comfort - Shoes were very comfortably the very first time I wore them and didn't have to break them in.

Comfortable! These have been the most comfortable shoe from the moment I put it on. I can't believe how they felt. I would highly recommend these shoes to anyone.

Not just a running shoe - Never knew a shoe could be this cushiony-comfy and lightweight AND stylish! Colors are vibrant and are the perfect go-with-anything neutral. I don't run but need a good shoe for hoofing around unfamiliar cities, airports etc as I and my fellow DMB freek have some Dave Matthews Band concerts scheduled--st of the '04 tour--d can't possibly miss them due to tired feet! Great shoe, great price!! Thanks~ I searched high and low and then found zappos :-)

Awesome! I heard about Ryka shoes and how they were cut to fit a woman's foot years ago...but these are my first pair. I walk at a local track at least 5-6x a week for 30-60 minutes so I needed something that was supportive and comfortable. I usually wear a size 11 and I found that my toes felt cramped and started to hurt after a while of walking. Therefore, I purchased these Ryka's in a size 12--perfect fit for a work-out shoe! I have room in the front and have enjoyed my work-outs in comfort and style! I highly recommend this shoe!

Don't Pass Up These Shoes! These shoes are wonderful! I received my pair earlier in the week and have run in them 3 times without any problems. They are extremely comfortable & I'd recommend them to anyone. I did a research project on Ryka when I was in college in the late '90's and was so impressed that I purchased several pairs for my mother and myself. However, in the last couple years I haven't been able to find them in any stores, so I was so happy to find them on Zappos...and in a Wide width, too!

A little bit of heaven - To find a shoe that actually makes you feel like you are walking on air is wonderful. I have problems wih my feet so walking can be painful but with this particular runner my problem has vanished. I highly recommend that you try it for that spa feel for your feet. I would like to know where I could purchase more of this product in Canada. Found this style in the Shoe Company bought they do not carry this line. Any store in the greater Toronto area that carry's this product I would shop at.

Wonderful running shoes! I love Ryka sneakers, they are fantastic! I've never had an athletic shoe fit so well right from the get-go as I have with Ryka. I've had sevral pair of their aerobic shoes since I do impact aerobics, and they are great. These running shoes are near perfect: they fit my wide foot (I ordered the wide width), they give me great stability and also the extra cushion I need to protect my knees from the pounding of running on a treadmill. I put them on and ran for 30 mn and they were supremely comfortable-no breaking in! The only thing is that they only come in one color, but they also are a sharp looking shoe for casual wear. Great quality for about $75 less than most running shoes. Highly recommend!

This shoe is okay - I wanted a Ryka shoe for my Jazzercise class. This one is described by the manufacturer as a running shoe. Zappos.com didn't have any styles of Ryka for aerobics. It seems to perform okay. Would prefer an aerobics shoe.

Running Scared - I tried two different sizes to make sure I got it right, but neither pair provided me with the comfort I need. I injured my foot running recently, and I just can't risk running in shoes that aren't right for me, or I'd be... running scared. That's why I'm returning my (beautiful) Ryka Solaces.

Ryka is the best - I always loved Ryka sneakers but found it hard to find in stores in wide width. They are the best in sneakers. Easy on the back, foot and just in everything. I walk on the treadmill and was having trouble with my back. This sneaker just works even with all my back and foot problems.

Great sneaker! This is my first time to ever even try on a Ryka and I am very impressed with the fit. My heel is supported, the ball of the foot has comfort and the ankle fits nicely in the cut-outs. I do a lot of high energy aerobics/walking and find this shoe comfortable for my needs.

Looking good in Virginia! I stand on my feet 6-8 hours daily, and have always loved the comfort of Easy Spirit athletic shoes. I decided to try something a little "younger" looking, and have been wearing these for several weeks. They look good and are reasonably comfortable, but I must say that I had to add additional cushioning to make them feel as good as the Easy Spirit shoe. When I was younger, I valued "looks" over "comfort", but now I am wiser and go for the comfort level!

I have worn Ryka's for years - Comfortable and consistently good Ryka quality is certainly evident. I would suggest ordering a half size larger, necessary if you use orthotics or insoles.

I had bought the exact style prior for running and they fit great from the start. It's taking me some time to break my new ones in, however, which is somewhat disappointing. I'm not sure if it's a minor stitching difference that's causing the blisters or what?? I imagine, though, that in a couple more weeks they should ready to complete my 4 day/week 4 mile run.

Sensible shoes - These are great shoes..very comfy and my feet dont ache as much @ the end of the day (I work in a hospital/12hr shifts)

I got these to use in step aerobic classes. Very comfortable. Not quite the ankle support I was hoping for but they still work great. They run a little small so order at least a half size larger than you would normally wear. I wear a 5 and got these in 5.5 - they fit perfectly.

Great running shoe - This shoe is very comfortable and great looking. I run on a treadmill 5-6 days a week, and this shoe handles it very well. I would definitely buy it again. Order a half size larger.

Very comfortable - I had to get a wider width and half size larger than usual, but overall I love this sneaker. This is the second pair I own.

Not originally designed for wide feet - The shoes are cool looking and fairly comfortable but you can tell they were not originally designed for wide feet.

Great Running Shoe! This is my 3rd pair of Rykas. While not quite as "cushiony" in the ball of the foot as my last pair (model is not offered anymore), this is still a great running shoe - comfortable, light-weight and plenty of reflectors for night running. This was my first time ordering from Zappos and I was pleasantly surprised by the fast, free shipping (order came in 2 days). I will definitely look to Zappos for my next shoe purchase.

This is the first Ryka shoe I have purchased. I am not a runner but I do power walk 6 days a week. This shoe provides great arch support and a nice snug heel with plenty of cushion. It could have been a little wider across the toe area for my comfort but is otherwise true to size. I would definitely buy another pair.

Ryka - I love this running shoe. I have tried many, but I think from now on I am going to continue to get this one. It is very comfortable especially after I put in a better insole which is what I have to do with all of the shoes that I buy. These shoes definitely fit my foot better then any other shoe.

Good running shoe--I do actually run in them... I have foot problems and wear orthotics. I did have to buy 1/2 size larger and wide with, but, they are great; really, not much of a break-in period. Great price.

Running shoes - The previous reviews were ambiguous re running shoe sizes. I get confused about "true to size" because a running shoe SHOULD be bigger than my "normal size". Most runners buy shoes 1/2 or 1 size larger than their street shoes. I recommend reminding runners of this fact in the product presentation.
