These are exactly what I was looking for - real cowboy boots, not lightweight fakes. If a horse steps on my foot, I probably won't feel it. The leather is thick, and I love that they don't look brand new. I didn't need or want all that fancy scroll work, especially since I always wear my jeans over them. I read the reviews and everyone commented on how comfortable they are. I agree. I will wear them around the house for a while just to get them shaped to my foot and my foot shaped to them, but otherwise, I can see myself walking in them with no issues. Buying cowboy boots is not easy online. I first tried the women's version, but they weren't wide enough, so I called and they sent the men's version, and advised me on what size, and they're perfect. I really enjoyed talking to the reps. I actually felt happy afterwards. Very pleased with my purchase and my buying experience. Only one comment - the photo for the men's version looks like the leather is shiny - they are not (I didn't want shiny). The photo for the women's version is more true to life.

To compliment Zappos, I would have to express my appreciation for a transaction that was extremely satisfying. The person that I spoke with was truly knowledgeable about Zappos policies and procedures. Thank you for the speed of shipping and the boots fit well and were what I had expected.

I just ordered my Ariat Ropers, as I have owned a pair for 10 years now. I got the exact same size, as the ones I am wearing, so I do know that they will fit just fine. They are really nice to walk in, not anything like the higher heeled cowboy boots, these are very standard shoe like, no steep pitch from a high boot heel. They have a good look with boot cut jeans, and are extremely durable. I put many hundred of miles on the pair I have on, and they are still intact, the sole is still very well attached to the boot. I am replacing them because I have scrubbed them so much, and put so many different treatments and oils on the leather, they are just very dull and beat looking, I just want a new pair (I will keep these beat ones too). They are quite comfortable. The sole has pretty good grip on the asphalt, I wear them often riding my motorcycle. I do not sweat much in them, even on the hottest days. I love this boot, and Zappos had a good price.

Ariat Ropers are the best boots I ever had,I bought these to replace the ones I wore out after about 6 or 7 years of everday use,had them for about 2 months and noticed the threads on the soles were comeing out and frayed, called Zappos on Wednesday, and the new boots arrived the next day,what service,sometimes strangers come up to me and say "Nice boots"

Not originally what my husband wanted but ended up keeping them. The first size didn't work but customer service was awesome and took care of everything! Thank you!

These are awesome boots! I wore them right out of the box yesterday for two hours and they felt great. I have owned boots my entire life and never have been able to say that before. The fit of my normal size is perfect and the style and appearance is terrific. As for Zappos, what more could you ask for?
