These are a quality and very comfortable boot to wear on a daily basis. They are light and the rubber sole allows you to wear them in extreme weather, such as rain & snow. The break-in period is very fast, which makes these boots even more desirable.

I have worn the Heritage Roper boots since 2005. These boots were made in Indonesia and my fit was 11.5 W. I have tried to purchase the same boots that are made in Vietnam and the size is not consistent. The 11.5 boots were too large, the 11.0 boots were a little too large, and the 10.5 boots were really odd. The right boot fit properly, but the left boot was so small I couldn't get my foot into the foot box. I'll keep trying, but I can no longer order on-line.

Incredible boots. Make sure you get sized and allow them to break in. I wear the black boots everywhere. I wear them doing yardwork, I wear them to the office, I wear them to church, I wear them on construction sites. 10/10 recommend

Good boots, got delivered the day after ordering, only issue is i got a size below what i normally wear and they're a bit big on me but thats fixable with some thicker socks

My 4th pair, so I obviously like them. Hope they dont change them!

The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars is because the top of the boot was digging into my calf, so much so that I thought I wouldn't be able to wear them. I had to return the boots.

Im giving this a one star because of the customer service and inability to send the proper product. I returned one size and requested a different size. It took 19 days for Ariat to process that return after receiving the returned product and send the different size. However they didnt send the right product even after 19 days .They sent a different gender, a different size and a different product. This picture is of a womens size 8 Wexford not a mens distressed roper size 10, .

Bought because I can get in narrow width and needed a smooth black finish for work uniform. Fit much better than what I have been wearing for years.

So far they seem to be nice boots. They look great and zero compaints. Havent had the boots very long however.

Love the through back to a classic western boot you can wear on the ranch as well as out on a night out on town. Great fit and comfortable boot. Will buy another pair.

Incredibly stiff and difficult to get on and off. Fit fine once I was able to get them on, so its not a size issue. Really wanted to like them, but had to return.

These are my first cowboy boots and I got them today. They are awesome and probably one of the best footwear I've ever worn. If someone is planning to buy them, consider maybe going half size down from usual footwear, at least that worked for me. True Fit feature on Ariat store page is of great help in determining the right size.

EXCELLENT! I'm not a "cowboy", but bought first pair in 2011, at Shepler's in Denver, and they are still going strong in 2024! One of the best footwear purchases I've ever made. Very comfortable all day/evening, can walk rural or city pavement miles in these, including winter ice, with the rubber sole. Passable for dancing. Black shines up very nicely, looks great dressed down casual or up in a suit. Many airline pilots, fire/EMT's, and others wear with uniforms. Ariat should also offer a smooth BROWN Roper, and market it for optional wear with the new "brown shoe" US Army service dress uniform - they would sell a lot! The Ariat Roper is definitely a step better quaity than the Justins. Am ordering a spare pair now because a Boot Barn clerk in San Antonio told me that Ariat stopped making Ropers :(

These boots came very highly rated from coworkers. I was planning on being a lifelong customer. I used your TrueFit system which suggested a size that seemed too big but I have never owned cowboy boots so I tried this. They were way too big. The exchange process was quite difficult. Just to speak to a human took multiple phone calls. Finally I was able to get the exchange set up. After about 4-5 days I called to see when my boots would ship. They told me that I had to ship mine back first - exactly the OPPPOSITE of what I was told on the phone. I was told the shipping label would be in the box with the new smaller size. Nope. Another week. Finally received the new boots and way too big again. It was a Sunday so I looked on the website to see if I could contact anyone - I found a section where I could exchange online! Score... I'll get one size smaller and be good to go!! Nope. After taking the time to type out and explain the entire situation - they received my boots and started a refund! I called for yet again and patiently explained the entire situation (yet again) to the nice customer service person. She put me on hold and came back to tell my my boots were at my house. Ugh... AGAIN, I explained that I sent the boots back and they were received already (that day in fact). She put me on a lengthy hold and came back to tell me that "Yes, you will receive a refund!" I said You know that's not what I want right? She seemed completely lost and said she didn't understand. I said "Never mind, I'll buy work shoes somewhere else" I'm super disappointed after all the good peer reviews from my friends. You lost a lifelong customer because your systems are not good.

Didn't fit like previous Ariat's of the same size. Not sure why. Just had to send them back, couldn't use them.

Size is a bit large... Wish it would take a little more shine. As a dress boot, opening of boot is a bit large for today's men's narrow leg pants. Appears a lot of pants may not be wearable with this boot. But when you are a 13 narrow, and nobody else has your size, you accept shortcomings... Boot does have extraordinary workmanship.
