They're still rather ugly, but I love 'em - I took the review advice and ordered a half size larger, and they fit perfectly. They are wonderfully comfortable, to the point that I can actually ignore that ugly toe cap. I used to tease my son for wearing his Keens all the time, but now I know why, so no more teasing from Mom.

Love these shoes for water aerobics - Bought these shoes for water class, love them. True size, good comfort and my teacher has a similar pair that she has worn for a long time so it seems that they hold up to chlorine and use. Told my Teenage daughter that I bought a "Cool" pair of shoes, she looked at me as if I wouldn't know cool if it bit me, but when she saw them she said, "You’re right I am kinda jealous".

Great as always! This is my fifth pair of Keens (3rd pair of H2) and I'm happy as always! I always order a half size up and am never disappointed. They are comfortable and I wear them with socks when it's cold. They are a stylish addition to anyone's closet. Go get a pair!!

Fabulous overall - Love these shoes! They were the only pair I took on a recent trip to Peru with lots of walking and stair climbing on Inca ruins. They're great with or without socks. My only complaint, which I haven't seen others mention, is that after wearing them exclusively for several days in a row, they seemed to cause drying and cracking around my heels. Not sure if it's because the back is rounded or what - but it got quite painful in Peru. The dry weather may have been a contributing factor. My daughter said she's experienced a similar problem with different shoes that have the same curved shape in the heel. Still - overall, these are incredibly comfortable.

My favorite shoe out of the Keen line. They are the most comfortable shoe I own, and because of that, I even wear them in the winter with socks!

The best shoe ever - I wore this shoe all summer to hike here in northern Arizona where the temps were 80-100 degrees and then I would jump in the river and swim in these incredible shoes and then hike some more over rocks. These are fantastic shoes and I wish I could wear them all winter in the snow. This is a truly wonderful shoe investment. I am buying a second pair just for fun.

Good shoe that needs perfected - I've bought and tried quite a few different shoes meant for water and rough terrain and the Keen Newports are the best I've worn. The toe protection is superior and the wrap around style keeps most rocks and debris out. Also amazing is the material for the soles. They grip extremely well, on sandstone I felt very secure. Also a plus, I have lower back problems and require solid arch and overall foot support. While wearing these shoes I never felt the tell-tale shooting pain of a shoe that's not supporting me. But I think the shoe could still stand to be perfected. Despite trying different sizes I never felt I had a "perfect" fit. Half-size larger was still too small and the ridges inside the shoe hit all the wrong places. The full size larger was a little too big, but it's ultimately what I chose. The slightly too-big fit meant that the strap rubbed my ankle after wearing for a solid 3 hours few hours, but never blistered. And my feet "floated" around a bit within the shoe. I'd like to see this shoe in various widths to allow for a better fit. Also, the shoes leave black stains on my feet from the dye. I thought this would go away after a couple of uses, but after 7 uses in water, still experiencing the same issue. But with that said, these are by far the best water shoe I've worn, comparing with Merrell, Salomon and Columbia brands.

Great fit - Ordered shoes half size larger as recommended--I have an AA foot, but the elastic drawstring accommodates my slim width. These are great fitting shoes--and I am very hard to fit-love them and love the funky purple color too!

I love my new shoes!!! I bought these shoes on a recommendation of a friend. We are going rafting in Grand Canyon next year and I needed something rugged but quick drying. I have been wearing them everywhere. I love them.

Great sandal for all sorts of activities - Got these for a trip to Mexico and they were great all around. Footbed was immediately comfortable. I should have worn them a bit more ahead of time because I got a few blisters from the straps, but other than that they were great.

Husband loves these sandals! I talked my husband into getting these sandals, because we were always going to the river and everyone had water shoes/sandals except him, so he was stuck on the bank watching us. He didn't want to spend so much on the sandals, but I assured him that they were worth the money since I have two pairs myself. Turns out these are now his favorite sandals. He says they are very comfortable.

Wonderful Shoe - This is the most comfortable shoe ever worn. I am a nurse and my feet are old and tired - these shoes perked me up. So firm yet soft. I wish I could work in them!

Use critiques to your advantage - I had seen several similar styles of Keen shoes and wanted a pair but was unsure as to which style. Many noted that you should order a half size up which I did. Several buyers commented on how snug across the instep/toes this style was and that that was the only potential negative. Otherwise they loved them. I have a very narrow foot and often slosh around in sandals. I used other's negative as my positive to choose this style. They fit perfectly and I will order another pair before these can ever wear out. They are the most comfortable walking shoes that I have found!

Awesome Sandal - These sandals are so comfortable. I originally bought them as a gift for a friend and when I tried them on I ordered another pair from Zappos.com for myself. Very versatile, can be worn in water, sand, day trips to NYC. And they clean up great. Thanks for the wonderful customer service Zappos.

Fantastic travel and walking shoe - I just love Keen Newports, this is my fifth pair. My first two pairs were the washable leather; my last three are the web. I think I prefer the web. Since the web dries faster, I wore them on the wet rides at the Disney parks. I have also worn these white water rafting in Montana. I have worn these shoes all over the world and they are truly comfortable and good looking in an original sort of way. Actually, there is a secret Keen Newport club. People who are wearing them come up to you and say, "great shoe!" I have bought a Newport wardrobe for my husband and have bought some for my three grown children, in-law-children, and niece. My whole family wore them this summer on a Caribbean cruise. I wear a 7W shoe and I just go up one whole size and wear an 8M Keen. I love that there is so much room in the toe and you can make the elastic cord as loose or as tight as you want. I love that you can wear these shoes with or without socks. If you wear socks, wear thin, not sport socks. I have two complaints. My feet sweat and there is an odor, even with baby powder in the shoe. I have a solution; I wear toe peds in the shoe. Also, I have a high arch and if I walk a lot, my arches need help. I have my shoemaker glue in waterproof arch pads. I love that these shoes can be washed in the washing machine or in the laundry tub. When we come home after traveling I take the Newports and launder them. I'm sure I will be buying more colors!

Keens are keen. These are amazing sandals, wear em with or without sox. And they are great at the beach or walking in rivers too. I tried on one of our kids pairs, as our feet are the same size, so knew exactly what to order.

Excellent shoes - The shoes arrived in the mail very quickly and were the correct size and style. They fit well, are good to walk in, and look great.

Purple Newport H2 - The comfortable insole, the fabulous purple, and the secure fit make these my favorite summer footwear. I even have plastic orthotics and am able to wear them with these shoes without fear of them slipping out. I've worn them in the water, and I wear them hiking in the woods. I love the rugged sole. My only negative comments are that with my orthotics, they're somewhat difficult to get on (but I am learning!), and that my toenails get a little blackened by the firm rubber toe. I imagine that this will lessen as time goes on, and if not, it is no big deal--washes right off.

Keen Newport H2 - I was in need of a good, rugged, outdoor sandal and was directed by friends to Chaco’s and Keens. Tried on a couple styles of both brands and found Keen's Newport H2 insanely comfortable as soon as I slipped them on. I wear them anytime I'm outside, and have found them to be a great option for streetwear when it rains as they have good traction. I chose the Kiwi, and the color has yet to dull with dirt. It may not be the most attractive shoe, but the comfort counts here.

Great toe protection - The Keen water sandals tend to be wide in the toe section of the shoe and warm! So, I debated between the Venice H2 and Newport H2 shoes. I have a narrow foot and found that the Newport H2 fit my narrow foot better. I would also prefer more arch support. But, I find these shoes very useful for outdoor sport activities, hiking, biking, sailing, etc. They really protect your toes in active sports. They could be more stylish and less clunky in appearance!

Looks aren't everything, when will I learn - I'll be honest; I have bunions. Need to remain hip, hide them, and sometimes need a sandal. Newport H2 were the best choice. Ordered my size (9.5) and a 10 - kept the 10. Lesson #1: order a size up. Love the look, style, durability, and color (Kiwi). After about an hour, they really were hurting. I decided (rationalizing all the way as so many women do) they simply needed break-in time. Wrong. Lesson #2: don't wear them outside and return them immediately if they hurt. Tried them with socks - not a good look. Helped a bit in fit, but, in the end should have returned them! Footbed is a bit tough, feet sweat in them, hurt the bunions, but of course, I'll keep them and take Advil. That's the kind of gal I am. I love Keens and Zappos, so hopefully, lessons learned. Read reviews which referred to blisters and rubbing, but I didn't have those concerns. The fit was good - it was me that was the problem.

Cute and comfy - I like this better than Keens’ St. Bart. This model feels about 1/2 size smaller. It seems that my feet may feel hotter than other airier styles, but it's certainly better than sneakers for active events.

Great Shoe!!! Highly recommended. This is the 3rd pair I own. Great alternative with comfort. Sandals lack arch support & hurt my feet after wearing them for awhile.

Excellent Kayak Footwear - This water shoe was an excellent find for me. I wear size 4 1/2 shoe usually and this shoe fits perfectly. So I would agree it probably runs a 1/2 size small, fortunately for me. Being new to kayaking I was looking for fit, comfort, and stability and found all, along with a great emerald color. I also love the look and have received many compliments and inquiries from others. I highly recommend this product.

Keen Newport H2 - Comfortable shoes, although tight across the top. Too hot for humid Virginia summers but should be ok in the fall and spring.
