The boot is fabulous. I think it runs a little large. I wear and 81/2 in most shoes so I ordered an 8 in these. They were still too big and I had to exchange them for a 71/2. Service was incredible, as always.

These boots arrived yesterday but I was too busy to try them on until this morning. I put them on and they felt great so I wore them all day. 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM and I am really happy with them. I have a high arch so I was concerned about ordering a flatter heel boot than I usually wear. The arches are wonderful in these boots. So far I am really happy with them!

I bought these boots a couple years ago - the Ariat boots I had prior I had owned and worn regularly for 10 years. These boots are wonderful all around and no exception to the Ariat family. I have very low arches and these boots give me a perfect amount of support and cushion all day. Although there was a minimal break-in period, the leather did stretch over time, enough that I can either wear the boots with thin socks in warmer weather or thicker wool socks in the winter. The leather has worn well - the distressed look rocks - I love these boots!

These boots are true to size & very comfortable. They are exactly what I wanted to go with leggings & skinny pants.

I bought the Heritage Ropers to wear as alternative to snow boots when caring for my horses. They were well broken in within a day. I've worn them in snow, ice and mud, to the supermarket in Santa Fe and even to the college. They handle work well. They have some traction. Not a lot, but enough. I will wear them all year long to do chores. At Sprouts in Santa Fe, I saw another woman with the same boots. She, like me, went for her comfy Ariat ropers to run errands in. They are cute enough to wear with skirts when the weather warms up. The style is simple, practical and authentic.

Ariat makes great quality footwear. These ropers are no exception. I love the distressed look - saves time wearing them into that comfy look; the comfort wear is there from the get-go.

This is my third pair of this model. I wouldn't be without a pair. I only bought this pair to replace a pair I have been riding in for 10 years. They are durable and comfortable. They also look western without making you look like an urban cowboy!

I ordered a half size down as suggested by some reviewers, and they fit perfectly length-wise but are a little tight across the arches. I think they will stretch out after wearing them awhile though. I like the look of the boot, and it is great quality leather. The foot bed has a nice cushioned sole and they are very comfortable. I love everything about them, especially the price. They are a great pair of boots for that price!

I had to return because my huge feet were swimming in these. I usually wear a 9.5 wide and ordered a 9 wide because of the reviews saying they run large. I probably need a 8.5 wide.

I just got the brown boots and I love them. They are a bit stiff around my calves but the footbed feels great and the leather is beautiful. The color is rich and warm. I got the black ones last year and have worn them a lot. I like the monochromatic cowboy boot styling and can wear them almost anywhere. I wanted to try a different style for variety when I needed new brown boots so I ordered and returned many other boots that were more expensive before I decided to get a second pair of Heritage Ropers. I live in the upper Midwest and I walk a lot in all kinds of weather, so sturdy, comfortable boots are very important to me. These have a synthetic sole with good traction that I greatly prefer to leather soles in winter. I will waterproof them and would not wear them in puddles or slush, but I have worn the black ones when there is snow and ice on the ground. I would be willing to pay more, but I'm delighted that these are a good deal.

My first pair of Ariats and love them! I ordered black in my usual size 9 1/2 and they fit true to size. They were delivered yesterday, I wore them all day today and don't want to take them off after 9 hours. I've had problem feet and am a hair stylist so that's a big deal for me. They're so much more comfortable than Frye boots and the price is great too!

I normally wear a size 6.5 but in Ariat I wear a size 6. I put the boots on while cleaning the house and they were broken in within 2 hours. I wore these all weekend with no blisters or sores. I have boney feet so boots usually rub and hurt. These were comfortable and great for working outside. I wore these with basic Hanes socks.

These are my favorite boots that I've ever had. I have them in brown, but will buy the black ones soon to replace my Frye boots because these are so much more comfortable. They took a week or two of wear to really conform to my feet and now I wear them almost every day. There is the perfect amount of room in the toe box. I have run them through all kinds of environments and they're just as beautiful with scratches on them as they were new. I usually wear them with skirts, dresses, and shorts, but they are cute with jeggings too. I have athletic calves and these are flattering on them. Definitely worth the money.

LOVE these boots! I am typically size 8 so ordered the 7.5. They seemed slightly loose so tried a 7. I couldn't even get my foot in the 7 so stuck with the 7.5. soft leather, comfortable, and a very versatile boot. Great quality at a great price!!

Never in a million years did I think I could ever wear cowboy boots. I have checking out and reading reviews for a long time now on many boots, but none seemed like they would fit me or be comfortable enough for me to wear until now. When I opened the box and saw the boots I was like, there is no way these are going to fit me and be comfortable. I WAS WRONG!!! They fit PERFECTLY and were very comfortable right from the start. I bought a half size smaller than I normally would have for a boot from reading the reviews. Even though it was August, I decided to break them in right away. Had no problem with them, even though I have a high instep and lots of pain issues with my feet. I felt like a million bucks and stylish too!
