I love to Zumba, but have a lot of problems with my weak ankle. So I ordered 6 pairs of shoes in an effort to find something that would work for me. Normally I wear a 9 wide in street shoes and a 9.5 wide in athletic shoes. I was looking for a wide shoe that would allow me to twist and move smoothly during Zumba without catching my foot and putting stress on my ankles. These are the shoes that I tried and a short review of each: Capezio Web in Black/Pink sz10 - Adorable shoe! It had the slickest soles of all the shoes (which I loved) but was way too narrow for my feet. Length, however, was fine. Ryka Studio D Mid sz10 - I thought this would offer great ankle support, but it looked cheap, felt stiff, and was painfully narrow. Ryka Sync sz10 - I got the silver, which was cute, but looked like it would be hard to keep clean. This shoe was painfully narrow on my feet. Length was fine. Ryka Studio Flex Low sz9.5 - finally, a wider shoe! The 9.5 was the right length, and although the width felt a little tight across the widest part of my foot, I felt it would probably be fine after a little wearing. However, this shoe looked and felt just like the Saucony cross trainer I already wore. I put this shoe on one foot and my cross trainer on the other and really could not tell the difference in sole slickness or general foot flexibility. Bloch Boost DRT Mesh (Pink) sz10 - Loved this shoe! Nice and wide with laces that added a lot of fit flexibility. These shoes glided on the dance floor, and were super flexible and surprisingly supportive; however, they aggravated an old toe injury (arthritic pain) and just didn't work for me. I do recommend them though! Nike Zoom Dance Trainer sz10 - I was so surprised by this shoe. I almost didn't order it because Nikes have always been too narrow for my foot, but this was by far the widest shoe I tried! I will say that every time I put this shoe on, I give a little sigh. It is just that comfortable! The soles are not as slick as the Capezio or Bloch - but much slicker than the Rykas. I have used them for Zumba several times now and am amazed! I attended a 2 hour Zumbathon a few days after I received these shoes and after 2 hours of continual dance and no ankle brace, my feet still felt wonderful! For someone who used to double wrap her ankle and then ice it after an hour of Zumba this was nothing short of a miracle! Length was fine, and these shoes have the added benefit of also being great for weight lifting! For me, they added a lot of stability and balance. I am really happy with these shoes! Also, Zappos processed my returns without incident. I am thrilled with Zappos service, and will definitely use them again!

Been doing Zumba and my ankles were killing me. Tried several different shoes until I found these. These are amazing. The arch support is incredible. No more ankle pain and I want to wear them all the time. They run small. Usually a 6 wide, ordered a 6.5 they were too small, exchanged for a 7 and they fit like a glove. Highly recommend this shoe, especially for ZUMBA!!!!!

Great shoe for Zumba! I have wide feet and I was looking for a good Zumba shoe. This is it! After about two classes, the width stretched out so that it is now super comfortable. I literally could not be any happier with this purchase. I normally wear a 8.5, and I purchased a 9.5, based on the reviews. It fits perfectly! Love them!

I love these shoes! I\'ve been having lots of foot pain since I started my new job and had to wear flats every day. It felt like my arches were falling. Since I bought these shoes, I haven\'t had any more of that pain. They\'re lightweight, comfortable, and I\'ve actually been complimented by others on how they look. I don\'t wear these for dance, but for everyday wear.

These are the best dance sneakers ever! I have had them for more than three years now, and they are still in good shape. I mainly use them for Salsa dancing, but I actually walk very long distances in these shoes, because they are the most comfortable shoes ever. I recommend them to other dancers I work with (Salsa and Tango), and they all love them. I also recommend them to all participants of my Salsa dance retreats. After more than 3 years of hard use, they have a little tear under the sole, which isn't getting worse and I still don't need new shoes. Fellow dancers who buy cheaper versions keep buying new shoes all the time, and I am still on my first pair. Outstanding quality! They spin very well and are great on about any dance floor. The sizing is a little off though, I usually wear a 7.5 or 8, and in these shoes I need a 9.

Got these for Zumba, they are fabulous. I have size 12 flat feet and at first I was lacing them way too tight and they were incredibly painful through my midsole. Now, I put them on unlaced, jump up and down a few times to make sure my toes are in them firmly, and then lace. My big toe is the longest, and so I wear a 12.5 in these. They make turns very easy, they look great, and they are a fabulous alternative even for someone who generally dances barefoot. They're also lightweight and breathable.

I love these shoes! An instructor for a cardio kick boxing class turned me on to these, and they are perfect!It makes a huge difference to be able point and flex your foot. They have great cushioning for the ball of your foot and heel.I did order a full size bigger than I usually wear and they fit perfect. Very comfortable.

These are great all-around dance sneakers. For a split-sole, the arch support isn't bad. I tried a few other brand's for dance sneakers, and was much more impressed by the Bloch. The quality is high, the insole is decent, and the footbed is well shaped. If you're not dancing point (and therefore don't need a very tight sneaker) please size way up. I tend to wear Women's size 8 1/2 or 9 sneakers, and I was happiest with the 10 or 10 1/2. Also, I have very wide feet, and these worked well for me, so might be too wide if you have very narrow feet.

Shoe runs very small. I am consistently a size 8 but in this shoe, I bought a size 9-1/2. Luckily, I'd tried them on in a shoe store before buying from Zappos.

This is the best dance sneaker. It allows you to point your toe like a ballet shoe, yet provides support like an athletic shoe. It also grips the floor when you need it to, but has an area that doesn’t grip that allows you to do spins without sticking to the floor and twisting your knee. Also provides great shock absorption. These shoes always have to be ordered one size bigger than you usually wear as they run small.

This shoe is amazing! Especially for zumba classes! Great arch support and so comfortable. You will love them. The only thing better than these shoes is Zappos.com. Their customer service, shipping, and prices can not be beat. It is my favorite place to shop!

The Bloch Boost DRT Mesh Sneaker is great I wear them for line dancing. Spins, pivots, turns and glides are perfect. They are very comfortable.I had to order my street size which is a size 11.I get a lot of compliments.The one thing is I'm not sure how to care for them there should be care instructions for them. They are pricey but worth the money. Zappos customer service is the greatest I ordered three different pairs of dancing shoes and kept two but this one was the best for my line dancing. I had no problem with my return and exchange thanks again Zappos!

Finally! I have found the best fitting dance/aerobic shoe. It has been a long search. My feet are a little wide, "D" width, and it has been very challenging finding a well designed/good fitting shoe. I especially want to thank and commend Zappos on being so patient with me. I had to return 2 pairs of shoes that didn't fit right. Zappos has to be the #1 mail-order company I have personally ever had the pleasure of dealing with. They make my returns as simple as breathing, no complications or hassles. I am so happy to have finally found the right dance/aerobic shoe that I ordered another pair tonight in pink. The only thing you need to know about these shoes is to order them at least 1/2 size larger than your normal sneaker size. Enjoy...these shoes help you swivel and turn, swirl on the dance floor with style.

I purchased these to use for a Latin Heat class I am taking at the gym that includes a lot of dance moves. These are exactly what I needed and allow me to master the dance moves much easier.

Love these shoes. Based on other reviews and my wide (D) foot, I got size 8 rather than my usual 7 1/2. They fit perfectly. The shoe is light & flexible in the right places; yet gives stabilizing support - a perfect combination. It feels like the shoe gives you energy off the floor for the dance workout.Very pleased and that goes for the usual prompt & courteous service from Zappos. You can't go wrong with Zappos. They make returns so easy.

These are not walking/running shoes. I use them for Zumba classes, shoes are comfortable and the best part is when I am twisting. It was very slippery on the floor for couple of weeks. I suppose just because it was new but it is fine now. The shoes look small but they are not really that small. I got my size and with socks it is a good fit.

Absolutely great for dancing zydeco. Danced on a brick floor with no problems and felt like I was dancing on air! Great support and flexibility. The neuroma in my foot barely hurt! Highly recommend them! I ignored the others who said to buy a full size larger and had to send them back and get an 11 instead of a 10.

I love these shoes. I did have to get a size 10. I normally wear and 8 1/2 double wide. These only come in medium width but they are fine. Zappos has such a great return policy and their phone crew is so friendly and helpful. I wouldn't buy shoes anywhere else.

I feel like I lucked out with these shoes and they fit my feet (long toes, tapered foot, high arch, wide forefoot, narrow heel) perfectly, which is rare. I've tried a lot of dance sneakers and this is my favorite, hands down. Stable and supportive, but also responsive and light perfection.

I wish I had these shoes when I took kick-boxing. My feet, ankles and knees would kill me, and I had to quit, even though I really liked the class. I got these shoes for Zumba, and I love them! The steps are so much easier with the split sole. I can't even imagine taking the class without these shoes. Just make sure to get a whole size bigger.

I was about to give up Zumba due to the pain on my ankle which was horrendous. I am so happy because these shoes have made the pain go away and I can enjoy Zumba.

These are the best shoes for everything! I wear them to Zumba in and I wear them to work. I am on my feet a lot and they offer awesome support! I'm getting an extra pair so I can have one for home and that I can leave in my locker at work. Comfy!
