First pair, the seam at the heel was pronounced. Felt like I was walking on a twig all day long. I was amazed that Zappos had another pair shipped and received the next day! Truth be told, they were a bit big, but I put a flat Spenco insert in and I love these boots!

I love the boat but should get wide width...let me know what to do to exchange. These took a very long time to arrive so the faster the better.

Just bought these boots a few weeks ago & rarely take them off. They are very comfortable and durable... yet, stylish at the same time. The only issue I had was that they tend to run 1/2 size larger than usual boots. So, I had to trade in my 9 for 8.5. But, the return was super easy & the credit came within a reasonable amount of time. Would definitely recommend these boots for everyday wear!

I purchased these online and I must admit I had higher hopes for them. I think they're a gorgeous boot and they are fairly comfortable, however would likely be more comfortable if they actually fit. I usually wear a size 6 and saw they fit big, but the 5.5 is still too big. I should have ordered a size 5. The size is listed as 5.5M US and 36.5 EURO. Had I know this, I would have ordered the five, as anywhere else, a 6 US is equivalent to a 36 EURO which I know I fit. I live in Canada and ordered them to a PO box in the states, so returning them is just too much of a hassle, not to mention time consuming/expensive. The leather is incredibly soft, much softer than I would have hoped. I wish it would have listed them as a nubuck leather, as that is what they are. I don't think these will hold up to the amount of riding I do weekly, even though it's only 2-3 rides. For someone who rides more frequently, I think these would get scuffed up really quickly. A nice boot, but I likely wouldn't order them again. Also, it would be nice if Durango made size 5's in all of their boots instead of a select few. I can't be the only person with small feet who has a want/need for cowboy boots?

Great looking boot but too narrow. Too uncomfortable to even attempt to break in. Sending them back and I'm going to try a couple of styles by Ariat.

My first time wearing them was a terrible experience. I've had blisters for 3 weeks now and I bought a size bigger to avoid that. I just think the inside shouldn't be sucharged rough material. They look great though

Disappointing!! I received my new pair of these boots, this would have been my 6th pair of the same boot over the last 13 years, and the quality compared to my last 6 pairs is horrible. No longer the leather sole, they look like cheap plastic, as well as the heel, and looks like a bad caulk job around the stitching. Sizing is longer the same either, couldn't get my foot half way in the boot. I will no longer buy Durango boots, will be looking for a new brand of favorite everyday boots

When I think of cowboy boots I think of really reliable, durable, and comfortable boots that look amazing and look better with age. The first pair I ever owned lasted me 9 years and I only had to retire them because of a bad resoling job. If you want a nice pair of cowboy boots these are not the pair for you! I bought them around four months ago and the soles already look like they're going to fall apart within the next few months.
For some reason they decided to make the soles out of a really ugly color brown/tan rubber, then painted the rubber black. So they don't look better with age, they look really cheap with age because of the weird brown rubber which starts to show and corrode (I would post pictures if they let me). I also had to exchange the initial pair of these boots that I bought online, because the cardboard toe insert left a noticeable bump in the leather.
I've never had a pair of boots wear down this way, and it's very disappointing. This is the first pair of Durango's I've bought and I certainly will not buy another if this is what the quality of their shoes is like! I would definitely suggest trying a different brand of boots if you're looking for a nice classic pair of black boots!
