I bought these shoes for my Zumba classes and love them. They have some cushion for the impact as well as ability to pivot on the ball on my foot. Buy them one size larger than you would normally wear. Happy dancing.

Great - I bought this shoe for work. I have a heel problem and needed support and cushion. I am on my feet for about 15 hours a day. This shoe provides me with comfort and relief. I did buy a size and a half bigger according to other reviews.

Most comfortable dance shoe! The shoe runs small but after ordering two sizes larger (I'm an 8-Wide, but the 10-Medium fits me perfectly), it is THE MOST COMFORTABLE DANCE SHOE I'VE EVER HAD! Tons of cushion in the ball of the foot, which I desperately needed considering I dance 6-7 days per week (mostly ballroom/latin/tango, some jazz/hip-hop). The arch support is excellent, yet flexible when necessary. My only suggestion would be to make it in more neutral colors (more like a regular sneaker, like white/gray or gray/blue). And Zappos' service is just the best there is...one-day free shipping is unbelievable! Thank you!

Love this shoe! Thanks to previous reviews, I ordered a size 10 even though I usually wear an 8.5. They fit perfectly! I bought these shoes to do dance DVDs by Patrick Goudeau. My aerobic shoes did not enable me to spin, which was very frustrating. These shoes are wonderful, they are exactly what I needed! I can spin easily, yet there is enough support and cushioning for the jumps and other moves. I highly recommend them.

Awesome shoe! Very comfy...I usually wear a size 8 or 8 1/2, but took everyone's advice and ordered a 10...they fit perfect!

Really nice dance sneaker - I just got these. I'm from Sydney, Australia so always buy Bloch if possible. I'm a professional ballet dancer postop from 2 hip surgeries. Got these to wear in physical therapy etc. Re size - I got 1 1/2 sizes up per the other reviews but they were too big and the arch really wrinkled when I pointed my foot - my arch is quite high but moderate for a dancer. I returned and got 1 size up. These fit fine although the arch does still wrinkle some when I point, I think that is probably just how they fit my foot. They look very nice and do feel good also. Much nicer than any other dance sneakers. The heel is also low enough you can point without it digging into your achilles. I love the pink but note that it is darker than in the photos, especially the mesh part. Highly recommended, just know you may have to experiment with sizes. I'm size 8 street shoe, size 5 1/4 Bloch custom point shoe, and ended up with a 9 in this sneaker.

Daughter's fav christmas present - Daughter states best shoe for her dance team. Loves it and helps her kick better. She is a 10th grader on her high school varsity dance team.

Don't be a blockhead when you order this shoe - I like the look of this dance sneaker. I got the pink, and it's very cute. Just remember, if you don't normally buy dance shoes, that this is not sized like a street shoe. I normally wear a 10, and had to get an 11.5, with thin socks. The arch is flexible, for greater dance movement, and is not for people with serious arch support problems. I use these for Salsa Dance classes, and find they work great for spinning. I have heard that they can be hard on your knees, if you wear them a lot, but if you are looking for a shoe to alternate with your hi-heels in dance classes, I can strongly recommend these. Excellent - Bought these shoes for a friend and had to hope they would fit. I got a size bigger and I was pleased I did - they fit perfectly. My friend adores them!

Comfortable dance shoe! I ordered the pink ones because the black ones were not available in my size. I wear street size 8.5 but had to order a size 10 so that my toes felt comfortable. The shoes are light and they fit around my feet perfectly. We do a lot of stomping in our dance so these shoes helped with shock absorption.

Black jazz sneakers - very comfortable. Cheaper than moct dance shops. Georgeuos.

Class Act All Around - GREAT shoe - stylish, comfortable, helps us klutzes dance a tiny bit better :> Definitely order at least one size up for wiggle room for toes. You want a snug fit but not a bound foot! Zappos is truly one of the finest places to deal with, as well. Excellent products and service.

Great dance sneaker! The arch felt a little funny at first, because it's high on both the inside and outside of your foot. Still, the support is great, and the shoe is comfortable and very cute!

Bloch's Boost DRT Mesh Review - I wear a children's size 3 1/2 shoe and I am 32years old. I find it very hard to find shoes and Zappos have really made it a lot easier for me. This shoe is very comfortable and flexible. I really like it but it does not have real rubber soles which I think is cheap considering what you pay for the shoe. I ended up fitting into a size 6 & I normally wear a 3 1/2 in childrens. Zappos was really great about sending out free shipping on as many different sizes that I need to try on. They were great and I finally found the size that fit me.

really cute dance sneaker! I love these sneakers! They are very cute, funky, stylish & comfy. I use them for salsa & hip-hop. I like the way they spin. In my opinion they are better for spinning on a wood floor than the Capezios I have. (In case you were wondering, the main difference between dance sneakers & street sneakers is that they have a hard, split (flexible in the middle) rubber sole that allows spinning, rather than a grippy sole for traction like street or athletic sneakers.) You really do need to order 1/2 size larger than your street shoe though - I did that based on the other reviews on this site, even though I was skeptical, but it turned out to be really good advice.

The best dance shoe overall! I love this shoe for dancing, and I also use it for Jazzercise classes. I have the all-black and the pink & black versions. The pink shoes always get a ton of compliments -- they are so cute!

Great buy and as always, great customer service! I bought this shoes because I needed a shoe that offers support for dance class. I am very pleased with the overall results and especially the look (I bougth the pink one). I've been told by many of the dancers how cute they were! Be advised though, I wear a size 7 in tennis shoes but these shoes are so small that when I ordered a 7 1/2 they wouldn't fit me. My suggestion, order a size up.

Ordered up 2 sizes! Great shoe--value, value, style, & comfort! I ordered up 1-1/2 sizes, but had to exchange for ^^ 2 sizes (I like toe room). Light as a feather. Two ways of lacing! Zappos was great--got me the replacements in less than 18 hours! From halfway across the US!

Very nice dance shoe! This model is S0538L. I actually also have S0539. Between the two shoes, SO538 is the best! I got a 1/2 up from my regular street sneaker and it fits me nicely, where the S0539 is a 1/2 up and is slightly too big and my street shoe size was too tight. The SO538 gave me a perfect fit. The only complain I have is that at first when I put them on I could feel a crease or something at my toe, but after wearing them it seemed to go away. Maybe it was part of breaking in the shoe. I really like the way these shoes look, too. They are easy to dance in and easy to do turns. Keep in mind you are able to price match with other stores. The benefits of ordering from zappos is that just in case they do have free returns which aren't offered by other dance stores.

Love the shoes!! I absolutely love these shoes. I am new to salsa - and these shoes are awsome for dancing. I have the 538 model & I just ordered the 593. for salsa you really need a shoe with extra cushion for the pads of your feet. They are SO comfortable. I wear a size 7 & i had to get a size 8. they do run a full size smaller.

Dance sneakers - I wanted these shoes for tango, as I am a tango dancer. They are fabulous!

Bloch's Boost DRT Mesh Sneaker - I ordered this sneaker in the pink and it looks so cool, I got many compliments in dance class!! I wear a size 8.5 and ordered a 9.5. This particular style does run a full size smaller than marked, so I recommend sizing at least one size up but they should still fit snug. They are very comfortable and have great arch support.

This is one great choice!!! Absolutely love this shoe. Feel great! Has a great look and with the different color choices you can feel a bit hipper than plain black. They have great support for the foot and allow for maximum performance.
