Feet did turn black the first couple of times I wore them. It is difficult to walk in them. There is not a lot of support. I only wear them to and from my yoga studio.

Black Feet!!
I've had other colors of this slipper (blue and tan) and adore them. I finally got black and after one day of wearing them bare footedly, I removed my feet and they were black from the dyes used.
I know now to wear socks with these black ones.
I'd also recommend:

I am a self labeled slipper fanatic. I love slippers, and I am still hunting for the "perfect" pair. I bought these in hopes of satisfying my quest, but I was so utterly disappointed when I tried them on...

Cute but not durable!
I owned several pair of Clugettes before these new slippers came out and they always lasted at least 6 months with almost constant wear. My new Coquettes were worn out in less than 2 months...the lining actually wore down to nothing in about 6 weeks.
No more Coquettes for me, even though they're quite cute.

In the past your products have been very good. These slippers were wearing significantly on the console within 2 months. They are way too much money for that to have happened.

The quality on the Coquette is honestly unacceptable and almost laughable if it was not so offensive.
UGG is clearly skimping on the fur in the exact spots that matter most. The toe and heel areas are noticeably thinner, while the arch has plenty of lining where your foot barely applies pressure. That is backwards and feels beyond cheap.
A chunk of fur even came out the very first time I tried them on. Brand new.
These are not meant to be cheap slippers, so there is no excuse for premature wear or shedding right out of the box. If you are expecting the thick, plush durability UGG used to be known for, you will be thoroughly and continually disappointed. For a company of this size and with the reputation it has, cutting corners on materials is truly unacceptable.
I would rather pay for true **quality** than keep replacing pairs that wear out this fast. Not to mention, have we tried to verify this is real fur? I'm not really believing that anymore either. I wonder what % of the fur is actually real. Now I'm questioning everything about this company.
Be ware, I think they're turning into scam artists.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! These are not the quality I remember whatsoever!! They are not sturdy, they are lopsided and floppy, the fur lining is so minimal not comfy, and thr stitching is not matching, the logo tag is way lower on the one side than the other shoe, I can't believe how bad the quality has gone down, such a bummer!! Would not buy again, even on clearance.

I am a long time UGG Slipper purchaser.I purchased the Black Coquette, and after each time I wore them I would need to wash my feet to get the black dye off of my skin. I stopped wearing them because the dye transfer persisted.
I reached you to UGG warranty and their reply was to wipe the inside of the slipper with a wet towel to try and remove some of the dye, put Baby Powder on in insoles each time I wore them, or wear socks. This to me feels like a lot of work for a Brand new pair of slippers. UGG also advertises their products can be worn without slippers to conform to your foot.
So ... Buyer Beware. You can get the dark colored UGGS, but the dye will stain your skin and you have to deal with it each and every time you wear your UGGS. Ands UGG does NOT consider this a issue.

I have been ordering these over the years, but for the first time, the quality has been lowered. Not sure if it's the sole or the build. Customer service is bad, and the loyalty program is now a farce. Sad state of affairs.

Im extremely unsatisfied with the quality that I used to buy for many many years and now it doesn’t feel like real Sterling it’s just polyester or acrylic quality in inside and outside. It’s not feeling of the way it feels like synthetic

Yes, I have been purchasing them for many many years. I was to my big surprise this year. I ordered them in different colors and everything got to me too big disappointment the quality it doesn’t feel like true real Shirling anymore. It’s even feels like acrylic polyester this particular model I ordered size 7 for my size 10 they outside. Sweet tend to get easier dirty than the previous quality for many years and a back part of slippers tend to slip to the side, which makes them uncomfortable to wear.

The quality of the UGG Coquette has diminished. While the look of the slipper is the same, the comfort is gone. The sole is different, making it uncomfortable to wear. Today's version is no longer manufactured like ones I previously owned (4 pairs). Unfortunately, I was disappointed and promptly returned them.

I've been buying this same exact slipper for the last 15 years. I started in high school. I just got a new pair for my birthday yesterday and am shocked at how uncomfortable these have gotten. The slippers are little more narrow and the soles of my feet were killing after an hour of wearing. I'm so confused. I compared my older ones vs. the new one and the soles of the shoes are definitely a different material & there is less fur lining. Anyways, super bummed. Returning. May try a size up but may not waste my time. I guess if I hadn't been buying this same model for so long, I'd never know the difference. Would have just thought it was an overpriced, uncomfortable slipper. FYI, I rarely leave negative reviews but feel UGG should own some accountability over the change in product & know how unwearable these really are.

Avoid these slippers. I bought them for my daughter and within four months of indoor wear, the lining has separated and Zappos won’t take any responsibility or provide any remedy for a defective product that they sold.

I only wear these shoes in the house. They have not held up at all. They are cute and very comfortable but paying 120.00 for some slippers that don't even last one season is ridiculous.

These ripped within one of week of just wearing them inside. Idk if I happened to get a bad pair or what. I've never had uggs do this before I'm so upset!!!

I am a lifelong customer and purchased these slippers. They fell apart in a few weeks and Ugg said I could return them for warranty (up to one year). I followed the instructions exactly and even though I included all of the information that showed they were purchased less than five months ago, Ugg mailed them back to me saying they were out of the one year warranty. Not only did they rip me off with the defective slippers, but they then wasted an additional $20 for me sending in the warranty and then falsely rejecting it, which people on line claim happens to them as well. Unacceptable way to treat a loyal customer.
