What a journey! I tried 6 different brands and sizes of dance shoes (thanks Zappos) before I found these. They make a huge difference in my Zumba class. The soles don't stick and my knees don't twist. Order at least a full size up. I wear a 10 street shoe, an 11 running shoe and ended up in a 12. They do look large (duh) but not as bad as some of the other brands.

I order mine 1 size greater than my own. I am dancing away! Love these shoes. Super comfy!

Comfortable from the moment I put them on. As others have noted, they run small, so order at least a half size larger than regular shoe size. Great for Zumba.

I am very pleased with product; Capezio Canvas Dansneaker. They are so comfortable and make dancing so much more enjoyable. A few of my friends have tried mine on and they also purchased a pairfor themselves. I highly recommend them.

Great shoe... using for Zumba. Ordered a 1/2 size up, and they fit great.

I wear a 8.5 shoe, 9 running. This was perfect in a 9. I tried about 12 different pairs of recommended zumba shoes and these were the best fit but they are too slippery for my wood and vinyl floors. I could not stop my feet from sliding into a split! I think they would be excellent on carpet.

This brand is crazy small. I ordered an 11 and I usually wear a 10.5, because of the previous reviews. Guess what? Still too small. Can't wait to see how they actually work in Zumba class.

I bought these for folk dancing because of the features listed. I should have listened to others' advice regarding the sizing being small; they do seem a bit snug in the tip of toe area -- I didn't want to order a larger size as recommended because I have a narrow ankle and didn't want it slipping; I haven't returned them because I want to give them a chance to stretch out, which I am hoping will happen since they are canvas. Not sure yet what I will do about it. These are my first dance shoes.

These shoes are great for Zumba! They are lightweight so you can move around with ease. They make a difference when dancing. I'm glad I bought them. Thank you.

Best bridal sneaker! My maid of honor bedazzled them and made them sparkly and adorable. I wore them for most of my wedding reception and had the best time. I was able to dance literally the entire night. These made me enjoy my wedding so much because they were comfortable, had excellent support and everyone loved them. I was able to be on my feet and partied for hours and hours. My dress was Maggie Sottero with a little volume but not too much poof and these blended well under them.

I bought these shoes to use in zumba and hip hop exercise class. They are very comfortable and keep my feet and knees from hurting. They are good support and are also well cushioned. I did have to buy a full size larger than I normally wear.

I love my Capezio dance shoes. I purchased them half a size larger than I usually wear and they are a perfect fit. I am certain I can participate in the exercise better because of the shoes. An added bonus is that I look really cool!

Thanks to all who provided feedback; ordering a 1/2 size up was the way to go with these shoes. I'd suggest wearing a thin sock and be aware of the long shoe laces. These will be perfect for zumba; they're comfortable, lightweight and a great buy. Zappos provides great customer service!

I love the Capezio Dansneaker. I ordered one size larger than my actual shoe size like they suggested and they fit perfect and they are very comfortable. I wear them for my zumba class and they are wonderful. My feet slide so much better and no longer have to worry about twisting my ankle or knee. The also have a very nice arch support.

Shoes are very comfortable and you do need to purchase at least a half size larger than normal size. Shipment was fast.

My granddaughter was very satisfied with the shoes. She is in poms and the coach recommended them. They arrived promptly and would order again from you.

Comfortable, flexible, breathes. I have a wide foot, size 4E and these have enough give that I can wear it comfortably for Zumba and other activity that flows better with a sole that does not stick to the floor. Just use caution, as it does slide. Listen to your body and middle ear regarding balance. This is my second pair. Each were purchased a size larger to allow for my extra width, thus those with narrower feet probably would purchase the proper size. My first has not worn out, I just want to be sure that I have another set to switch out. One is white and one is black, just because.

I bought this shoe for Zumba class and have not been disappointed. The shoe allows me to do turns and pivots, but also has good traction when needed. Regular sneakers were not allowing me to glide and were hurting my knees. If you have that problem, this is the shoe for you. I usually wear an 8.5 in sneakers, but bought a 9 in this and it fits great. I can also wear a thin sock with the shoe without feeling cramped. My only complaint about the shoe is that for some reason, the right one feels a little snug around the ankle and, I think, without socks they would irritate me. But overall, I am happy with my choice. As far as customer service is concerned, this is a great company. The sales associate was very helpful and my shoes were even delivered the next day, free of charge. I will be ordering from them again.

I love these shoes for my ballroom dancing lessons and a long evening of dancing. My feet never ache. I did order the next size up like they suggested. Perfect!

Perfect dance sneaker for wide feet - This is the only dance sneaker that feels good on my wide feet. Canvas fabric has just the extra give to make a medium width shoe work. Good support without any excess weight. A great choice, but do order at least a full shoe size larger. I usually wear a 7 to 7 1/2 shoe, and the 8 1/2 worked in this style.

Most comfy canvas I have ever worn - I am not a "sneaker" person, I usually avoid wearing them because for one they are hot and to me uncomfortable, however, these are absolutely wonderful, breathable and the pair I put on more than any when wanting absolute comfort. My arches love this pair of sneakers. If you have touchy sensitive arches, I highly recommend you try these!! My feet tend to lock up from hard arch support shoes and or arches in general in most sneakers, not these, very natural. Buy 1/2 size bigger because they do run short if you have a longer foot.

I've had this pair for the past 5 years! I have been dancing high impact, multi-directional folk dance in these shoes (with orthotics) for the past five years. They've held up beautifully and I'm thrilled to purchase them again....would not want any others!

These are extremely comfortable. I went up a 1/2 size, and that was perfect. They were a bit slippery until I roughed up the bottoms a bit - very good for Zumba pivots.

I bought this shoe because I love the dance classes at my gym. Theses shoes make it easier to move your feet than a regular work out sneaker.
