Got these two years ago and they've been great. The shoe beds go out but if you fork out a few bucks for good ones these boots will keep your feet comfortable for a long time.
I saw one review say they weren't water proof which may be true, but I've stood in the cold water of a river in the Colorado mountains wearing these and I never felt a drop.
I am using them for work now and they are getting best up but they are still rough sobs.

I wear these all day at work, and my feet have never been happier. These look great with the uniform, flex perfectly on the rudder pedals, and keep my feet warm and dry on the ramp.
I treated mine with mink oil and they seem to like it. Expect to spend about two full days breaking them in, but after they do, they will feel like slippers. Keep up the good work, Ariat.

I've bought a lot of boots; these are the best! I can almost slide them on and off w/o using the bootstraps!

Had them for about a year. They are so comfortable. Black ones go great with jeans or slacks. Highly recommend!

I've been wearing this specific model boot since 2001. I average one new pair every year as I wear them all day every day. They are very comfortable, durable and good looking. I wouldn't keep buying them If I wasn't happy with them!

I bought brown Heritage Ropers, 10" high, a month ago. Polished with neutral cream to preserve the beautiful finish. Were comfortable from the start. Soft leather. No "break-in" required. Boot was recommended by others.

This is my second pair of Heritage Ropers. I wear these boots to work everyday walking ranches, farms and recreational properties. I change the footbed inserts about every 90-120 days. The only reason I bought a second pair is that the first pair was getting beat up because of what I do. I love the boots and constantly receive comments on how they look.

I bought these for work and there are days that I literally put 3-5 miles in before the 8 hours are done. I have very wide feet and these boots fit beautifully! I have had no issues with the boots rubbing in any place that caused blisters, they didn't pinch and my feet while tired at the end of my shift don't scream at me. Love these boots and will be back to purchase another pair for my personal life.

My wonderful husband gave me a new pair when the first pair fell apart after 5 years of HARD labor. The fit (7C) is perfect. I've worn these boots through building a community garden, landscaping my own yard, shoveling broken sewage lines, construction sites , and rocky, cactus-filled pastures. LOVE these boots! I also have the Heritage Western for dress -- love them! Will never be without my Ariats. BTW, I nailed the old ones to the fence for bird abodes because I can't bear to throw them away.

I recently had to change all my shoes due to needing wider shoes to accommodate orthotics and bunions. My doc tried to take my cowboy boots! I said no. My idea was to try these and it was a GREAT call. The heel is low enough so that it doesn't force pressure to the front of the boot and the width accommodates the orthotic. I use boot socks and they're perfect to wear. HIGHLY recommended for girls not wanting to give up boots for foot problems. I ordered the 7 and 7.5 to figure out what would fit better and I found the 7 to be a better choice given how this style will stretch and give. The 7.5 was already feeling too lose. And yes, I'll ride in them too!

I was in search for new pair of boots and the past reviews, price point and brand reputation did it for me. Living up to the expectations a week in! Comfortable, stylish ( but not too much), and very high quality. These do it for me, I'll be !

I LOVE this boot. I bought the brown ones. The leather is excellent quality and these boots should prove to be a comfortable fit. Sadly they did not fit me, I had too much room in the toe area (It was long) so I will be returning them. I still would highly recommend them.

I'm new to the boot game and was given the Ariat name from a friend. The thing I'm most impressed with is that these boots required no break in period. After the first day they were perfect and continued to be wonderful.

Bought a pair of these in 2008. FINALLY buying a replacement. In the mean time bought a similar pair for my father who is also still wearing these. The sole is non slip, the upper is a good leather which wears well. This pair has seen many trips to Corn/Soybean Fields/Harvest, Motorcycle rides and even trips to Church. Durable enough for field work, Good looking enough for Church. Only "complaint" is that the sole wore out after nearly 10 YEARS! (i.e. no complaint)
