Perfectly comfortable right out of the box. I am normally a ladies 8, and the 8 fit perfectly. I was looking for good arch support and these shoes seem to be great.

Finally found a replacement Keen with enough cushioning in the sole, which in other models got pretty thin and hard. Best water/hiking sandal.

I bought these for a trip to South America next winter. I replaced a pair of Keen’s. These are a bit bulkier than my other’s. I wore them for a 4 mile walk the first time. They were very comfortable and did not need a break in period. I am very happy with this purchase.

Fit and size are perfect. I bought these as my former Keen's — purchased in 1998 and well used — finally wore out. I just wore them on a multi-day canoe trip through Labyrinth Canyon in Utah ... so was constantly in & out of the silty river water. These shoes are the bomb for such activities. And ... for hiking as well as general around town wear. Excellent value.

I've been a big fan of Keen sandals for many years now and the Venice style has been my go to every summer. I couldn't find that style in stock so I tried the Newport H2. At first - they weren't great and I thought they just needed some breaking in (although my Venice sandals never needed it). I should have just returned them right away because the foot bed in these are just really uncomfortable. The new design has this highly textured, sticky-ish material that feels like little rocks jamming into your soles. The stickiness has resulted in some blisters on the soles of my feet. Not comfortable at all. Oh well - I will keep trying to scrub down whatever the surface is and powder it to take off some of the stick - but I know I will never buy these ever again. In fact - I may just throw them out. What a waste.

Fit great and these are pretty awesome wet/dry shoes. Style isn't the best for a pebbly / rocky bottom river though, the pebbles get in on the sides and underfoot are hard to remove. Overall, great shoe though.

So happy with these sandals! I am a Keen aficionado and have been a bit disappointed as of late. These are like the good ol Keens I remember!! Comfortable right from the get go! Put them on, adjusted the pull straps and wore them all day without any issues! So very comfortable!! Great addition to my ever growing collection of Keens!!

Perfect fit and size. Material finally soft again, not blisters or discomfort, just like my very first Newport H2 I still own. I had purchased another pair since then but the upper material was kind of stiff and would not break in. I hardly wear them. This new pair I am wearing right out of the, smooth, soft and comfortable. I bought the navy/rose, not sure whether the material of the other colours is as soft as this color combination. A wonderful replacement of my trusty first Newport H2 which look pretty shabby by now but still do their job pretty well.

So hard to figure out sizing on Keen Sandals. Compared to the Keen Venice: These Newports run longer (larger). So I am returning and ordering a 1/2 Size Smaller (might even need a FULL Size Smaller). As other people have written in their Reviews: this foot shape seems to STILL be the "Original" Keen with the WIDE toes. Not sure about height of Toe Box and whether I will be bumping into the underside of Rubber Toe Bumper. The other Keens I tried had a LESS of a Rubber Toe Bumper: "Whisper" and "Astoria West" - but didn't fit for other reasons. My feet: Wide Toes, Narrow Heels, High Instep, High Arch, and thin or "bony" feet.

I was looking for a waterproof sandal with as good of arch support as my Chaco's, but with toe protection. I first bought the Keen Whisper - and they are GREAT, super comfy, light-weight, but only a moderate arch support (still much better than some cheap ole flat shoe!) & I found on longer walks I needed the higher arch of my Chaco's. This Newport fits the bill perfectly. The Newport does seem to run about 1/2 size smaller than the Whisper or my Keen Terradora hiking boot. I normally wear a 9 in Keens, but had to size up to the 9.5 for the Newport. The higher arch support comes with a thicker, stiffer sole and a wider toe box - which adds up to a bit heavier sandal - but they feel super supportive & sturdy when clambering over rocks, so I'll take it :) I ain't gonna lie, these aren't the prettiest of sandals, kinda clunky looking, but extremely functional & comfortable, right out of the box.

These are my go-to outdoor summer shoe - very durable and comfortable with good traction for trail use.

I don't love the look but they're more comfortable than I expected and easy to slip on and off. I have narrow feet and the toe box is roomy but I cinched the elastic laces and created a snugger fit around my foot. I think they will be perfect for an upcoming Galapagos cruise but I'm also wearing them around the house & running errands & they're well-ventilated in the summer heat.

I have several pairs of the Keen Newport sandals. Regrettably, this version is too big but at the same time, too narrow, for my moderately wide feet. I love the style and color though.

This keen shoe is very narrow and runs a whole size smaller I ordered another pair the same make just a different print and it’s just fine so back they went

I bought two pairs of these one was a print which fits beautifully and the other was the light gray which is the same size but very narrow and way small!!! Made in Mexico no wonder

I wanted to like these but they were too tight (all my keens are a 7.5) and had absolutely no arch support. Since they are open, using my orthotics were not an option.

I've been wearing these Keen's forever. These were easily a half size too small.

I haven’t had a new pair of Keen sandals in years. They last forever for me. These have a nice cushion to them and the arch support works very well for my feet. My feet are wide and this shoe fits great. The laces are adjustable which compensates for my different size feet. I am very pleased with them.

*RUNS SMALL*! I am a 9.5 women’s in almost every brand and shoe style. These are a 1/2 or 1 full size small. Returning for a bigger size and hopefully they will work.

I wear a 2A width shoe and these can be pulled up enough to hold them on my foot. This is my 3rd pair and they last me around 3 years. These are the only water shoe that I have found that fits.

Very comfortable. Easy to walk in So far seems to be a good shock absorber :)
