The shoe fits right in this very comfortable. The suede like finish gets dark and even turns black. I brush it with a suede brush and parts of it still stable black.

Really liked the shoes but had to return them because they were too small. Have worn Rockports for many years and always worn 11W. This pair seemed about one half size too small. I hope to order another pair if i can get an 11.5W at the same price.

Disappointed that the color of the shoe is lighter than the picture shows. That being said, the fit is true to size and comfortable.

Color was lighter than I expected. And the shoe rides a little high on my ankle. Wore a raw spot on the outside of both ankles. Hopefully the show will loosen up, and my ankles will toughen up.

I've been wearing casual style Rockports for over 30 years and this is the first pair that lacks the quality of all the earlier shoes. While they are comfortable right out of the box and construction is impeccable, the leather is STRANGE. Easy to scuff, scratches and nicks quickly. I've worn them twice and had to polish them after each wearing. The surface finish of the leather looks to be paper thin and easily marred. Perhaps it's the HydroShield technology, but the leather surface is not at all durable. I'm not looking forward to frequent polishing to keep these shoes looking OK.

Need to replace shoe. Great shoe but right insert had uncomfortable lump and had to be returned. Hope to replace with properly made shoe.

Also, for someone that goes from their house, to their car, across the parking lot, into a carpeted office, [reverse & repeat], the heels sure seemed to wear out pretty quick. Especially for a guy who normally gets a couple years from the multiple pairs of shoes I switch across.
Comfortable, but not particularly durable. Even the laces frayed ... ?

I had to send them back. First, the color is not as dark brown as I understand dark brown. Close, but not quite. Second, the left shoe fit pretty well, but the right one put unpleasant pressure on the side of the big toe. I wore them for two days with two different types of socks. No difference-the right shoe still hurt.

I bought these shoes recently for my son. They are a nice-looking shoe.?Unfortunately, the shoes run a little big and are a bit too wide. Disappointingly, they will need to be returned.

The color is not as advertised. I ordered the dark brown, the box said dark brown, but they were more of a tan color. I can guarantee you they were not mistakenly the Espresso Nubuck, because I already have a pair of those...not the same. These were smooth tan leather.
