Good Everyday workshoe - This is a good shoe for lots of walking in a classroom. Starts out stiff but will soon be a comfortable old friend.

Sofft's Sienna - I normally wear a 9.5N and initially ordered that size only to find that it was very tight across the top of my foot and short. The 10N is very comfortable and though many others complained about the slipping heel, I think that given the stiffness of the rocker sole, it is supposed to much like a Dansko shoe. It just takes a little getting used to. This is a great all day shoe.

Classy shoe - Just loved the look and feel of this shoe. They're classy, and the leather really is so soft. I'm enjoying wearing them with black slacks or with jeans they look great too. One of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.

little narrow - I have a wide foot and ordered wide... pretty shoe but not quite wide enough. THANK YOU Zappos for excellent service, though.

I loved the look of this shoe. I got so many compliments; but they pinched my last three toes. I will probably reorder (I think my feet have gotten bigger and I need the 1/2 size more-no fault to the shoe or Zappos). They looked fantastic with Dockers or jeans. My husband even said, "these are some cool-looking shoes" and he never notices stuff like that. If you seem to have pinched toes alot of times in a new shoe, opt for the 1/2 bigger not the wide, the heel kept slipping.

Sofft Sienna in black - Cute, basic loafer. The toe box is just a bit shallow. I worried it would rub the nail of my big toe but kept them anyway and so far they've been great knock around shoes. Zappos,as always, was excellent.

Love them but... These shoes are very comfy, I agree with some of the other posters that they are wide in the heel. I am getting used to the slipping, but only have worn them for approx 8 hours and noticed the shiney finish is wearing off of the heel! I can just peel it right off. Underneath is just a dull version of the shiny black, which is ok, but I am disappointed. Considering returning.

Just Imagine - This shoe is comfortable all day long. It runs true to size and width. However, if you have very narrow heels, the soft leather may not give you the grip you need to keep them from slipping when you walk. They're a classy look with enough style to wear with anything from jeans to pant suits...and they have the instant feel of shoes that are "broken in."

Good, but no cigar - The shoes were everything I hoped , except that they were a bit wide in the heel.

Happy feet - Thank you for creating such comfortable shoes. My feet are very happy, the leather is soft and there is support for the arch. The shoes felt comfortable from the first time I used them, no blisters or any other discomfort. Personally, I would have probably welcomed a half inch higher hill, however all in all I feel they are a very good buy.

Europeans may not understand American feet - I found these perfect in width (narrow is hard to come by), but just a tiny bit short (but certainly not a half size too short). So I ordered the next size up, but they were much too big. I took a chance, kept the first pair and wore them a couple of times. They are now quite comfortable. I just have to avoid thick socks. They look great. Beautiful maroon color.

Rubs a bit - I love these shoes. They may work for you but one shoe rubbed my pinky toe so I decided not to risk it. My feet are VERY flat so I wear orthodics. They fit great in these but since my toes spread like a duck's, it just didn't work. Wide shoes are out because they fall off. Oh well.

Beautiful shoe but toe box is WAY too narrow, and I have slender feet. How do you expect women's feet to contort that way??? Otherwise, very comfortable insole.

The heel is too wide, my foot slips when walking. Also unhappy that the tan lining shows

Sizing was off - They were SUPER cute, but much narrower than they should have been. Enough so that I'd have had to go up several sizes to get them to feel right, and I don't have an overly wide foot.

Comfortable but a touch narrow- These shoes are extremely comfortable. It wasn't until the 4th wearing that I realized that my toes were cramped on my right foot. The soles and box are just a touch narrow. I'd be tempted to buy a wide next time if they have them. I have never worn a wide in my life.

I was disappointed with this shoe. It was supposed to be a wide, but is too tight. I was looking for a weekend casual shoe. This one didn't fit the bill for me.

looks may be deceiving - A very well crafted shoe and nice looking as other customers had noted; but, other customers also said the following which I concur with: Shoe is unusually comfortable. The first time I walked for miles. Seems to align the spine and make being upright easy. But there is the problem with the toe crunching and the heel which is too roomy for a narrow foot. Foot rides forward and toe pain is the result. A nice shoe but not for "sensitive", narrow feet. I gave mine away. No regrets.

Search for comfy shoes - I have to say I was a bit disappointed with this shoe. It got great reviews on the site, and I was looking for a shoe that was fashionable but could walk the nearly 2 miles to work in every day. They felt very comfortable when I first put them on, but when I wore them the first day, I got blisters on one heel, and my toes felt squished in the other. They are breaking in, however, and the soles are comfortable. They are narrower than I expected.

Painful after walking in them in my kitchen for 5 minutes, feel narrow. Also the "patent" leather look is smooth in some areas but wrinkly in others. Getting a refund.

They hurt - I really liked the way the shoes looked so I foolishly wore them outside. I was hoping to get a comfortable pair of walking shoes but after a short walk my feet were in pain. The heel is too wide and slips but the foot of the shoe is built low and narrow - too low for comfortable toe room and definitely not a B width. A half size larger may have helped a bit but then they would really slide in the heel.
