Just not the same. It feels like the toe box is narrower, and the shoe is a whole size smaller. Very sad.

I thought these were adorable in the picture, but when I tried them on they made my feet look like duck feet! The front of the shoe is very wide. They fit well but my big toenail tended to rub against the toe cover a bit and I thought that after a long hike that might be a problem. So returning them.

Very weird sizing, I normally wear a 10, sometimes 10.5, the 10.5 felt like I was trying to squeeze into a 9. Grateful for Zappos free return shipping!

I bought these to replace an old pair of Keen Newport H2s. Sadly, I had to buy a half size larger to make them fit, and the arch support is next to nothing compared to my old ones. Keen's gone cheap - what a shame!

I've had the same pair of Keens for over 10 years and replaced them with these. While they were the correct size toe-to-heel, I found them uncomfortably snug - which no loosening of the laces could correct. I'll try the other style.

The newport h2 is my third pair of keens. This pair is definitely snugger than the previous two. I'm thinking they will stretch a bit and sure hope so. I didn't think I could go wrong purchasing the same shoe that I have liked so much. The color isn't quite as dark as I wanted but is alright. I hope my feet adjust and that I get the wear from these that I have from my others. They are virtually indistructable.

I ordered the same size I wear in the Keen Whisper model and the Newport H2 shoe is much wider and a little shorter than the Whisper. I could not get them to snug up enough. I'm returning them for another Whisper model.

While these sandals were super comfy and cushiony, the arch support is not as good as I was hoping for and need. They are also considerably wider than any B width sandals I've tried. They are about 3/4 of any inch wider than my Keen Whispers. I had to look again at my order to make sure they didn't send a mens size. (They didn't) I have to send them back for the wide width and because the arch support is not enough for my old tired, high arched feet. Thank you Zappos for allowing us to try various shoes until we find the right size and style!!

I am the owner of over 30 pairs of Newport H2 sandals. I bought my first pair almost 12 years ago. I have been very happy with them until I bought the newest version came out. The reason that I have so many is that they fit my foot perfectly and give me an adequate amount of arch support. I'm not sure what happened with Keen when they made their newest incarnation but they are seriously cutting corners. With this new pair it felt like my forefoot was wrapped tightly in an Ace bandage. I thought that maybe it felt that way because I was trying them on in the evening when my foot is more swollen. So, I tried them on again 3 different times of day over 2 days. Still the same feeling of tightness every time. So, back they go :-( In all of my previous H2s the toe box is so big that I can move my forefoot from side to side and can lift it off the footbed. Not so with these new ones. Keen, if you want to keep a long time customer, please go back to making the H2s the way you used to. I would be happy to pay more money if you would make them the way you did a decade ago!!

First, I love Keen sandals and have worn a version of this style for several years. This shoe has all the ergonomic pluses and will most likely last a long time but, sadly, they get hot. My feet sweat in them and I wouldn't walk across town.

Purchased these 3 years ago for wet landings / hiking in the Galapagos and they were perfect! Hardly had to break them in, good arch support and solid sole for walking over rocks. I have bunions and they fit perfectly. A few cons: the webbing stays wet for quite awhile, the wide spaces between the webbing allows stones in when wearing on float trips and worse - while on an 8 mile hike the outer sole on both shoes peeled off! Luckily there is a double sole so I could continue my hike back to camp. When I called Keen about this, the rep said I didn't wear them enough to keep the glue pliable! What??!! Never heard of such a thing! No return but suggested I use Shoe Goo to fix them. I've not done that yet but will soon as I plan to wear these in Puerto Rico next month hiking in El Yunque. Sure hope it works, these weren't cheap.

I really wanted to like these shoes. But I ended up returning them because they were inconvenient to get into. The lack of an opening or elastic any where in the strap encircling the heel and ankle made it difficult to pull the shoes on over my heel. The heel strap rolled under and became twisted even though the pair I received were a half size too big. I had to struggle with a finger to straighten it into place. Since this strap is one single piece, opening the laces does not solve the issue. And I think the difficulty would be even worse once the shoes get wet. For this reason I will look for a style with a heel or ankle closure.

I'm on the fence regarding these shoes. They're comfy, although I'm feeling a rub on the top of my toes. My biggest complaint, though, is that the man-made sole is very hot. I've only worn these around the house so far, but may be returning them.

Good support but the forefoot is really wide and I could not get it tight enough to keep my foot from sliding forward. My feet are on the narrow side but not really all that narrow.

I bought these to replace an original pair purchased10 years ago when keen first came out. I am disappointed in that there is less archsupport, less width in toe box, smaller all over than the original ones. Had to return them.

Miss my old Keens. Been wearing Newport size 8 for years. Based on reviews ordered 8.5 and 9. Had to return both. Too snug and felt more lightweight and less stable and durable than my old Keens. Maybe just the difference between the Newport and the Newport H2. As always Zappos customer service rocks!

Hard to get on as the "slip" onto the foot and there are no straps to make access easier. This is the only thing I dislike about this shoe. Once on, it's heaven, but getting it on is a drag...literally!

The Clearwater CNX works better for my foot, because it is a little less bulky and wide. My normal 8 worked fine in both cases, but I prefer the lighter CNX so will stick with that when I get my next color choice. :)

Shoe was tight around the ball of the foot. Tight around the toe area. Difficult to get foot in, once on it felt too short and smaller than other Keen shoes.

I have been searching for a walking sandal that were supportive for high arches, and after a friend raved to me about how comfortable and supportive her Keen sandals were, I decided to try them. I called Keen and asked them about their sandals as to support. The representative did tell me that Keens are not designed to control pronation or be extra supportive for arches, but she recommended the Newport H2 as the most supportive. So, I decided to try it; but no joy. The sandal felt both too large and too wide. And, almost no arch support. Definitely not designed for high arches. I have had to return them.

I really want a pair of sneaker sandals for days where I spend hours on my feet; however, I have not been able to find a pair that is comfortable for the long haul. I felt like these would have provided all day comfort and support, but they were just too hot. I have a weird thing that I cannot stand my feet to be at all sweaty, so I spend a lot of time in wicking socks or open sandals. I can't (won't) wear socks with these shoes and there just isn't enough ventilation to go barefoot.

I ordered up half size per recommendations but my usual size would have been fine to wear without socks or orthotics. Unfortunately, since these have zero arch support, I did need orthotics and mine don't work with this shoe. Not as ugly as I'd expected but very clunky. I'd have worn for hiking/outdoors only. If you care about looks, Anhu Tilden is much more streamlined.
