I ordered one size up as recommended by the reviews, and found it to be perfectly comfortable given the fact that I wear these with thick socks. These shoes give my feet support, especially at the arch and allow for good circulation during my Zumba classes. They are light weight, which is great for dancing and other aerobic exercises.

I'm ordering a second pair of these. The first pair lasted about 3 years with the addition of a new insole at one point. They have to be the ugliest shoes I've ever worn, but they are wonderful for Zumba and my knees no longer bother me because of torque. I have a narrow foot and the lacing system is great. Worth every penny!

First day wearing them. I ordered one size up and they feel good. Toe box is wide enough even though they appear to be tiny. I bought them b/c they look good and balanced-they look good on the foot, hug the arch, which i like. Feels like arch support; time will tell. I actually bought them for working as I don't have to go into wet places to get to work. Very comfortable and light so far. It feels like it is short and possibly could have added another half size... hope I don't regret.

I have danced for almost 20 years (ballroom, jazz, show dance) and have been through my share of dance shoes and this one is a solid choice. Despite the manufacturer's suggestion to order up at least half a size, I stuck with my regular size and they fit just fine (even though I have rather wide feet). The sole is good for turning and I like that it is parted which allows me to point my toes. Depending on the dance floor they can be a bit slippery though. My only complaint would be that one of the seems has opened up (after one year of moderate use). Fixable, but a bit disappointing - most of my dance shoes lasted 3 years before they started to show real wear. Also not loving the style, somehow they look a bit bulky on my feet. Don't really care, since I bought them for comfort, just saying.

Perfect for Zumba Gold classes, I feel much more energized wearing these. They were comfortable right out of the box. I did order half a sizes larger, which was needed.

I had to send the shoes back and get a full size longer than what I normally buy, They run extremely narrow. Love the flexibility in the sole.

I considered the more expensive version of this shoe but since I didn't buy it I can only say that this one does the job. I also listened to prior reviews and bought 1/2 a size bigger. Some of them said buy 1 size bigger but since I'm between sizes a 1/2 size was enough. It definitely helped my knee pain while doing Zumba. At first I had more pain in my ankles but that went away after a short break in period. I don't know if it was because of the difference in support for my knees or it just took a little getting used to. At first I was also disappointed in the stiffness of the plastic parts of the shoe but now I realize it's what's giving the shoe the most support where you need it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who uses regular running or similar shoes for dance or Zumba.

As other reviewers have noted, these run very small. Bought them for my daughter and had to size up 3 szies from her street shoes. So glad for Zappos' free shipping/return service - I put it to good use on this one! Once we got the size right, these shoes are great - comfortable and functional for dance class. My daughter loves them.

Just not comfortable. Should have ordered a half size larger. Otherwise nice shoe.

I really like these shoes. They are a true dance shoe -- lightweight and flexible, they make the turns in Zumba so much easier. I wish they came in a wide width but buying a half size larger as was recommended worked okay for me.

I wear a size 6 1/2 normally, and bought these in 7 1/2. These shoes make dancing zumba much easier. Turning, sliding, and pivoting is much easier with these shoes than with regular gym shoes. They still don't slip and slide as easily as I'd like, but I think it's due more to the studio floor than the shoes. I used them for Zumba at home, and they work great on carpet. My only complaint is that they sometimes make the arch of my right foot hurt, but after yesterday's workout, they were fine. Other shoes like Bloch Boost DRT are more expensive - these are great value for the money.

These shoes are lightweight, but provide good support. The shape is nice, not too wide or bulky looking. Good flexibility in the arch. Comfortable and great for Zumba!

Great shoe overall, but could use a little more cushion in the ball.

Purchased for Zumba class - These shoes are not as cute as I thought they would be. They are bit clunky, but better than the running shoes I was using in my Zumba class. They definitely have a slicker sole so you can move across the floor. These are dance shoes so they don't have great arch support (I have orthodics so it doesn't really matter). In hindsight, though, I wish I had bought a cuter pair. These are just so ugly.

Short, short, short! There were a lot of features I liked about this shoe. It was one of the few I've tried that had enough room in the toe box, where many dance sneakers are cut too narrow, even for my medium to narrow foot. I also really liked the lacing system on this shoe, which is designed both to prevent tongue slippage as well as to provide lateral support. However, this shoe runs ridiculously short. After reading the reviews here on Zappos I ordered a full size larger than my usual 7 and my toe hit the end. So I returned them and ordered an 8 1/2, and they were STILL too short with my toe hitting the end! There was also a lot of squishiness in the upper part of the shoe (the tongue and upper seem quite padded), which gave this shoe a sloppy and un-sleek feel on my feet. Adding to the sloppy feel was the loose insert that comes with the shoe. It crumpled under my arch when I moved my feet in certain ways and was really distracting. It's a good-looking shoe, but with drawbacks I found insurmountable.

Order UP! I ended up with 2 sizes larger than my street shoe. Luckily with Zappos FABULOUS return policy and methods, I was able to get the shoe I needed to continue teaching 6 classes per week!

Good but the fit - Initially ordered 1/2 size larger than I typically wear due to other reviewer’s comments. I usually wear an 8 M or in some cases, particularly open toed shoes, 7 1/2 M. The 8 1/2 in this shoe was too short so returned them for 9 and now too big in the toe area but only a hair bit longer. I then put full insoles in and that has helped a great deal. Not perfect but works. The service experience with Zappos, however, seems to be the gold standard that all businesses should strive for!

Runs small - I noticed significant improvement with my performance in my Zumba class. This shoe also eliminated pain associated with sharp, quick turns.

Dance Sneaker - Zappos is extremely efficient! This was my first purchase and I had to exchange the shoe due to a sizing issue. They made the exchange stressless. I needed to buy this shoe a full size and a half larger.

Shoes made for dancing!! I take hip hop classes and never realized that the shoe makes the girl :) Now I can spin like a champ and I move more like a dancer. The support is GREAT. I purchased one size larger than my normal street size, thanks to other reviews, and they fit perfectly.

Interesting dance shoe - I use this shoe for Jazzercise and I found I sometimes slide. The sole needs to have more gripping power. I do, however, find it an interesting shoe for dance.

Even at 1 1/2 sizes larger than specified, shoe was too short and too narrow. Opted to go with Bloch brand. It's wider, but still need to order two sizes larger than you normally wear.

Extremely short! Had to return. Looks like a good shoe but because it was so short,my husband could not even begin put the shoe on.
