Very pleased with my Keen Newport H2. My 5.5 size is spot on in fit with the medium width and exactly as expected. Though I'm a true medium, I do not like to feel crowded or too loose in the toe box. These shoes feel like they are made for my feet. I wore them for short quick errands with a little standing/waiting; walking to and from the car. Nothing major. I noticed that I could feel the shoe pressing against my left big toe...probably near the spot were a bunion would exist if I had one which I don't. There was no pain or irritation. I was just aware of feeling the shoe in that area. But...I have spent my winter in cozy thick socks or slippers around the house and broken-in well worn shoes with thick cushioned socks for warmth. These where the first pair of new footwear that my bare skinned feet have felt in months. Because there was no pain or irritation, I figured I was experiencing a "new shoe sensitivity" sensation and by the time I returned home that sensation was gone. I walked around my bedroom doing little chores and felt no urgency to take them off. I actually enjoyed having them on. I recommend these shoes because there is no pain or irritation. They cradle the foot with proper arch support and stability and that stability translates to comfort, not just for my feet, but for every movement I make...indoors or outside. All this happens while protecting my feet when traversing various uneven surfaces. And, I'll add, they also look good while doing so.

These feel great and fit well. They are broad in the toe, as many Keen are, though slightly less so, which I prefer. The sizing for this style was true for me in the 9.5. Other styles didn't fit the same.

I tried on three other Keen sandal styles at the time. These fit similar to Venice, although these felt wider and heavier, a bit clunky. Both this show and Venice were short in length for me.

I have been looking for years to find sandals that cover the toes, have a heel strap and good support, these are the ticket! I have a hammer toe on each foot that requires extra space in my footwear. I wear a 9 1/2-10, EU 40, I went with 9 1/2 in these which equals EU 40 and they have enough space to wear with socks but are also comfortable without. Perfect! And to top it off, they are machine washable/air dry and I love the Raya black color option, a black background with fun multi color stripes. Amazing, so happy to finally have comfortable and stylish summer footwear. Thank you Keen designers and Zappos for the amazing service!

I like the styling and the sizing was was true to size. The sandals were comfortable, however, I found the opening where you slide your foot into the sandal a little tight making it hard to get over my heel. After wearing them for 15 minutes it started to dig into the under part of my ankle.

Bought these to replace a pair of 15 year old Keens that still look pretty good, but was afraid the soles would not perform correctly on slippery rocks on an up-coming river rafting trip. Will take the old ones for back-up. From the minute I put them on, I could tell they would be perfect. They fit just like my old ones! No break-in required. I wear a 8 AAA with a 5A heel in most shoes. I have high arches. These Newport H2 in size 8 fit great. I adjusted the the elastic so that it was comfortable and my foot didn’t slide around when I walked. I am able to “slip” them on without loosening the elastic: I put my toes in, push my foot forward, and then use two fingers in the back “like a shoe horn” to slide my foot into place. Perfecto! I’m ready for the adventures ahead.

I love most Keen sandals! I bought at least 15 pairs of the Venice style. I was almost devastated when they stopped making them. I’m hoping the Newports will prove to be just as amazing for me and my feet. I wear mine with socks summer and winter, as I walk to work. I am on my feet quite a bit at work, and I get good cushioning and good support from Keens! The bright Raya pattern makes me very happy.

Kind of a clunky shoe, but gets the job done--a rugged sandal suitable for hikes where water might be involved, with toe protection for those inevitable clumsy moments.

I absolutely LOVE these sandals! I wear them until they become well worn or the rubber soles become dry. I live in Florida, where I spots extremely hot. I wear these all year round. When they’re wet, I leave them outside to dry. The sun contributes to the rubber getting dried out eventually. These are so extremely comfortable! I usually buy two pairs at a time - in different colors and usually before I go on vacation. The most recent ones I bought went to several European countries. On the day it was chilly, I just put on socks with my sandals. I can wear these all day for hiking, for walking, , and for exploring Pompeii. My feet never hurt or feel tired. 8 wear them in the ocean and in pools. Best sandals ever!

Purchased these for casual hiking during the summer, and still wear them for city walking during brisk falls. Surprisingly, pebbles do not get into the sandle. Note - I have bunions and normally wear wide shoes. These Keens are definitely a lucky find.

Very disappointing. I wanted to replace a pair of Keen Venice sandals but it looks like they are phasing them out. Only a few sizes available. I loved them because they were wonderfully roomy in the front but secure in the heel. I never even got that far with the Newport. The top opening was so small, I couldn't even get my foot in it! And whereas the Venice had nice little loops at front in back to help you tug it on, the Newport loops were clearly for decoration only (not that they are particularly decorative - the whole shoe looked more cheaply made than the Venice). They are too small to even fit a finger in - and BTW, I'm pretty small. Why is it that when you find something great, they replace it with something that clearly has been made with less thought, care, and quality?

The shoes look and feel great.

Run very narrow making them impossible for me.

These are like other Keen sandals in running small. I wear a true 5, can usually fit a Keen 5.5 and these are almost too small. My otero Keens fit ok, these come right to the tips of my toes, and have Avery round shape, almost like kids shoes.

I put these shoes on and immediately was able to walk about a mile in comfort with no breaking in period.

Foot and arch support not as good as I expect and usually get from Keen. I love the style and kept the shoes. I can wear them for a short time but not all day. Going to try extra arch inserts in them next.

Very disappointed that KEEN changed the styling on this shoe. I absolutely loved my last pair. Perfect arch support. Wide front area. Easy to wear with or without socks. I just tried two different sizes of the “updated” version and both were uncomfortable. Awkward arch positioning, narrow upfront, and fabric irritated small toe. Farewell KEEN…Looking to other brands now.

Not for people with high arches. Too tight on top of foot. Thought they would be more adjustable.

Keen newport H2 have always been great. I'm sorry that they seem to be trying new styles when these older ones are perfect. The color selections are getting really poor as well. New the less these are great shoes.
