I wear a 7.5 wide street shoe and after some experimenting, found that the size 9.5 shoe in this model was perfect. It's super comfortable for ballroom practice, though a suede soled shoe would probably be better for salsa.

So far so good! Bought these for line dancing. I noted instructor wearing them....and they work great. I did go up 1/2 size from my normal and that is just right.

Perfect dance shoe! My daughter is on her High school dance team and needed new dance shoes in a pinch! To my amazement Zappos had the exact dance shoe, we normally had to purchase from a specific dance company, that mind you, took over a week to receive! Zappos saved the day ?? with one day FREE shipping. I'm so glad I checked Zappos inventory. (Dance shoes should always be ordered a 1/2 size up from street shoe size)!

Just got mine today. I'm glad I read the reviews first and ordered half a size up. I'm usually a size 5 for dress shoes, and size 5.5-6 for sneakers. I ordered a 6.5, and it feels just right. When I line it up with my other sneakers, it is almost exactly the same length as a 5.5 sneaker, and about 1" shorter than the size 6. The sole is slippery and will take getting used to, but I love the way it looks, and the tightening-with-one-pull feature is super nice!

I really like these dance shoes and actually already own a pair. So I was disappointed when the quality of this pair was not up to the standard of my first pair. The lacings on both shoes were skewed and did not feel right. I am disappointed that I have to return them.

Fun, stylish and easy to wear. These shoes are a pleasure to wear on non-dance surfaces. No aches or pains!

I normally wear a 7 1/2, but ordered a 9 based on other reviews. A dancer friend told me that dance shoes are notorious for running small. The 9 fits fine, maybe a bit large, but fine with socks. I bought these for Zumba and possibly for other dance classes. They are very comfortable and allow me to turn easily. I have great flexibility with the split sole. I gave them 3 stars for style because, as great as they are, they are not attractive! NOTE: I find them too slick on the bottom to wear outside of the dance studio.

I wear an 114A street shoe and have a flexible arch, otherwise known as a flat foot. Ii have searched and searched for a Zumba and dance aerobic shoe. The size 12 Capezio Dansneaker is the best fit by far. Even though they are labeled medium, they work well with a narrow foot. Unlike Bloch's they do not require a high arch. If you want a good dance sneaker and haven't yet tried these, I recommend that you do so.

These are awesome dance shoe for Zumba! They are comfortable, but sturdy. They have great soles for sliding. They run small, I take a size 7, but had to order an 8½! Zappos customer service and return policy cannot be beat!

Although I am definitely not a dancer, these shoes are great for Zumba on gym wood floors. Comfortable on first wearing.

I'm a Zumba instructor and this is my third pair of Capezio dance shoes, but my first pair of Fierce. They're excellent! Comfort, padding and just enough slide on the floor. Order 1/2 size up! They're easy to lace, they don't come loose, and feet never hurt.

I absolutely always wear size 6½. I did not believe the other reviews so I ordered both size 6½ and 7½. I kept the 7½, and returned the 6½. You can trust the reviews, you will need a larger size than you normally wear. So far, I like the shoes for Zumba.

These are great shoes. They are perfect for Zumba. Unlike the recommendations and other reviews, I suggest ordering your street size. I ordered a size up to begin with but it was way too large. These shoes provide great arch support and comfort while dancing.

This is THE perfect shoe to wear for cardio dance and aerobics classes! But the size of this shoe is deceptive, so buyer beware when selecting the size to buy. I suggest you buy a full size larger than you normally wear. I wear size 7 1/2 narrow. I bought a size 9 and it fits well because I wear socks with this shoe. I probably could also wear a size 8 1/2. Although this shoe is a medium width, it is narrow, so it fits my narrow foot. I did not find any narrow Dansneakers on zappos.com, so I was happy that this one runs narrow. The arch support is great. The flexibility of the sole and the lightness of the shoe make it ideal to wear to my cardio dance class. I am so happy with this shoe that I recommended it to my friends at cardio dance class. At my first cardio dance class, I discovered that you can't wear running shoes to cardio dance class because they lack flexibility, they are heavy, and more importantly, the tread is so deep that it makes dance moves hazardous. So I hopped onto zappos and found this Dansneaker. Given my size (7 1/2 narrow), I was surprised to find a shoe that works for me. Yeah!

Love! My street shoes are a man's 9 (11 women's) with a little wiggly room extra for comfort, but for these a 10 and 1/2 are perfect. Proper length is important to hold feet snug and in position for dancing. These glide nicely and are saving my knees in dance class.

After three tries I finally got the right fit (thanks to Zappos free shipping both ways). This shoe runs one whole shoe size too small so I had to order a 6 1/2 when I wear a 5 1/2. I love the great padding around the ankle. This offers good support for Zumba Fitness and other dance forms.

These shoes are very supportive for your arches and are very flexible and light for dancing. I normally order a 6 and 1/2 size shoe and ordered a 7 following the manufacturers recommendation of a half size bigger. They fit perfect! I have plenty of toe room for a sport type polyester sock. They slide on the dance floor just fine but are not overly slippery. I love them, very well made and form fitting. My heels do not hurt in these.

These shoe definitely make doing Zumba easier! I was wearing regular tennis shoes for awhile, and then after seeing so many people buying these, I decided to give them a try. I was amazed at how much easier it was to do all the Zumba moves. The shoes fit comfortably, except that after a little while, the side of my foot starts to hurt a little bit - maybe I need to break them in more. I listened to other reviews and ordered a half size up from my regular shoe size, and turned out to be the right size.

I use this shoe exclusively for Zumba and the fierce Dansneaker has more support than my previous Capezio dance shoe. No breaking in period at all, comfortable from the start. I did have to order up a full size.

Be advised that while these shoes are awesome for my Zumba class, they do run very small. I normally wear a size 5 1/2 - 6, but a size 7 in this shoe is what finally fit properly. Very comfortable and easy to move about in. And Zappos has the absolute BEST customer service ever!

Because of the previous reviews, I chose the right size. I usually wear an 8 medium and ordered a size 9, instead, which fit a little snug at first. Once I broke them in, they fit great. It has just enough grip when executing a dance. Will get another pair for backup!

Excellent dance shoe - Love the shoe. Had to order 1 1/2 sizes larger than my street shoes. When the first pair didn't fit, Zappos was fantastic (as usual) with returns and getting the new size to me right away.

Dance sneakers for NIA - I needed some dancing shoes and these were recommended. I bought a whole size bigger and that worked for me. I have a wide foot across the base of the toes and I was worried these wouldn't work. I have been happy in NIA class getting support and the flexibility of this shoe.

Capezio fierce dance sneaker - Ordered this pair in size 1 1/2 and it was the smallest shoe in this size I've ever seen. My daughter wears a European 32 and we had to order 34.5. Even that size was a bit small.

Capezio's dance shoe - I needed to buy 1 1/2 sizes larger. Zappos was terrific about getting the larger size out to me immediately.
