These shoes are well made and comfortable, the reason I purchase Rockport products to begin with.

These are my third pair of shoes. They are light weight comfortable shoes. Great for office work but when it comes to the soles, that's where it lacks. The soles wears out fast.

I have bought three pairs of these shoes over the years. They look good, have stayed dry in wet weather, are comfortable and fit well. I intend to buy another pair when the ones I have wear out.

This is the third time I have bought this style shoe. I have worn out two pairs and look forward to many months with this pair. The waterproof feature is a plus

This style of Rockport, though the style name and number has changed over the years, has been my go to shoes for the office, and when I go out and am dressed casually. The comfort is wonderful, and I have yet to need to break them in. This style of Rockport I've been wearing since 1999, and has yet to let me down. I hope it never becomes discontinued. The only drawback is its soft sole. It good that it's soft for wet surfaces, so you won't slip, but the softness also causes it to wear out quickly. Quickly is wearing the shoes 10 hours/day, 3-5 days/week, over 1-1.5 years. Each time I purchase a new pair of these shoes, I immediately go to a cobbler to have heel savers installed to prolong the life of sole.

I bought these a few weeks ago. Looks very sharp and fits great. Waterproof shoes a needed bonus as well. Comfortable to wear!

I had bought a pair of these about 2000 upstate New York by an outlet store around Lake George and still have them but they are statrting to wear so I figured it was time to buy another pair, went to your website and low and behold they they were.

I have been wearing Rockports similar to this one for many years, and find it difficult to wear anything else. They are great comfortable right out of the box, and remain that way until they are worn out.

I recently bought a pair of Northfield shoes to replace a similarly styled Rockport shoe I had for years. My previous pair had worn well, were great in wet weather and were my go to shoes when traveling. My new shoes seem to be a perfect replacement.

I purchased my first pair of the Northfield shoe over a year ago and wore it every day. The exterior when new has an unpolished leather surface which is handsome and , which is every bit presentable as an Oxford. In fact as the months went by, the exterior became like polished with the every day conditions. I have walked thru puddles 3/4 inch deep with no leakage. I have walked when its raining and -same thing, dry inside. Of course on those few occasions, I stuffed newspaper in the shoe when returned home for the night. I value these Rockport shoes greatly because they are durable, handsome and presentable for a older man now, rather like a dress boot. I never have polished them, cause the leather was a tan buff surface to begin with. Short breaking in time if you wear them daily as i do. This -for me is a "go-to"pair of shoes... I have worn them with Jeans, Khakis and with slacks at times. The sole is equally a superb piece of tailoring and engineering, giving comfort from the start to the finish. Also Through the years I have bought shoes that look good, but when they are on your foot you feel everything through the sole...like small rocks even. This shoe you do not need -or want to have a insert sole, you won't feel anything ! in my way of experience, Rockport makes a fine product and do not cut corners. Last but not least, when this shoe had been worn like for a long time, I went to the website to order another pair, and at first could not pick out the same shoe (turns out they too off the "hydra Shield" insignia atop the right side of the right shoe ( and off the left side of the left shoe) see photo. So-o I reluctantly went ahead and ordered a new pair of Oxfords also named Northfields, which are Hydra-Shield treated, but which come new with a smooth leather finish. I have been wearing these every single day for 7 months, and they are still like really good and presentable (See picture 2). These shoes could be polished and would look great, but i choose to wear them without.

This is the only shoe I have been using for many years. The last store in NYC that sold them closed, and I dread the idea of having to buy them on line, so I hope Rockport doesn't change them.
