I have other pairs of this shoe but this one was just too wide, too bad, I love them.

1 out of 4 straps on each shoe is too long. I need to return them. I paid full price for defective shoes. Wheres the quality control. I should have bought them in the store instead of online.

I bought a new pair recently. The black ones I have from last year are great. I got a new color this year and the straps are WAY TOO WIDE. They are a lot looser than the ones I have from last year that I wear everyday. I sent them back for an exchange. I hope I do not have the same problem when I get the new ones. If so, I will not be keeping.

I used to love these flip flops. They were incredibly durable, comfortable, and looked pretty good to boot. After a couple of years, I decided to get a new pair because I'd worn an impression of my foot deep into the sole. I was excited that Teva still made the same sandal. Or so I thought. The new pair, which I purchased in the summer of 2009, has straps that are at least half an inch longer than previous models, and, consequently, they slip off my feet and create blisters. Friends who've recently purchased this model have the same complaint. I realize there are a lot of people with wide feet out there, but they pretty much dominate the market. If you won't return to original sizing, you should, at the very least, offer the original sizing (perhaps marked as narrow) on your website. Otherwise I have to say goodbye to my favorite flip flops forever.

I got these for Christmas, so I haven't really been able to wear them until now. Thy are so cute but unfortunately the straps are way too tight - I literally have to force them on, and they dig into the top of my foot. I can't return them because they were purchased so long ago. Maybe with time they will stretch out a bit? But I don't know if I want to try.

The top strap is uncomfortable on both feet, and rubbed the area on the top of my feet raw.

Very flimsy. Returned.

The sole of the shoe is fine, but those straps are sooooo uncomfortable. I only wore them twice and now they are collecting dust :(

Bc the sole is rather stiff when you walk the strap would cut off/punch feeling to my 2nd toe. Will stick to mush....

The foot strap is too close to the footbed-there is no room for your foot.If you can even get your foot in the sandal all the way, it squeezes down like a vice grip with every step. Unlike their foam based footbeds of other flip flop styles-this footbed does not give at all. These are the worst TEVA flip flop I've ever tried. Been wearing TEVA flip flops and Hurricane XLT2's for many years. Skip this one until they upgrade the strap to allow for the height of a real foot/. First time I've ever returned a pair of TEVA anything.

I have worn a variety of styles of Teva sandals for 20+ years- love them for hiking, kayaking, biking, beach, pool, everyday use. Not this one. These flip flops are super light, supportive and easy to wear. Unfortunately they gave me blisters on the tops of both feet- so disappointed that I will not be able to wear them. Any suggestions on how to remedy are appreciated. I cannot wear them, feel I wasted money.

I have consistently purchased the black Olowahu flip flop since it came out. Once I wear one out I already have a spare. I have been trying to wear the pair purchased last year for a few weeks and something is changed. I can't stand them. The straps are tight and fit way different than years past. I have noticed many similar reviews, why the change? Super bummed and disappointed.

I have purchases this sandal 4 times over the years. It has always been my go to sandal. This last time I could barely get it on my foot. Ordered the exact size and style I always order. The right one was much worse than the left. I have been wearing them and trying to stretch them out but they are still miserable to wear. Not sure if I got a bad pair or if you changed your manufacturing process. Very disappointed. Will not be purchasing these ever again.

This is my third pair of this style and size flip flop from your company, the first two pair fit perfectly. The straps on this pair are so tight that they are painful to wear.

One flip flop fit fine but the left one, I couldn't get my foot in it.

I have worn these sandals for years and your current ones have been resized!? They no longer fit my foot and I have had to return them. I am heartbroken. I can only assume you are using a different manufacturer.

It would appear that Teva is running small. I have a pair that I've literally run holes into from wearing them for so long. Teva's sizing isn't consistent with US measurements any longer. I ended up giving all 3 pair to a family member because they wear a smaller size shoe than I do. I have order 1 size large than this order and the shoe was shoes were sloppy and too big. Inconsistent fit makes it hard to order Teva. I ordered 3 docent colors and all 3 colors for different. I could only get my for into 1 pair successfully. Yet my original pair of Teva sandals were a perfect fit day one. My second pair were slightly bigger. But I've not had success with finding another proper fitting sandal since.

These shoes are very uncomfortable and not up to Teva standards. I need to send back.

10 fits like an 8.5! I wear a 9.5 so I ordered the 10s because they didn't come in half sizes. These strangled my baby toes. I had two friends who wear 9s try them on (one has high arches). Didn't fit them either. I ended up giving these to my sister who wears a 8.5! My sister and one of my size 9 friends all know their Teva size, and these should have been too big. But no. They destroyed everyone's smallest toe! Booo! This was my first time ordering from Teva. I'll pass.

I'm normally a 9.5. My arch, instep, and width are all average. Yet the straps on these sandals are trying to rip my little toe off. My sister normally wears a size 8 and these fit her.

I've been wearing and buying this sandal for around 25 years and this year it no longer works for me. Nothing has changed on my end. My experience: Teva made the side toe strap wider so that it sags and no longer supports. It looks terrible hanging there...Also, there is a funny "bump" on the sole of the sandal under the big toe which was never there before but now can be felt and no longer feels smooth as I walk. Im so disappointed ...its true to size in every other way. I bought two pairs and both are identically changed in design and no longer works for me.

They looked nice but they were too narrow and the material the straps are made of are coarse. I thought they'd saw my feet up if I walked in them. The length was correct but too narrow and rough. So now I know your wife is maybe a D width and I need E or EE or adjustable.
