Great fit for narrow feet -
I wear a 10 AA and finding a narrow waterproof boot is really hard. A Zappos representative checked and found out that Asolo runs narrow. I decided to try a 1/2 size smaller and it fits perfect with a thin or heavy sock. I tried a 10 on at a store in town and it was too big without the heavy sock. So glad I decided to get the 9 1/2.

4th Asolo Boot I've owned -
This is the 4th pair of Asolo's I've owned over the last 15+ years. I love the fit. No blisters at all, right out of the box. I wear a thin sock liner plus a heavier sock. I tend to have thinner feet also, and these work well for me. I think they're made on a female foot last, rather than a man's last, so they seem to fit better than most women's boots (which are just really small men's shoes).
I wear orthotics, and you can remove the innersole and replace with your own.
This is the first fabric type boot, so I'll be interested in the ankle support long term. So far, so good.
I beat my shoes to death hiking; usually wear out the soles long before the uppers. The toe guard on this one looks to extend wear also.
I'd never wear another brand's hiking boot!

Blisters galore -
I love the fit of these boots, but my feet get really hot in them. I'm wearing hiking socks for wicking, but my feet just stay soaked and as such my heels have paid a high price for these boots. I've been up a couple of mountains in them so far, but my heels take at least a week to recover as all the skin just sloughs off. I really think they'll be good when it's cold out, but now I'm looking at something a little more breathable.

Fantastic light hikers.
This is one of those rare boots that felt perfect the moment I put it on. I was looking for a light hiker with ankle support to fit my narrow feet. The foot bed has good arch support and it does not feel sloppy near the ball of my foot. I took these boots out of the box for a week hiking in Utah and had no troubles whatsoever. They are light with a bit of flex in the sole. The sole is grippy with excellent traction. Even while hiking through water and sand, they would grip when climbing rock. I wore the same sock combo that I wear with my wild land fire boots: a sock liner with a light/medium weight hiking sock and had no problems with blisters.

Good Fit and Comfortable-
I got these boots after a recommendation from a hiking store employee took a look at my high arch and skinny feet. These boots fit great. I wear them all the time and love them and I am so picky. After going to the flagstaff REI store in Seattle, where they couldn't find a single boot that really fit me well, I felt pretty discouraged. I wandered into a little store in Port Townsend looking at their Vasque collection. My old standby was Vasque. I had never tried Asolo. I do always add my own footbed, one with a solid arch support. Asolo is my new old standby! I could buy 10 pair of these boots and just wear them out for the rest of my life and be quite happy. Unless they make them with a built-in GPS unit, these boots as they are will certainly suffice my needs for hiking and walking the Doberman in the fields.
I'd also recommend:

Great hiking boots -
I am really liking these boots. They are very comfy but without excessive cushion which I've found to make other hiking boots sloppy on the downhill. They've been stiff and stream line enough to fit in little pockets of rock for climbing up short rocky sections. They have good arch and ankle support. I just wish they had Vibram soles.
