What a great shoe! Fit perfectly right away. I ordered the same size I normally wear. Warm, comfortable and stylish. Wish I had 5 pair.

Timberland Pro Direct Attach 8" Steel Toe Boot - Zappos and Timberland both advise buying the boot to fit your regular boot size. I found I needed a whole size larger to accommodate the steel toe. Steel toes don't break in - they break your foot in so you had better make sure they fit comfortably from the start.

For my experience these boots ran about a half size small, but are the most comfortable work boot I have ever worn. From the first day to now, they are like wearing slippers to work, but with all the protection of a dependable work boot. Timberland Pro's are a no brainer, buy them now!

I purchased these boots 3 weeks ago from Zappos. I was looking for a steel toe, waterproof boot to replace my Rocky boots I've had for 14 years (those boots are no longer in production which is why I switched to Timberland). On average, I wear these boots between 14 - 16 hours a day. The break in period for these boots was about 1 day (which was very surprising). I've worn the boots in snow and mud so far and I'm extremely pleased with their warmth and waterproofing. They also provide great traction and most importantly, they are extremely comfortable! I'm very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend these boots to others.

Great boot, the steel toes make for a little tightness in the toe box, compared to the pair of Timberlands these replaced. Those boots lasted 13 years. I am hoping for a similar lifespan here. Have worn out the snow and the thinsulate works great. A great sturdy boot.

I have a problem finding my size whenever I need work shoes. Zappo\'s always seems to have just what I want in stock and I get my order in a few days. The price is less than I see the same shoes in the local stores. It is so easy to shop on line without the hassel of special orders or waiting on line. The product is always just what I wanted ind fits correctly. I don\'t buy shoes in the stores anymore.

PRO'S Direct Steel Toe - The comfort and looks are the best I have found in years of looking and trying other brand work boots.

Timberland Pro never disappoints - This footwear does everything you could ask for. Comfortable and durable under all the conditions it has been subjected to so far. I can recommend it without hesitation. I am looking forward to Timberland's Earthwalkers coming into the same price range.

Xtreme boot - I work in every type of extreme weather conditions, from floods to blizzards and ice. Not to mention areas that requires maximum protection from my foot gear. These boots offer me the best protection, stability and water-proofing I've found to date. The guarantee they come with says it all...love 'em!

I'm a dedicated Hobo International fan. This is my third purchase, and it's lovely. Room for (ahem) all of my cards and a beautiful, classic design. Warning about the magnets: don't put a transportation pass or anything else that can be demagnetized in the big outer pocket with the clasp (where you might fit a cell phone or something else if you use it as a clutch). It WILL demagnetize it. Everything's safe on the inside pockets, however.

Great boots - I have been purchasing this same boot for 6 years. This might sound silly, but when they are new, there is so much support, you can literally sprint with these things and you are the quickest guy wearing steel toes! I swear by them and if they ever go out of production, I go out of production. They will last a solid year of serious abuse, way longer if you take care of them. Perfect 10. Thanks Timberland. I'm here to buy my 5th or 6th pair today.

These boots all around were what my husband was looking for in comfort and durability. He really likes them and will order them again.

Work boots – I have tried a lot of work boots in my line of work and to take a pair of boots right out of the box and put them on and go to work and have them be so comfortable and easy on your feet is really nice. I swear by these boots. I have been doing shipping receiving for 25 years.

Boots for working - I run a large resort in FL -- mow, line-trim, edge, etc., daily. Best boots I've found for constant walking/working.

Very Pleased- I work in a Quarry and have been wearing the boots for 3 weeks. They have broken in nicely and it was almost effortless. First time I have owned a pair of these. I will see how they fare over the next year. At this time, I highly recommend these boots.

The perfect fit - I am extremely happy with the boots I have received. They are comfortable enough to actually hike in. Though it is a work shoe, it has become a part of my everyday apparel. I also feel comfortable running in them as they are more comfortable than my combat boots issued to me while in the service. Satisfaction level on a scale from 1 to 10, I give them a 14!

Great Construction Worker Boot! So comfortable! Put it on and it felt like it was already broken in. The best boot since my old Red Wings from 10 years ago. Wish it came with a Vibram sole and no steel toe, but otherwise perfect.I am in Construction Demolition and it seems to be taking the beating fantastically!!!!

An excellent quality boot. I prefer 8" boots, and I am required to wear steel toe for work, and once I saw a Timberland in this style, I had to buy it. They resemble combat boots I wore in the Marine Corps which is what drew me to them, but they are great against cold weather, and yes, they are very comfortable. On the tongue it is marked "waterproof" and yes, they are waterproof. I am a garbage man and they withstand the trials and tribulation of such work, the waterproof of which I find a must have. You will not regret this as a purchase.

Top notch boots - I started wearing these boots immediately, did not even have to break them in. It was easy to try them on and wear them right away.

My purchase - The Timberland Pro's I purchased are worth the price. They are not as comfortable as I would like them to be, but they serve their purpose. They seem to be able to stand up to the wear and I will put on them. The only improvement I would make is to make the soles with a little more cushion. Overall I am satisfied.

8" Timberland Pro ST - Very nice look but these boots are too narrow, even in wide size. I suppose that it's because of the steel toe. Not as comfortable than 6" soft toe.

Very comfortable, though something in the right heel was rubbing my heel to the point that I wanted to return them. But seeing that I'm in Iraq it’s too much of a hassle to return things. I inserted a piece of foam and no problems since…EXCELLENT work boot (I already need a new pair 84 hours a week x 9 months)
