I have purchased many pairs of Ugg Coquette Slippers, both for myself and for gifts. They would always last for a year or so before the fur got thin. Now the fur on the heel is worn out and completely gone in spots after just a couple of months of evening use. Why do manufacturers that have a popular product, that everyone loves, gradually cut down on the quality until it isn't the same product at all, but the price keeps going up. I won't order Ugg slippers again unless they bring back the quality because these are not worth the cost. I am sad because they are very comfortable slippers. :(

I am very unhappy with this product. My wife has had them for less then a year (11 months) and the inside heel on both slippers is worn out. For this price, less then one year for the item to be worn out like this is not acceptable. I would clearly not recommend this product.

I've had the Ugg CozyII for a few years and wore them constantly in NJ. I finally treated myself to these Coquettes. Since I now live in FL, I only wear them maybe 2 months out of the whole year. Within one year of wearing the Coquettes, a lot of the sheepskin wore completely out leaving a hard base. I would buy the CozyII before the Coquettes. For the price, the Coquettes should last much longer.

Sadly, I was hugely disappointed in my black Coquette slippers. Initially, while exceptionally comfortable, they turned my feet purple with every single wear. Eventually, after about a year (mind you, they were not worn during warmer months, so May through September), that stopped. But not because the dye was finally done bleeding, oh no. Because the fleece started to fall off the plastic-foam insoles. Now I have fleeceless, expensive Ugg slippers, which pretty much defeats the purpose.

My original UGG slippers finally had to be retired. I planned for new thick, fluffy, fleecy Ugg slippers for a long time. When they arrived the fleece inside the slipper was thin--almost like the end of a carded fleece. I expected to have the fleece thick enough to form to my foot but here was barely any fleece on the foot bed. So sad.

I've ordered these same slippers about 4 times in size 9 and they have fit perfectly. This new pair arrived, saying size 9 but they are about 2 sizes to big! Has Ugg changed their sizing?

My daughter and I finally got UGG slippers! What a disappointment. Both mine and hers, owned less than a month and the inside is worn down at the heels. These are a let down. Von Mauer replaced my first pair, but said they would not replace again. I have owned allot cheaper slippers that have maintained the furry inside for years!

I wear these around the house and within 2 weeks the wool started to wear away under the heel until it was bare. For the price I thought the quality was AWFUL. However, UGG customer service was GREAT and I sent them back and they sent me a new pair free of charge. However, I believe the same thing will happen to the replacement pair. I was very disappointed as this was my first pair and I had hoped to purchase more but not with such poor quality. They are very warm and very comfy!

Overpriced and overrated. The wool wore off the inside at the ball and arch of foot in only a couple of months. I would have expected this product to last much longer for the amount of money it cost.

They look great and feel great, but they really do stain your feet black! Even after wearing them for three weeks several hours a day. Seems to be getting worse and worse. And it doesn't come off with just washing with soap and water. I have to scrub them with a sandpaper pedi stone to get the black. So I called up Zappos and a new pair of Bomber Jacket Chestnut is on the way of course with free shipping! They truly are great and very apologetic. And I don't have to ship the black ones back since I have had them for 3 weeks and wore them. I will be donating them. I would not purchase unless you want your feet stained black.

After only 1 year of infrequent wear, the inside sole of the slipper has no fur left. All that's left underneath is a plasticky textured sole. I contacted the company about repairing, or replacing and they informed me that I could purchase their insoles and have them permanently stitched in by a cobbler myself, that this has worked for other customers...so clearly this is a problem with all of them. Not worth the money if you ask me which is sad because I really love my Ugg boots and was expecting the same quality for the price.

I bought these Coquette slippers after reading fabulous reviews and recommendations. I wear slippers a lot and felt the expense of the UGGS would be an investment rather than an annual purchase. How wrong was I? I read another review on this page and found the same thing happened to me. Within months of buying the Coquette slippers the fur had completely gone from the heal area. The fur continued to wear away. Inside the slipper the only place fur remains is above the toe area and instep. What a waste of money. Back to buying cheap slippers annually. I contacted UGG directly and got no response. I will never buy this brand again.

Several years ago I got my first pair of Coquette slippers. They are chocolate brown with a very cool paisley print on them. I say 'are' as I still wear them, even though the insole is very worn. This past December I got another pair of Coquettes in Chestnut as a gift (made in Vietnam). What happened??? From the first wearing, they are not the same. I've had them only about a month and already the insole is wearing down. They are not as cushy and if I hold them up to my old chocolate slippers, it is evident that there is less cuff and thinner insole. First thought is, "Are they counterfeit?" Slippers and box have the tags that match what this website indicates, so I don't think so. Half the time I step into my old ones as they don't feel like cardboard... I currently own Sundance, 2 pair of Joplins, Ultimate Tall, Brooks Tall, and my paisley Coquettes. I am a long time UGG lover, but what has happened to the UGG I have known and loved? Disappointed is an understatement...

I purchased these slippers for the first time a few years ago. For the cost and sheepskin and UGGS, I expect them to be the last or close to last pair of slippers I ever had to buy but not so. After the first year, mine, like many other reviewers, began losing the lining at the heel. Kudos to Zappos customer service - even after 11 months (seems to be an average length for the wear down) they were replaced with no questions. Same thing happened to the second pair, but really and not a reflection of Zappos, so I decided to live with it. I have now managed to wear out the the big toe area on the right slipper and have a growing hole in it and here I am - looking for a new pair. I have read quite a bit of comments from all over the internet and the consensus seems to be that Uggs are not made with the quality material they used to be. I am not sure I am going to chance it again.

I bought these as a Christmas gift for my wife to replace a 3 year old pair of the same slipper. The 3 YO pair has all the fur under the heel worn away. This new pair is less than one month old and already the fur under the heel is worn down to the backing. I intend to submit a warranty claim, but I am suspicious that any replaement will have the same issue. I am disappointed in UGG quality.

I gave these slippers to my daughter less than two weeks ago (12 days) and she really likes the style and size. BUT, the footbed where her heel is has completely lost its sheepskin. It's worn off. This is not the quality I expected from UGG, nor the quality I have experienced with my other UGG footwear. The footbed is not removable nor replaceable on this model. This bare spot is so bad that I'm going to contact UGG or Zappos customer service because with less than 2 weeks of wear, this is terrible.

I received my fifth pair of Uggs for Christmas. Up to this point, I loved them. For some reason, this current pair does not measure up to my previous ones. The sole does not appear to be made of the same material and the fabric on the heel is already showing signs of wear - even though it has only been a few weeks since I received them. My biggest complaint is the fit. These Uggs simply fit differently. There is no arch - they are completely flat. I prefer a bit of an arch, as in my previous Uggs. wonder if the fit and the materials have been modified. I will not be putting Ugg Coquettes on my Christmas list again.

I love the slippers themselves but when I had just paid over $40 for a pedicure and then went home and had my slippers on for awhile....they ruined my pedicure. Not because my nails were wet but because they made my feet completely BLACK. It was not easy to scrub it off either. I have had them for over a week now and it is still making my feet black. You would think the fur would be dyed and washed but I guess not. Unfortunately, I think I will have to return them.

I am not sure what is going on with the manufacturing of UGGS but it is not the same quality. This is my 4th pair and last two have been so poorly made. I have a new pair that I purchased less than 2 months ago and they are already breaking down. Such a disappointment that the quality has been severly compromised and is no longer the same as before....

I have owned Coquette Uggs for years and have loved them and each pair has lasted about 2 years. My disappointment has been with my most recent pair that wore out in under a year. The fur under the heal wore off with in months. I don't know whether I will invest in another pair this Christmas and take a chance. It's a lot of money to spend if they go bald in a few months.

I bought a pair in 2008. I only wear them half of the year. By 2009 all of the fur was rubbed off the soles. I contact Ugg and they replaced them. One year later, same thing. I contacted Ugg again, "too bad." Quite a lot of money for a pair of slippers. Total waste of money. I will never buy Uhhs again. They are comfortable and cute but useless with all of the fur rubbed off. I bought an insert at a local store and had to glue it down to stay in place. Next time, I am buying Acorn.

I am on my second pair. I fell in love with the first pair and wore them on a daily basis. I replaced them last year and almost immediately the lining on the footbed in the heal area disappeared. I complained to Zappos and they replaced them. Precisely the same thing happened with the replacement pair which I got stuck with. In addition, prior to this I had purchased two pairs as gifts. Those also shed their lining immediately. I have purchased my last Ugg anything. Considering the degradation of product quality, they are tremendously overpriced. Do not waste your money on a brand no longer worthy of the premium price.

I have owned a number of pairs of UGG coquettes over the last few years. The last 2 (1 of them being a replacement for a defective pair) did not meet the same quality standards I expect for the price. The sheepskin fur on on the feet - especially at the heel and toe area - wears away within 2 months! ThMy first pair of UGG coquettes from years ago are still in better shape than the replacement pair I received in May 2012. What has happened to the quality? I am very disappointed. We have owned several pairs of UGGS in our home. Children and adults. I have also given these slippers to all of my extended family as gifts. I have never had a problem like this. I do hope that he quality assurance team addresses this issue. I see a number of reviews with people having the same problem. Please make them like you used to!
