I am on my 3rd pair of Newport H2. I had ordered the Keen Rose, but found they were too wide for my feet in the toe area. Zappos is so awesome with returns, that they had UPS pick up right at my door, they even provided the shipping label. I exchanged the Rose for the Newport H2, and am so glad I did. I can tell you these are the most comfortable and stable sandals I have ever owned. Always order these 1/2 size up.

Bought these for a rigorous water hike, they were perfect! Comfortable right out of the box! Great traction and they don’t hold onto any water. Highly recommend!

I ordered a half size larger and that was perfect. They look awesome. I got these for a water park and it rubbed a ton of blisters on one foot. The other foot only had one. Maybe theses aren't the best for being mostly underwater all day, but with bandaids I'm making them work cause they look really cool. Oh, and I have issues with my little toe falling out the side of sandals, and I don't have that problem in these shoes.

Fit was as expected. Very cute shoes. I have had problems with other styles of similar sandals and the placement/width/space between straps. These are perfect.

Comfortable right out of the box. Great support, sturdy on all surfaces. I usually wear an 8 1/2 in most shoes, but in athletic shoes I wear a 9, that is the case with these Keens. 9 Fit perfect.

I'm a solid 9 in all shoes but these felt a little snug. Ordered a half size up and am happy with it!

This is my third pair of Newport Keens. My original pair (at least 6 years old) are still my “gardening shoes” and they were a size 8. They have held up through rugged terrain. I had to go up to an 8.5 with my last two Newports that I ordered, however. But, same good quality and support!

First off, I LOVE keens! Almost all of my shoes are keens. I have been wearing them for many years. I always buy the shoes 1/2 size up from other brands I wear, and they fit great. For some reason this time did not work out. I could not get my toes into front half of the shoe comfortably. It was difficult to even get the shoe all the way on, even with bungees widening them. I felt like they were not the usual fit, and am bummed to be sending them back.

These are great water shoes. Provide excellent support. My feet do get a little warm after wearing them a while.

1/2 size up was perfect,toes did not touch front of sandal. Width was just right, toes did not feel squished. No breaking needed, took an hour hike on trails, very comfortable, second day hike for 75 mins, no sore spots and no gravel got in . My husbnd has a pair he has been wearing for about 2 yrs and says its the most comfortable sandal.

I couldn't even get my foot in; there's no give in the ankle strap.

These are 'cool' active shoes. I really liked them but I have very sensitive feet and the strap around the heel made my heel sensitive at first and pushed my foot forward so my toes touched the front slightly. I wore them around the house for 2 days to try to adjust to them. The heel strap felt better but they were stiff for me. I really wanted these shoes to work and they will for most people. Sorry to have to return them.

I have bought these shoes for over ten years and I was distressed with the quality and workmanship as the material around the ankle was improperly sewn, leaving material to fray. This occurred on all three shoes that I wanted to purchase. Check the shoes carefully!

I ordered 1/2 size up from my normal shoe size. I always wear an 8 & wear an 8 in the Clearwater & Whisper but took the advice from the Keen website that recommends ordering a 1/2 size up on the Newport H2. They fit great & offer much more support & protection than the Whisper. I wear to amusement parks with my kids, the pool, the lake, the ball field...everywhere & they are great! Keens wash well too. I have a normal width foot but would say if you are on the narrow dude these would be too wide for you. If you are narrow stick with the Whisper. If you have a normal to wide foot, the Newport H2 is awesome!

A little tight right out of the box but that's good as I have been told that keens stretch out a lot over time. Very comfy and good support, really good for walking in the summer.

Keen makes the only sandal, that I can wear confidently, with problem, flat feet. They are comfortable and well-made. I HIGHLY recommend the Newport style.??????

I wear 9 1/2 or 10, depending on shoe/style and have narrow feet. I ordered the 10 which felt great but my bigger toe graced toe edge. Both Keen and Zappos recommended sizing up 1/2; that toes shouldn't touch edge. Zappos is AWESOME and I had my 10.5 the next day! They also had UPS pick up the 10 for return!! With all that said, the 10.5 fits great although feels a bit looser in width; but the bungy cord corrects that issue. They feel super comfortable and supportive for my arthritic knees. I wore them around town today as it's hard to get idea of potential blisters walking around a small apartment. I did get beginnings of a blister on side of one foot just below toe. I guess there will be a little break in period as some people mentioned in reviews. I love the Poseidon/Capri blue and the matching bungy cords! I look forward to wearing them kayaking and on a trip to French Polynesia next year! (BTW, I did try but returned the Keen Whisper several months ago. It has thinner straps and the lining material/inside stitching seemed to be rough; which caused chaffing.)

I LOVE this shoe. I've got 2 other pairs of them and they are my "go-to" for many activities - from hanging around to moderate hiking. They grip the terrain well, and maintain the hold when stepping over wet rocks in rivers. As stated by others, you should order about a 1/2 size up. I usually wear a 6 1/2 in my keen Targhee and Voyageur but wear a 7 in these. I don't worry about stubbing my toes hiking when I wear these sandals because of the protection given by the toe box. .

I know to order a 10 in Keens. Normally I wear a 91/2.

This particular color (the purplish gray) fit perfectly. I ordered the teal (same style and size) and it was too narrow on my foot. Keen seems to use two different countries to manufacture their shoes and that made a big difference in size. There was no break in period for these Newports, just put them on, adjust with the bungee cord, hit the trails.

It is rare that I can put on a brand new pair of shoes and wear them all day with zero discomfort, but I did exactly that with these. And I just walked 2 miles in them. They fit perfectly and, while certainly not sexy, they are clunky cute. I highly recommend them.

Bought this pair to replace my 10-year-old Newports which are size 8. Needed an 8-1/2 in this H2 style and the Keen website also said to order a half size larger than usual in this style. I use these shoes for walking my dog on trails or the beach, and they are very comfortable for any walking surface. I wish Keen would lose the gloppy toe look, but the H2 style is a little cuter than the regular Newports. I have the teal color and it is nice. Otherwise, I like this brand for walking pretty much anywhere.

Pros: Great sandal. Wears well. Cool on hot days. Love the Bungee ties because I can make this B-width sandal fit my Very Narrow feet!! Cons: Not a lot of arch support for my flat feet. Because of that, I can't wear these for long walks.
