I ordered a full size larger than I normally wear based on the other reviews and they are a little loose but fine with socks. Incredibly pleased with the service from Zappos. Ordered on a Tuesday and delivered two days later.

Great tap shoes! These were recommended by her dance school as the best tap shoe to purchase. Sizing is tricky. My daughter is a size for in kids shoes but after reading the reviews, I purchased a 6 1/2. They are slightly big on her which is great, because she has room to grow!

These shoes are great. I had to exchange for a whole size larger but now they fit perfect.

My daughter really likes these tap shoes. It took us a while to get the right size, as they seem to run small, but we are both very happy with them. Good tap sound.

This is my first pair of tap shoes. The ones I originally got were 8.5 and they were way too small, even though I wear a 7.5 in Clarks and 8.5 sneakers. So I exchanged them for a 9.5 which seems about right. I have wide feet and it is too bad these only come in Medium. (Zappos customer service is awesome - they shipped the replacement overnight!) I think the taps were a bit noisier on the first pair but these will be fine - possibly they need to loosen up. Noisy is the point of tap shoes! Anyway, I am having great fun with them. And I would not have thought of buying tap shoes without Zappos, since my ballet shoes are from our local store and they only have tap shoes for little kids. There are actually several choices here!

I got my shoes and fell in love with them. They are a comfortable fit, the leather on the shoe is soft but what got me the most is the sound of the taps! I love the way the taps sound, very crisp and clean is the best way I can describe it! I also bought the shoes one size up then I usually wear, I gave a size 10 so I bought an 11 and they fit perfectly. I am very pleased.

My daughter absolutely loved having this as her tap shoe for dance class last year. She is very picky & it took us forever to find a shoe that met her requirements: comfortable and pretty. After trying on literally dozens of other shoes, we found this one and it is perfect! The matte finish, slightly elevated heel & slightly pointed toe made her feel very grown up compared to other tap shoes that are patent leather with no heel and rounded toe. And the cute little buckle is really more of just a slide - no little stick to fit in the holes - so it's super easy to put on & take off. A winner all around! We'll definitely buy this shoe again in the next size up for next year's dance class!

These shoes are fine, but they run a full 2 sizes too small. I wish I had known that before ordering. My daughter wears a size 4 sneaker, but a size 6 in these tap shoes.

Runs very small - I'm normally a size 5 but ordered a size 6, which fits but is still very tight. Could have gone with a 6.5 instead.

These are excellent shoes! Please order one size larger than your street shoe. I wear a size 9 Bloch tie tap shoe, but needed a 10 in these!

Purchased tap shoes for daughter, granddaughter and myself...all were too small. Exchanged them for a full size larger, and they fit perfect. Unsure why sizing was so different, even for children, but we are tall girls. Great return policy. Enjoy.

First pair of tap shoes and I love them! As far as sizing goes...I wear an 8 street shoe. I can wear an 8 1/2 sometimes without it feeling too sloppy. I ordered up a size to a 9. My big toe rubbed on the shoe. It wasn't horrible, but I figured my feet would swell a bit while dancing. Exchanged for a 9 1/2 and they are great! (Tiny large on on foot, but it plan on wearing sock anyway.) Love them!

Great basic tap shoes, buy them at least one size larger than you normally would. (I take a 9, I bought a 10.)

A great shoe with the perfect heel height. It is important to note that when buying Bloch taps, you generally want to buy a size up from your street shoe size. If this doesn't work for you, at least you won't pay shipping on returns and the turnaround is super fast.

I love this shoe. I just wish it was made in my size! I wear an 11.5 street shoe, and this 12 was too small. Looks to be very well made though, and pretty too.

I purchased these for a beginner tap class. I had not taken dance in over 25 years. I followed the recommendation to order one size up and that worked out great. The shoes are comfortable and arrived quickly!

I started out wearing Bloch tap shoes as a young girl. I have tried (and have) many different styles and brands. These are my favorite! I loosen the buckle one to two notches so I can slip in and out of them. Many people say they are a beginner shoe. I think they are great for all levels. I taught tap for 14 years and this is what I wore.

The Block Mary Jane Tape Shoes are my first tap shoes ever. These tap shoes are the most comfortable shoes I own. I was told to get one size larger than my street shoes, and tried on a pair at a local store before ordering from Zappos. This is also my first time using Zappos and I was not disappointed.

My 12 year daughter has flat feet and it is so hard to find comfortable dancing shoes. She loved these shoes as they have some extra support. I ordered a size bigger and the fit was perfect.

My mother bought my daughter a pair of these and they were a huge success, so when she outgrew them I had to buy the same. It is worth paying for these genuine leather tap shoes, she says they are super comfortable, they look great (she says they look like her teacher's ones) and my daughter had no trouble with blisters (she often does with new shoes). They run small, she is a size 3.5 and I bought her size 5.5 and they are roomy but fit fine and will last us into the next year of tap.
