I've owned a pair of these Rockport shoes in Nubuck leather. The fit is great. I purposely order shoes a half size larger as I wear my shoes with insoles to help ease back problems. I wore them for two years and it was time to replace them. The Nubuck was looking pretty sad and the tread was worn so smooth that the shoes were becoming hazardous to wear during wet weather. Despite the tread being worn out, the shoes were still water proof! So about a week ago I ordered a replacement pair.

Replaced old pair of same shoes where I totally wore out bottoms flat, became very slippery but testament to shoe, rest of shoe stood test of time. Happy to order same shoe.

My hubby’s favorite shoes. He wears them every day all year, says they feel like slippers.

My husband likes the fit and look of this shoe, but the shoe seems to have a very roomy heel with plenty of space at the back of the foot. I think it looks too big but since the heel space suits him, we will stick with this size. He is fussy about his shoes and he thinks a 1/2 size smaller would be too short in the toe.

I needed a pair of black shoes for work. I do quite a bit of walking at work and needed something reasonably comfortable. They're basic and functional, but fit the bill. No complaints.
