This shoe is great! I bought 2 pairs, one size 5.5 and one size 6. Both pairs are just what I want them to be. I wear a 5.5 shoe as an everyday shoe, so I bought this pair for bumming around...WONDERFUL!!! Really cushy!!! The other pair was bought to walk/run in and they work like a champ!!! And everyone in my "walking" group loves the look of them. Thanks...

Ryka - I've been wearing Ryka for years and I love them. I have a lot of trouble with my feet due to bunions and the need for maximum cushioning and support. I've worn several styles of Ryka's and they have all worked very well for me. Zappos always have them available in my size (currently a 12), they have good prices and their service can't be beat. I hardly ever write reviews so this is an earnest one.

My Perfect Shoe - The shoe is the most comfortable I've ever had on my feet; with plenty of cushion for long walks and runs. I love it!!

It Fits!! A great shoe for walking! It really fits my foot - I have a wide duck foot in front and a narrow heel and have had a problem finding a shoe to fit well. No more sliding problems with this one!

This is the second pair of Ryka Solace's I have purchased. The reasons are; they are lightweight and very comfortable, I can wear them all day and my feet never feel tired. I can find my size at Zappos because they do not carry many women 5- 5 1/2 in the stores, and you can't drive around looking for the right shoes now days when you can get them delivered so fast and returns are very easy! A perfect shoe for busy people!

I have been wearing men's athletic shoes for ever because a woman's 11.5 is a near impossibility. The Ryka had been recommended by several friends including fellow nurses for work shoes. These are as comfortable as my favorite SAS work shoes with the bonus of an added bounce in my step. Also, the heel is a much better fit then men's shoes. I bought the size 12 and am very pleased

Nice! I LOVE this shoe! It's my first Ryka experience, and definitely not my last. I have mild plantar fasciitis and some arthritic toes, so the right shoe isn't easy for me to come by. I'd read of Ryka's being "made for women's feet," Zappos sale price was sweet, and so I gave the Solace a try. I am glad that I did. They have a good balance of stability and cush and a nice look, as well. After a long period (years) of relative inactivity, I'm getting back to jogging, and these are the right shoes to inspire me. With my Ryka’s, there's no excuses about not running because I can't find a good-fitting shoe. The Solace is great right from the start - as if I'd already broken them in. I hope to get another pair, soon, so I can rotate them. I highly recommend this shoe, and of course, the wonderful selection and service at Zappos keeps me coming to the website whenever I need new shoes/boots of any kind. What a fantastic company to do business with! Zappos does it right. Thank you.

The only shoe for me - Ryka Solace sneakers are the best fitting out of any other brand for me. I have been buying this (model) for 3 years now. Love the colors and the shoe just fits perfectly. I hope they do not stop making this (model).

Great shoe for the price! I walk 4-5 miles and day and prefer using running shoes rather than walking shoes for my walks. I have been wearing Ryka’s for years, mostly the KM Stability line of shoes. Unfortunately, I had bad luck with the newest product in that line, the KM-7, so I decided to try the Solace. I have found it to be a very sturdy and stable shoe. It seems to be wearing very well. I especially like the fact that the heel strike area is made of a very durable material ("distance plus"). I usually wear out the outside areas of the heels before I wear out the shoes. The Solace, though, seems to be lasting a lot longer than the KM-5 or KM-7, my most recent Ryka’s. A note to Ryka newcomers: Ryka’s usually run a bit small. I wear a 9 or 9 1/2 dress shoe, but I always buy Ryka running shoes in 11 medium to account for my socks and the difference in Ryka's sizing!

Just ordered another pair! With my short, wide foot (and chunky body), I had problems finding a comfortable walking/athletic shoe. I suppose I've tried 7 or 8 other brands over the last 15 years. Last year, a saleswoman suggested Ryka because they design and make shoes exclusively for women and KNOW women's feet. I've had the Ryka Solace for a year and it needed no breaking in - none. I got a half size larger than usual and added a Spenco polysorb insole to take up the slack and provide a bit more arch support. Now I find them at Zappos and just ordered another pair (as well as the Spenco insole). I am SO pleased with this shoe - plenty of width, lots of heel cushion, no stress on the balls of the feet. I'll tell you this, too ... the Ryka Solace wears VERY well! It's been over a year and the shoe is going strong. I wear them all the time - even for dog agility training. I just hope Ryka keeps on producing the Solace because I'll continuing buying! One thing ... you might have to get longer shoelaces. No problem, though ... I got colored ones to things up and they worked just fine.

It is the only shoe I wear for running! I can put on new ones and never have to "break them in" with blisters and other uncomfortable things that come from new shoes. I will never purchase another exercise shoe!

Very comfortable - I run on a treadmill about 2 - 3 times a week and have been using these about 3 weeks now. They have been really comfortable right from the start. The wide front and narrow heel fits so well for my foot and there is plenty of support.

Great shoes - I love Ryka’s and the new Pink Solace, although hard to find (Thanks Zappos!), look great and are very comfortable. I walk and have trouble finding shoes that don’t hurt my feet - Ryka's are the way to go!

I own 6 pair! I own 6 pair of Ryka Solace shoes. I had plantar fasciitis and these shoes helped cure it! They're the only shoes I wore for almost a year and my heel pain is cured! I love these shoes. I buy a size larger than I usually wear in the medium width or my usual size if I buy the wide width. Love them!

I still love Ryka shoes, but these were the first I've bought that were small at the toes.

Ryka Pleases Again! You can't beat Ryka shoes for fit, comfort, and style. This is my second pair, and will be my only brand of athletic shoes in the future. The narrower proportion of the heel to the ball of the foot is just perfect for me.

Ryka Solace - Great Shoe - Typically when I buy Ryka's I buy a full size larger. They seem to run smaller than other brands. But, they wear well and are very comfortable. The price here is far more affordable than in the retail stores where I have purchased this brand before. I am sold on the brand and I am sold on Zappos.

This is my fourth pair of Rykas and once again, I am extremely pleased. This shoe is very comfortable once it is broken in, which took a few days, unlike my previous pairs. Most shoes are usually too tight around my toes, but not these. However, I always need to order Rykas a half size larger than my usual size. Overall I am very happy with this shoe.

Perfect comfort and fit- This is the second pair of Ryka’s that I've own and am totally sold on the brand. The shoe box is nice and roomy and the arch is perfect. It has been a long time since I've owned such a great running shoe. I wear these to work and am on my feet most of the day. My feet never feel fatigued at the day's end.

Great Sneaker - Sneaker is very comfortable. I ordered 1/2 size larger than I normally wear, they fit great.

Ryka's Solace - This is the first time in a very long time that I have been able to purchase a athletic shoe in a 12W. The fit in the toe area has ample room and its a comfortable shoe. There are very comfortable for walking.

THE BEST!! This sneaker is the most comfortable pair that I have ever owned. I only buy Ryka sneakers now. I have tried many brands, but none have the great look and most importantly the COMFORT that I am looking for in a sneaker. I LOVE RYKA!!!!!

Great for the gym! I just joined a gym for the first time and bought this pair. The size (7) and width (W) were both true to what I expect, giving me plenty of room for the toe area (usually a problem for me). Also, the heel area was low and not too high in the back for me as I have experienced with other styles. The little tag in the back helps when pulling the shoes on, especially. Very comfortable. Great price.

Great shoe - I love Rykas and this one fits the bill. The toe box gives you plenty of wiggle room, there is great support for your athletic activities and it looks good to boot.

An awesome shoe- These sneakers are very comfortable and they look nice too. I bought them for our upcoming vacation where we will do a lot of walking, I'm sure they will work well. I would recommend them to anyone who likes to walk.
