These Newport Keens will make your feet very happy. Wear at the gym, on errands, on the beach, gardening, on mountain trails, etc. They aren't the prettiest things happening but nothing beats comfortable feet. My friend wanted to wear them to museums in Paris on her honeymoon and I talked her out of it. She was very sorry she listened to me!

The shoes are very expensive but well worth the price. The fit is perfect and the comfort is what I have been looking for.

Narrower and lighter than my old Keens (2006) but still a great style. Also, snug to begin with but then stretches just a little after a few hours of wear.

This shoe is very bulky and the color brindle is not very attractive. It is not a feminine look in size 11. If you have little feet it might look nicer. It is a quality shoe in any case, well made.

I love these shoes. They are comfortable, supportive, can be adjusted great for a narrower foot and worn all day. I used them all over Disney World for a week as well as a trip to a River in Texas, swimming, walking and hiking mountains. Highly cushioned too and I like the toe grip in the front. Do order slightly larger than usual if you are between sizes. I wear 9 or 9.5 and always 9.5 in Keen.

I am somewhat of a fashion diva. I really love these shoes for fair weather travel. They are nicer looking than sneakers, substantial for long days on hot city concrete. Add socks and you can take an unexpected hike in the mountains. Work well, wet or dry. Fun color and some pattern gives them some fashion pop.

These sandals are very comfortable for both the water and the trail. However, after several miles on the trail with a 33 lb. pack, they started to rub the soles of my feet and I had to change to my hiking boots to keep from getting blisters.

Slate Black is actually brown. I knew that they ran 1/2 size small already, so size was not a problem.

I love KEENS! The Newport style fits even a narrow foot because of the lacing system. They are very comfortable and supportive. I don't think they can be beat for walking. I wear them all year round. Barbara

Love these even more than I expected. I ordered the size I normally wear and they fit perfectly. I thought they might be heavy to wear. No - had them on all day walking around and never had the desire to take them off. These are going to serve me well in Paris and Italy where I expect to be doing a lot of walking. Very happy customer.

I love these as I wear a lot of purple. Just wished they were the same shade of purple in picture. Mine look like they are faded out or been sun bleached.

I ordered these shoes on Saturday morning and they arrived before Noon on Monday. Kudos to Zappos! I have these shoes in lavender and loved them so I now have them in chartreuse. I hike in them and find they offer great support. Love them for the summer in Winter Park, Colorado where I live, work & play. I may have to order the Hot Coral.

This is my second pair of these. My first pair lasted 4 years of hard abuse. I hope to always have a pair of these. They are my primary shoes. Maybe it should be noted that they feel a little tight the first week. I was worried I reordered the wrong size at first.

I had my eyes on these for a long time before I purchased. I don't buy summer shoes with a strap across the heal. Took a chance and find I like them very much. Nice and wide through the toes, very comfortable and the color/plaid is great. It is a bit of a struggle to get the strap up over my heal but I'm not used to wearing this type of shoe. I have a high instep and the shoe gives great support.

I wear these constantly during the summer. They are excellent around town as well as over rugged terrain. Now, at the end of my second summer, they are beginning to smell a little, and I will probably replace them for next year. Other than the odor, they still are like new.

I really wanted to love these shoes. They are so stylish and comfortable, and I splurged because I was planning a trip to northern Minnesota and knew I'd want shoes to wear in the lake as well as hiking. The first time I wore them in the lake, where I was essentially wading in knee-high water with my two year old, the toe box pulled away from the straps. What a disappointment. I wore them the rest of the week because I didn't have a backup, getting more and more upset with Keen each time for selling me such a poorly-made product. I figured I'd get at least a couple of summers out of them. I'm going to contact the company to see if they'll repair or replace them. My $10 water shoes from Wal-Mart held up better than these. On the up-side, they were comfy to walk in before they fell apart.

I wore out my first pair of Keen Newport H2's after hiking and snorkeling in them for 5 years. They always felt a bit tight around my bunions, though, so this time I ordered a half size up and am very comfortable in them. They are perfect for walking on the rocky beaches here in Hawaii, as well as for boating. The arch support is good, your toes are protected, they stay on no matter what, and they dry quickly. I had problems with my first pair getting smelly after being in the water, so this time I'm making sure they dry in the sun between wearings. So far, no problems.

These are by far the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. Most of my shoes cause a sharp pain in the ball of my foot. Not with these. It felt like the bed of the shoe was designed just for my foot. I took the advice of other reviewers and ordered 1/2 size up. They fit perfectly.

I bought these in bright chartreuse/garden green along with the Venice H2 (not as comfortable) and Clearwater CNX (toe box contour not quite right) for wading/boating/camping wear. I kept these over the other two for comfort. I have only worn them for camping and they deliver. I can wear them loose for walking, and tighten for in-water wear. It took a little while to get used to the fit, but I was able to put them on and go out of the box. I hosed them off for cleaning and hung them heel down for drying. I did fine. I usually buy a size 6 in casual, but took a 5½ in these shoes. I probably could fit with average socks if I had to, but I mostly intend to wear them without socks.

my right foot is always the hard foot to fit and even tho I bought these 1/2 size larger than my normal 7,the right one was too short or maybe I needed a wider width. I didn't think they would stretch over time in the toe box.
Otherwise would have loved them.
My physical therapists wear them and highly recommended the Venice or Newport for best support.

These are great for walking anywhere. They look bulky, but feel like bare feet. They are cool outdoors, but can be as sweaty as shoes indoors.

I can't believe I got these so fast. Thank you Zappos! I needed them for a fishing retreat for breast cancer patients. I looked everywhere. Now I know to look here first. Then I won't need to go anywhere else!

This is my 5th or 6th pair of Keen Newport h2. I wear them everyday in the summer, and with socks (dork alert) in the fall. I had one pair that rubbed the side of my foot. A Bandaid on the shoe fixed that. Not ideal. But every other pair, this one included is cool, comfortable, non-slip soles work on rocks, sidewalks, and sand. I buy 1/2 size up. I need a wide toe bed because of a tumor on the bottom of a toe. This shoe works terrifically in keeping my toes unsquished.

These are all that everybody says they are! Fit-wise: They are truly great for my foot shape: wider (C) in the forefoot and narrower in the heel. My "Fit Tip" would be to try them on first in a store before ordering them online. Apparently, from reading 100's of reviews, not everybody needs to size up. I did have to though. My usually size in most other shoes/sandals is 8 - 8.5. I need a size 9 in Keens. (I am typically a 39 EUR, which, in most other brands, equals 8 - 8.5 US. With Keen, the size 9 US = 39.5, so, for me, Keen does run a 1/2 size small...short...and I needed that extra 1/2 size in length.) My "big toe" is a little bit on the large side so it rubbed the end/tip at the very end of the shoe. A size 9 fit my foot much better. So, for me, the proper fit came from sizing up a 1/2 size because I needed that tiny bit of extra length. The width was good otherwise, on/in both the 8.5 and the 9. Also, if they feel too "hot" for you, maybe only wear them in the cooler months; Spring and Fall (and winter if you don't live in a snowy region). This is what I plan to do.
