I love community theater, and needed new character shoes for a role I was playing. Zappos had them, right size color, style and they came in amazing time. Thanks Zappos. I am a very happy dancing Nun!

My daughter loved these - they were comfortable from the moment she put them on & they were extremely easy to dance in. You do need to order these shoes in a half size larger than your normal street shoe size.

I was looking for tap shoes, and these are perfect. (They do not come with taps, however. You need to buy them at your local shoe repair.)

I was really unsure about these shoes when I read the reviews saying that they felt more narrow than they said. I normally have issues finding shoes because they aren't wide enough. These, however, were perfect! They fit wonderfully and looked great. I'm considering getting a second pair just to wear as dress shoes.

I wish I would have read the reviews before I purchased these shoes. They do run a size smaller. And I need them for work but thankfully they ship your order and I received them in 2 days and that really helps. Other than that I really enjoy this store.

Thank you so much! It has taken months to get the right fit and I am grateful to Zappos for being patient, fast and free shipping! What more can you ask for? My wear 7.5 wide, usually. Had a lot of trouble fitting, but found the wide in this shoe to fit me nearly perfect. The right toe box is slightly tight and I added pads for my high arch. First day wearing them and I don't feel like cutting off my feet half way through the day! I also tried them on last night while my feel were swollen from day's end.

I love these. They look great, feel great, and the size is true to expectations. I take a 6 1/2 D and couldn’t be more pleased.

I couldn't be happier with the shoes or service from Zappos. The shoes fit perfectly. I'm a very hard fit and these are extremely comfortable. I normally wear a size 10.5 wide and I ordered these in an 11 wide. I needed them for stage dancing and performance. I often forget I have them on. They are that comfortable. They also look great! The service from Zappos was amazing. The shoes arrived the day after ordering. The customer service was prompt, professional, and personal. I couldn't be more pleased with the shoes and the service. Thank you Zappos!

As suggested I ordered one size larger in the wide width. They fit perfectly. Great shoe and very light for dancing, etc. Was happy to find the color I wanted also.

These shoes work perfectly as graduation shoes. I brought these shoes for convocation when my daughter had to wear caps and gown and they were the perfect heel height for her. They made her legs look slim and elegant. And they were so comfortable.

I've had good success with Capezio in the past, and I ended up buying both colors of these shoes (tan and black) for some performances coming up. In doing this I can personally testify to the quality of Zappos return service! I read all the comments and ordered a half-size larger than my usual size. The narrow width is perfect for my skinny feet. As far as length was concerned, they did fit, barely, but I thought they wouldn't be comfortable for three hours. So I returned them and ordered a full size larger. The exchange went without a hitch! I do like these shoes; I don't know that they'd last long if I wore them on a day-to-day basis, but for specialized use they'll be fine. The heel is very comfortable for me. Although they're not fashion-forward, they're classic, going with many types of costumes without calling attention to themselves. I've put some gel insoles in mine for extra comfort, but I do that with nearly all my shoes.

Dance Shoes - My daughter needed these shoes for a dance recital. She said they were very comfortable and easy to dance in - but would never wear them for anything but dance!

Dancing with the Stars... My husband and I started ballroom dancing lessons lately. These have been the perfect starter shoes for our new hobby. Comfortable right out of the box. Although ready for taps, they can also have a suede sole put on them for ballroom work. Buy 1 whole size up as suggested by other reviewers and it will work out for you. Very comfortable and supportive for someone needing narrow heels and a wider toe box. And better still, these didn't break the bank! Zappos, I love you and your overnite deliveries!

Nice stage shoe - I had to get a pair of black pumps for my choir uniform. I'm a student, so my budget is pretty limited, and I've got big (and wide) feet, which makes it even harder to find shoes. My first thought was character shoes, and these fit the bill perfectly. I ordered my street size and width, and they fit just great. They're comfortable, especially for heels, and look really good. My only wish is that the upper were actual leather... but it's not due more to my price range than the shoe. It would also be nice if the strap were just a touch wider. They're definitely not a street shoe, but they're really nice to dance in and move around the stage. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing shoes of this sort.

Danced all night - I bought these shoes for a dance cruise on the Queen Mary 2 from New York to France. They came just before I left and I found them very comfortable for the dance classes and nights in the ballroom. They made spinning fun!

AMAZINGLY COMFORTABLE!!! To start off with, I am not a high heel kinda girl. I'm barely a low heel kinda girl, so I was skeptical as to the comfort and support spoken of in other reviews. These shoes are wonderful. I'm not a dancer, but I've been cast in a community theater production as a Hot Box Girl and needed something with a heel to learn choreography in. I never once worried about the heel breaking on me or my arches hurting. These are easily as comfortable as my favorite sneakers. I'm thinking about buying them in another color. I did follow others' advice and ordered wider than my normal size, so go big or go home!

Orthotic Friendly/removable footbed - What a great find Tic Tac Toe shoes are. For those of us who NEED to wear orthodics, here is a reasonably priced shoe selection with some style that is, in fact, orthotic friendly. Additionally, they come in a D width. After purchase simply remove the standard lining, which is only slightly glued in place, insert your own orthodics and you are good to go. Consider a wider width if the toe bed is too tight on the width you normally wear.

Great shoes - We wear this type shoe when singing in Sweet Adelines, Int. I also used to wear them square dancing. They are so very comfortable! And I love to have no shipping charge.

Finally, a narrow tap shoe! I have had trouble for 15 years finding narrow width tap shoes for my girls. These fit the bill/(foot)! We've never had one that also had the padded insole. This is a great value!

These are perfect - After trying on a series of dressy shoes, I finally decided to try these. They are perfect. Going on previous reviews, I ordered an 11 instead of 10-1/2, and am completely happy. The heel is exactly the right height (I am tall), they are flattering to the leg, they are comfortable, and I see no problem with wearing them in everyday life, not just on the stage. I wish Capezio would make these in about a dozen more colors--and that other manufacturers would take some hints from Capezio on how to make a really comfortable and pretty shoe.

Great For a Wedding! My daughter searched and searched for some white wedding shoes she could dance in! We finally thought to look for actual dance shoes and these are available in white! They are perfect and in a good range of sizes and she loves them!!! They ought to show them in the wedding area as well!

I tried on a similar shoe at a local dance shoe store, but needed a larger size which the store did not have. I saw these on line and want to say that shoes are of a good quality and the price is much more reasonable than my local store. I ordered 1/2 size up and if you expect to wear anything thicker than nylon hose then maybe you should consider ordering a full size up. I need to return mind only because I thought they were the regular dance shoes, but they're the ones you add your own heels and taps.

Really disappointed. The shoes were very comfortable but felt about a half to full size smaller than marked. On the black pair, the right shoe was perfect but the left was short even though they were both marked 10W. Now, the larger sizes are not available. Had to wait over a week to get them too! :(
