I bought these as a birthday gift to myself...well after 4 or 6 months later the fur on the heel started to wear down rapidly..now the fur is gone ..not very happy with the price they r and made in China....the reason I got them in the first place was for the fur...UGGS get with it ...a lot of reviews all say the same complaint fur rubs off...do not waste your money. :(

I received these as a Christmas gift. After three months of just wearing them in the evening, the fur on the heels and toe area was completely gone. For the price of these slippers, they should last more than half a season. They will not be wearable next year. Despite the comfort, I will be trying another brand next year. Poor quality, Ugg!

I have had the same problem as many other reviewers with the shearling wearing away at the heel. I bought mine last spring and gave them light use until this winter. After knee surgery in February I wore them every day for 6 weeks and by the end of that time the right heel was worn right through. I assumed it was the way I was walking but after reading the other reviews I am not sure I want to buy Uggs slippers again.

So disappointed! I had finally worn out my first pair of these after several years and decide to get a new pair. Quality is not the same. Not only do they weigh less than the old pair, but the fur is different too. After not even two weeks the fur in the left shoe at the heel has completely worn away. What? Not what I expect from Uggs after only 2 weeks of wear! I'll be returning them.

I loved the immediate comfort these slippers gave me. Every time I enter the house I slip out of my outside shoes and into these. I am not sure if it's because I wear these every single day or what, but the fur on the bottoms has given out all too quickly (in my opinion). I really wish for having spent this much on a pair of house shoes, they would have lasted longer but perhaps I just expected too much? For my Ugg boots I buy the replacement insoles, which I am fine with. I just don't think those would look or feel quite right on these slippers. I feel bad saying it but, now that I am looking to replace these, I am not looking at Uggs. I love the comfort but for the price, I just can't do it again. I honestly think I would rather buy a less expensive pair and replace them a little more often if needed.

The pair of sand color Coquette I bought seven years ago was starting to "ugly-up" so I thought I'd buy a pair in the leather bomber color as a new replacement. What a mistake! While the sole and upper part of this new slipper appears to be just as attractive and sturdy as my first pair, UGG decided to cheapen the most important part... the inside *fur* lining. Instead of the comfortable, thick, plush faux sheepskin lining and trim as in my original pair, this new pair is made with some type of slippery acrylic fiber that most closely resembles the puffy fake snow often used in Christmas decorations. It is incredibly thin, coarse, causes foot slippage, and has completely broken down in just four brief wearings. It's a good thing I still have my beloved first pair of Coquettes, and only wish I had kept the box so this new pair could be returned.

I love Uggs Couguette and have purchased no less than 6 pairs over the years. I know to order one size down and they are perfect. They are expensive and never seem to go on sale, so when I saw the black color on sale when I visited the Zappos website, I immediately ordered them. As always, they arrived promptly and I tried them on and found them to fit perfectly and be the comfort I have come to expect. However, a couple of hours later when I took them off, I was disappointed to see that the black dye had begun to rub off on my feet - not OK. So, I am returning these, but only because of the color. I would give them 5 stars, but beware of any colors where they have dyed the shearling something besides its natural color - stick with the natural colors.

I wore these in the rain one time, after I waterproofed them with Ugg waterproofer and they are ruined. They look horrible! I'm so disappointed!

I love these slippers except for one major problem. After wearing the slippers, not excessively, for about one month the fur on the inside heels have worn away, and are now down to the lining material. To Zappos' credit they sent me another pair to exchange with the ones I have. However, the pair that I received was not the same as the first pair. The replacement pair is smaller in size than the first one (even though they are labeled the same size as the first pair), and the slippers felt much lighter. Zappos thought that this exchanged pair might have been a previously returned item that might not have been authentic Ugg slippers, and somehow got caught in their inventory. Again to Zappos' credit they sent me another pair, however it was the same issue. So my conclusion is that some have greater quality issues. This is not the type of quality I would expect from Uggs, especially at a such a high price. So now I have slippers, although comfortable, have no padding in the heels. Something Uggs and Zappos should address and make good to customers.

The heels on the footbed are wearing out within two weeks! I am not a happy camper considering the cost of these. They are comfortable, but do not last.

Unfortunately, these did not work for me. super wide, constantly falling off my feet, the sole is stiff and flat. I am exchanging for the Ugg Rylan or the Ugg Ansley. Thanks to Zappos for being completely awesome with free return shipping. Also, they arrived within 24 hours of placing the order.

I am a ten-year Uggs loyal slipper-wearer, but this time, I sadly have to give them a pass. The quality has greatly decreased. (And it's not just because of the out-of-Australia fabrication; my much-beloved previous pair say Made In China.) The sheepskin is thinner, not the plush, comfy goodness that makes you feel like walking on clouds. And the sole is really stiff, not soft at all. I am 8 months pregnant and have some wicked plantar fasciitis in my left heel, so I don't have time to mess around with bedroom slippers that look amazing and feel...okay. Not for this price. Ordered several alternates, and the Acorn Ewe Collar are the winners! Not as stylish, but everything you want for a lazy Saturday morning or when you come home from a long day at work. As a bonus, they're cheaper.
