This is my second pair, purchased immediately after the first completed their well-deserved disintegration. The first pair was worn virtually constantly from May through October, including two weeks of hiking and traveling in Scotland two years ago. They are rugged beyond belief and extremely comfortable. N.B., the size designation is different from other shoes - I normally wear an 11 (US), but the 44/10 is the correct one for me in this sandal.

I have had foot problems for the last two years, these sandals are the most comfortable shoes I have found in years. I can wear them all day, before I changed shoes 3 to 4 times a day. I will certinly order more. Brian Adamson

These shoes are great for walking as long as it is not for more than a few hundred yards. Pretty soon you may notice an slight discomfort in your big toe, which will turn to intense pain after about a mile. This is caused by the sandal's strange contour, which includes an elevation, more like a bulge, around the toes. I have never worn a shoe like this. I thought maybe this was something special and would be comfortable. Not at all. If you are not in too much pain, you may hear a suction sound coming from one of the sandals. Yes, that's right. An air pocket forms beneath the arch of my right foot and causes a sound I have never heard from footwear before. It is truly an amazing thing and the people around me were laughing, they thought I was doing it on purpose. The problem is I cannot make it stop doing that. There is also the problem of the idiotic design. You cannot really tighten these shoes, there is hardly any possibility for adjustment the way they are sized. I bought the right size, but I cannot tighten them more than a centimeter without running out of Velcro or altering the padding around the ankle. They are extremely hard to detach. You have to press the plastic clip really hard and sometimes I have had to try several times, lying on my back even, trying to unfasten the clip. Even when they are off my feet it is very difficult to unfasten the clip. Also, they start to smell after a few wears. I normally expect a little more odor from sandals but nothing like this. I paid a lot of money for these. For what? They are truly junk. Trust me. I swear to you that they are not worth $20 even. Don't believe it. They do look cool though, so I say wear them for style only.

Great looking sandal, even better comfort. I can wear these shoes all day long from going to the weekend soccer and football games with the kids to working around the house. My feet feel great at the end of the day, where they were always tired wearing some lesser sandals that did not provide as much support and comfort as the Allrounders by Mephisto.

Not true to fit. About a half size too small. Nice other than that. I ordered a 47, need a 48. I wear a 14 in Allen Edmonds.
