work. He loves these boots. He says they fit well, and are very comfortable. Thank you Zappos for quick delivery and the convenience of your website.

Work Boot - Overall very nice and comfortable. Holds up well under work conditions and looks nice also.

The best work boot period! If you want everything in a boot, this is it! I'm a local P&D rig driver so I needed comfort and I needed a sole that would stand up to my work. Just pressing the clutch hurt my foot, but not with these. The boot does all the work, not my feet. It's got steel toe protection that actually feels internally comfortable. Quality, comfort, look & price. I recommend it completely. Don't waste money on Red Wing's etc... these boots are of the same caliber. If I could, I would buy 40 pairs before they ever discontinue them. I love them!
