I ordered these boots in an 8 1/2 Wide. Because I have a pair of Ariat boots in an 8 1/2 and they’re great. These felt like kids boots the arch was all wrong and they were super narrow for being a wife width. I sent them back and got a men’s boot in a size 7 and they fit perfectly. Not sure where the sizing was off, but a good option is the men’s boot if you have wide feet.

Absolutely love these boots! I dress them up for the office and can still wear them in the fields. Great fit and so comfortable.

I have never written a review before- I absolutely love these boots! I live in Upper Michigan where we get lots of snow and ice - these boots are perfect and I will be able to wear them all year round, They felt great right out of the box

Love these! I’m usually an 8, so I ordered a 7.5C and the fit is perfect. They are really comfortable after only a couple of wears.

I wear an 8 1/2 medium in shoes, boots...I ordered these in an 8 1/2 and they fit me well. I like the simple style- I have always been pretty happy with the Ariat brand.

Normally I would order the 9.5 but in these I got the 9. The 9.5 was out of stock anyway. I have narrow and skinny but long feet & toes. They fit perfectly and they're stunning. My favorite boot. I wish I'd found them years ago. I wear them almost every day. They go with everything.

Take the time to break these in! Great boots, snug at first, feel true to size and fine on the width.

These were a great Buy! Love them and wear year round.

This purchase was at least my 5th pair of these same boots. I wear them on the farm and all day at work. They are rugged and last a long time. It won't be my last.

I ordered 7.5 W as I have worn for many years and I could not get my foot in the boots the insep (vamp) was just way to low for me. they were just what i wanted but just no way could I have worm them I read all about steaming them but just could not bring myself to do that to a pair of brand new boots. the lady I spoke with at the company was super great, suggested I look into WW sizes and maybe go up a size, which I will probably have to try. Had to return both pairs of my beautiful boots, but for better luck neck time. these boots are just beautifully made. DJH

I’ve owned my last pair for over a decade. Closer 12yrs? They’ve been in manure, snow, ice, salt, gravel, creeks... they’re comfy for hours on concrete. I am buying a new pair because I’ve wrecked the heel to sole connection to the point where they cannot be fixed. 100% due to me using boot A to kick off boot B. Granted it took over a decade to kill these!!

Love these boots!! Immediately comfortable no need for them to break in. I finally found a pair of western style boots that fit.

Beautiful boots. The leather looks so expensive, and the color is rich. The boots slipped on really easily and so far are comfortable. They will be used for riding, so I can update the review if anything changes!

I wear a size 8.5 in the Ariat R-toe cowboy boots so I ordered these in the 8.5 as well. They were a little tight at first at the top of the foot close to my ankle and the width but I still had room to wiggle my toes. The leather is soft and I have only had them a week and they are stretching out perfectly. My feet are wider but my ankles are small. I went with the medium width instead of wide and i'm glad. The wide would have stretched too much. The distressed leather looks like it will weather nicely. I have high arches and the insert is good. I love them. Great work boot!

Love them. A little snug on the sides but broke in perfectly over couple days.

Great boot! Mine felt a half size too large but footbed is comfortable.

I have been wearing Ariat boots for several years (over 20). These boots were the ones that introduced me to the brand and I haven't regretted it at all. I absolutely love Ariat boots and shoes and by them every so often because they last a long time. I just simply wore these out, they wore well around the barn and best of all I could saddle up and ride without changing boots! If you don't like these boots, then you can't be pleased!

This is the second pair of the Heritage Roper boots I have ordered. The first pair (in brown) was over a year ago and are still in great shape. I ride in them 4 times a week and they have been through dust, rain and muck. This pair is in black and look very stylish so am saving them for non horse riding acitivities. Ariat makes a fabulous product. Shoe size is consistent within and across boot lines (owned a different style before the Ropers). Plus the leather conforms to the uniqueness of your foot. Wish I could say that about other shoe manufacturers. Best of all, the price is within my budget.

Took the plunge and bought these - so happy that I did. They are so incredibly comfortable. I did go with the wide width so that I could wear thicker socks, so happy that I did, they fit perfectly even with thin socks. Very pleased with this purchase. Zappos is an amazing company, their customer service is better than almost any company I have ever worked with. You will not be disappointed.
