Great looking boot. Hate to give up on it. But it's a squeeze to get on (super tight in arch area). Once on the width is fine. But then you've got to fight to get it back off. And, I'm a size 10 and this is the longest size 10 I ever tried on. If not for the tightness I'd try a 1/2 size down. This pair is going back, unfortunately.

I loved the look of these. I loved how they felt once I got them on my feet. However, as another reviewer stated it was almost impossible to getting them on my feet that I returned them. The only way I could get them on was with bare feet, and since I planned on wearing them with socks, I sent them packing. I love Ariats, and really hope they will just improve these so that I can easily put them on. Please let me know if this happens and I will gladly buy them again!

Nice looking roping style Western boot...but couldn't get my feet all the way into the boot. I am an 8 to 8.5 and ordered an 8 based on reviews. Sadly they are going back. Going with Frye Carsons instead.

I like but don't love the Heritage Ropers. It's a struggle to put them on, I have high insteps and the boots don't. Not as cushy as Ariat Fat Baby boots.

I'm not sure I've picked the best boot for what I wanted to get. They are a little wide and not that comfortable. I needed them right away and in retrospect probably needed a smaller size. They are light weight and have good support. I'll wear them but not as happily as the other pair of Ariat boots I bought. They were the same size as these but fit much better. These are wide for the size. Zappos was great to deal with as always.

Would not recommend this boot to a friend. I found them stiff and difficult to get on. Had them for over a year and they have not softened. On the plus side, they are indestructible, since scratches will rub right off. But if comfort is important to you, look elsewhere.

I've been an Ariat wearer for many years, but gotta say that right now I am so disappointed in them. Due to an injury, I need to now wear a wider boot, so I ordered these boots in a 9 C. Much to my surprise and disappointment, the insole in the 9 C is exactly the same width as the insole in my 9 B. What's up with that? My only option is to try man's boots and hope that the heel isn't way too wide.

I loved these boots, but couldn’t get them on. I was able to get one foot in, but forget the other. I tried for 30 minutes. I ordered an 8, my typical size, and to their credit maybe an 8 1/2 would have been ok. Very well made though and I would have kept them if it wasn’t for the issue of not being able to get my foot into them. I could see if I had a large, chunky foot, but I’m your middle of the road size 8.

Had to return - I REALLY wanted these boots to work for me; I really like the color and the look. However, they were very uncomfortable to me.

Great look, tough to get on... This boot was exactly what I was looking for; however, I could barely get it on my R foot. In fact, not only could I barely get this boot on, but it literally cut/scraped the top of my foot while attempting. Zappos is so wonderful, they exchanged for a larger size. Still ~ same exact problem as before ~ tough time getting on my R foot. Once on, the half size was too big. The great ending to this story is ZAPPOS.com is the best! No questions asked, they took these back for refund. Wishing you better luck with these attractive boots.

Great looking boot IF you can get them on! Well, dang it! I've tried twice and failed. I really wanted this boot. I usually wear an 8.5B so that is what I ordered. I am not even kidding when I say there was NOTHING I could do to get this boot on. I pulled, tugged, shimmied, and swore. Not gonna happen. So then I ordered a 9C. They slipped right on but had too much overall room. So what I need, obviously, is an 8.5C. Which they don't have anymore. So I am very disappointed. On the brighter side, ZAPPOS is the only place to buy shoes. They make it ridiculously easy to send shoes back (free shipping both ways!) and with no tax and free overnight shipping, what more could you want?! Don't worry, I'll be back.

This boot is not wide at all.

They sent a color different from picture. Not distressed. It was dark brown. These are true to size. And they had water marks on them. Obviously returned by someone else who already wore it. Another trip to the ups to return

Love the style of this boot but its not true wide width.
