I like these shoes a lot. I had been struggling in Zumba because my shoes stuck to the floor, but these are great for pivoting and sliding. Good arch support, and shock absorbing. Based on reviews that the shoes run quite small, I originally ordered a full size up, but those were too big so I returned them and just got a half size larger. My feet are skinny and flat, so for 'fuller figured' feet you might still want to order larger. I love Zappos, it is one thing to offer free shipping, but free returns? I never would have tried these shoes if it hadn't been for the free returns, especially since there was so much uncertainty about the sizing.

I am an Oula instructor which is an intense, cardio dance workout. I dance six days a week, sometimes twice a day. I had a terrible time finding the right shoes to dance in. I tried several different styles of each of the following brands: Nike, Brooks, Pearl Izumi, and Asics. All of these shoes were nearly twice the price of the Blochs, but they did not provide enough support, have the right toe box and did not support the movements you do in a high cardio dance class. I tried these shoes a year ago, and they are the only shoes that I dance in now. They have great lateral support for ballistic side to side movement. The spin spot is sweet for turns and is so easy on the knees. They are light weight and still have lots of support for the balls of your feet, the tips of your toes and your heels. They slide across the floor with ease during sinewy movements and stand up to the ballistic, explosive movements in our highest cardio songs. Because of the split sole, pointing your toes is easy. These are exclusively dance shoes. They are terrible to wear on cardio equipment or even to walk around in. But when I put them on my feet to dance, my feet are happy. These run really small! I wear an 8 and order a 9½ in the Blochs. Style is bummer. I wish they came in more colors. Many people will be curious because they look different, but few people gush about how cute they are.

This shoe is super comfortable! No break-in time necessary. It does run small. I usually wear a 9 wide and needed a 10-1/2 in this shoe. Because of other reviews warning of the small fit, and Zappos great refund policy, I ordered 3 pairs of shoes and returned the 2 pairs that didn't fit.

This shoe is well made and gives me the support I need, which I did not have in another brand shoe I was wearing. One warning, they run real small and not true to size. I typically wear an 8.5, and had to buy a 10.5 to fit me.

I love these sneakers. They are light, supportive and flexible. They are my second pair.I wore the first one until the soles cracked. Actually bought a 12 whenI wear a 10.5 street shoe.

I really like these shoes. I ordered them for my zumba classed and they make all the difference to my knees. I highly recommend them.

Great shoes, comfy, I usually wear a 8.5 -9 and a size 10 fit perfectly . Danced all day the first time I wore them. Recommend 5 stars for a 1st dance sneaker.

I love my new pink dancing shoes...they are really not sized correctly. I went a full size more and could have done another 1/2 size. Next time. Very comfortable and they do have enough of a sole to slide when needed.

These run really small; I take an 8 shoe and use a 9 for cross training and zumba so I have a bit of room when jumping and sliding, per a professional fitter. I ordered the 9 in these and they are too small.

It would be even more fabulous if your shoes were manufactured in the United States. I enjoyed speaking with your employees when ordering my shoes. The return process for returning my shoes was simple and it was even better that I did not have to pay for shipping! I was not sure how to answer the questions below...so I will write my answer here....I normally wear a size 10 or 11 depending on the style. I have a wide foot. I ended up keeping the size 12 dance shoe as that one fit me the best. I would have liked if it would have been a wide instead of medium width but your company did not have the wide width.

I saw these shoes at the Goodwill, they looked funny, but usually those are the expensive ones. I noticed the comfort of the bend in the center, and right away I wanted to try them on because I have a high arch, I didn't even look at the size. I wear an 81/2 but I usually get a 9 in gym shoes because my feet tend to swell after doing exercise, well for 12.99 I tried them on anyway, and I compared them to the reebok easy tones, I immediately chose the bloch mesh sneaker because there really was no comparison. Only thing, if you're going to purchase these shoes I have to be honest, as I was looking on the inside of the shoe I noticed the size, it was a 10, and as I stated earlier I normally wear a 8 1/2 and 9 for comfort so you may want to go up a size because the 10 fits me perfect.

I was looking for a comfortable shoe for Jazzercise so I bought both this shoe in pink and a pair of Ryka Devotion shoes. I tired the Bloch first and wow, I really liked the way they felt! I felt like my weight was better balanced and they are great on carpet as well as wood floors. They are really nice looking! Got lots of compliments on them. I feel like this shoe feels better to me than the Ryka pair. Also the tread on the shoe is less so it makes it easier to move. The Rykas have a heavier tread and they don't glide on the carpet. I am for sure keeping this Bloch pair for class. I just love them!

Love these shoes! I had lots of hip and knee pain on and off after my Zumba classes. I was wearing cross-trainers, which were actually pretty non-abrasive and were very light. I prefer the lighter the better, especially for dance faintness with all the jumps and leg lifting! The split-sole of these really gives additional arch support! That helped my leg pain immediately! I also notice much less strain on my knees when jumping and turning, thanks to the awesome pivot-point on the bottom of the shoe. They're actually very light as well! I definitely recommend these for any dance-fitness! Heck, I wish they looked more like regular tennis shoes, I want to wear them every day sometimes they're so comfy!

I bought these for a Zumba class and they are much better than regular sneaker. You have the ability to turn smoother and the cushioning is much better, my knees thanked me! But you do have to buy one size up from your shoe size. You get an extra pair of laces, would have been nice if they were a fun color. Fair price, quick delivery!

Ordered these for Zumba. Love them, I have wide feet and they're comfy. I normally wear 7 1/2, ordered an 8 and perfect fit.

These dance sneakers rock! I ordered Capezio Rockit first that were very nice but were cut low and didn't fit my foot as well - back they went. I wear a 8.5D Usually when I purchase a shoe in Medium width I order a 9. This shoe isn't offered in wide width so I ordered a 9.5 The fit is good, great arch support and flexibility. Sturdy support throughout but lightweight. Mesh is strong but gives somewhat, and is cool. Lace-up is fast. Zumba is even more fun wearing these shoes. I feel like I can do anything.

So incredibly comfortably I'm wearing them around the house. Better yet, they're cute. It's more than the color, it's a nice form factor. Not too bulky like some sports shoes, trim and super light yet with excellent arch support. I want another pair! Without socks I'm almost always a size 9, but these run small so I bought the size 10.

I teach and do OULA, a fabulous high cardio dance workout, five to six days a week. I've tried just about every brand and style of shoe out there, and these are the shoes! I like a lightweight shoe that doesn't feel like I have a shoe on. I need a generous toe box or my feet are going numb three songs into a 16 song playlist. I need good lateral support because we jump side to side a bunch. We do a loopy of turns and regular gym shoes gripped the floor too well. I have a tendency to dance flat footed when I get tired. Dance moves look much better when you can point or flex your toes. These shoes have a generous toe box. They have a sweet spin spot on the ball of the foot to make turns easy putting less pressure on my knees. I love that pointing my toes and flexing my feet is so easy. They have great lateral support, yet they are a lightweight breathable shoe. I can feel instantly when I start dancing flat and get on the balls of my feet again. Two minor notes: You don't have super stopping power when you are moving forward if you are on the balls of your feet (because of the spin spot,) you need to use the toe or heel of the shoe for this. They run super small. I normally wear a size 8, and I order 9.5 so I can wear workout socks with them. Ordering my fifth pair today.

My feet measure 11¼C. For the last 40 years this size has been unavailable due to most shoes past size 10 do not come in half sizes. I was forced purchase size 12 to accommodate the extra ¼" of length. Size 12 has been unavailable in a C width forever so I tried D. That was too roomy, I might as well have worn the shoe box. Size 12B was a perfect width but it narrowed the toes which caused pain. To make matters worse, I have high arches. Most shoes that I have are uncomfortable because of no arch and store-bought arches do not work very well either. I was amazed when I found these funny looking sneakers. I ordered an 11½B, fully expecting to have to return them, but they were perfect! I will buy another. I am thrilled. I have not had shoes that fit correctly... ever!

I read all the reviews on this shoe about it running a size to a size and a half small. I was desperate to find a comfortable shoe for Zumba because nothing felt good to my feet. So I took a chance and ordered this shoe 1.5 sizes larger. It was a strange thing to do since I never wore a 10.5 ! However, the shoes fit great! They look like my regular size. They are very flexible also.

Love these shoes. I wear a 7 and ordered an 8 and they fit perfect. Very nice to dance to the quick Zumba steps. Also, there toe tip is a must to have.

I don't wear these shoes just for dancing! They are lightweight, flexible and very comfortable -- and especially good for people with high arches. An added bonus is they don't make your feet look like you are wearing 2 bricks! At first, I thought they had great arch support, but after wearing them all day, I would rate the arch support at moderate. As other reviewers have stated, the sizing is a little off. I ordered one full size larger than I usually wear in a closed toe shoe. After I added my orthotics, I wished I had ordered 1 1/2 sizes larger. Orthotics make the toe box a little too snug, but these shoes are little gems. I will wear them (with comfort) as long as I won't be on my feet all day. For that, I would need to order the next size up...and I just may do that!
