Zappos Core Value #10: Be Humble Yep! I wear woman's shoes. Humbling! If the shoe fit... So I bought a pair of Keen Newport Sandals - Women's - Black size 11 on August 14, 2004, they still wear well and I wear them for all purpose, you'll see me kickin' a pair off if you visit my tube page and view a few beach kite flying vids, but back to this brand. Now the only reason I ordered a new pair is that I snapped the quick lock band on my old pair while insulating an attic; the Keen brand has held up and provide excellent support and surefootedness, which grants this brand my loyalty. From painting to plumbing, to delving deep into an open computer case, from jet ski, to weather station maintenance on my roof, from opening a door with my toe, to shopping, or keeping my feet off cold tile floor they are on. 5+ years. Just put on my new set of Keen Newport H2 Black Olive/Deep Lichen's and having measured my foot with a seamstress tape at centimeters, measured 26.5 cm., which means by the chart I could have ordered a Men's US 9.5 or Women's 11 as per the chart, yet I followed the users advice here. Women's US Euro UK Inches CM 11 41-42 9 10.5" 26.7 Men's US Euro UK Inches CM 9.5 42-43 9 10.4375" 26.7 I ordered Men's US 10.5, full size larger than measured and they fit like the old Newport, and they even match up sole roll and heel placement. I'd like to see more stock in the women's 11.5 and 12, as the colors and styles have more breadth. Those Keen Venice H2 light green/yellow fade would look great with me flying off the ground with my kite, or boosting with the Jet ski. As for Zappos! How can you ever expect more from the business that defines customer satisfaction?

Keen Newports are fantastic. very comfortable. Great support outdoors and protection for toes. They drain very quickly. The best sandals I have had. As usual Zappos has great service. To my door in South Louisiana in two days.

This is my first pair of Keen sandals and I'm a huge fan now. I've been wearing various Timberland sandals for over 10 years and decided to try a new brand. Based on other reviews, I decided to try Keen and these sandals are great. They are very comfy, snug fitting, but easy to slip on and off. I like the solid front to protect the toes since I like to use my sandals while working around the house. The styling is a perfect balance of utilitarian and stylish for dinner at a casual restaurant. I can't judge durability yet but so far, so good.

These are very comfortable right out the box. I thought the uppers would be stiff but they were fine and are actually softening up nicely. The bottoms are very cumfortable and provide good support. They have a lot a cushion to them but don\'t allow hard surfaces to push up into your foot. They look wide on your feet but they don\'t feel that way. Should last a long time with the vibram tread. I\'d buy them again.

Merrill makes good ones too.

They feel great and are very comfortable. Great stylish look, too. I usually wear between a 9.5 or a 10. I originally tried these in a 10 and they were way too tight. I would recommend ordering a pair of H2\'s at least a 1/2 size larger than normal. I know that these are made with some type of anti-odor material in the soles, but it is not helping. I think because the sandals are more closed than a regular sandal, it is causing my feet to sweat more. The odor has been noticeable, but I don\'t care. They feel great!

I bought these for my boyfriend because I hated the tennis shoes he was wearing for casual wear. He loves them. Have not seen the tennis shoes since. He is a barefoot, flip flop sort of guy and he said these are the next best thing with the protection of a shoe. Wanted to know if he could wear them in the winter with socks. I said sure if you want to look like a geek. Just buy yourself some Keen boots!

This is my 4th pair of Keens and my first H2. They are at least one full size smaller than the listed size and my other 3 pairs. I can't really get them on my feet. You should find a store that has them and try them on in person before you buy them online. I was very disappointed.

Recently purchased these for our trip to Maui. Previously, my husband purchased a pair of sandals whose brand name will remain anonymous, but let\\\'s just say, I warned him they wouldn\\\'t be as comfortable as a pair of Keens. Did he listen? He\\\'s a guy; of course not! Not until his best friend ranted over his. So, long story short, I ordered a pair of Keen Newport H2 and he loved them! They went from ocean to stream to rocky cliff; all over the island right out of the box. They even went out to dinner a couple of times! So glad he FINALLY listened to me!

Love 'em. Have worn them fishing on the Florida coast and rafting on the Salmon River. Very comfortable, thick soles keep the sand out, but if it does get inside, it is difficult to remove. I ordered a half size larger and it was perfect. I usually get size 11D. These are 45. Will buy again. Thanks for the awesome service!

I love these shoes! I am the director of a summer camp in NJ and some of my former staff raved about them. I got them for camp this year and ended up wearing them almost everyday through the dirt, the rain, the mud- everything. they stood up to a ton of conditions and appear to still be in great shape, even if they do need a good washing.

WOW! These are absolutely awesome shoes. We have been customers of Zappos for many years now, but this is the first time we purchased Keen Newport H2 sandals. They are very comfortable, even for several hours of hiking. They are true to size and the soles are tacky enough to do some incline walking without slipping. Very good product and highly recommended!

I've had these Keen shoes for almost a month now. It's the only shoe I've worn since I got them. I put away my tennis shoes; I put away my Brinkenstock sandals. They have become my everyday shoes. The inner sole is made out of rubber and at first it takes a little while to get used to having bare skin in contact with it. I got over it in a day or two. When we have beautiful weather like we do in the summer, there's no reason to wear anything else. I've used them on bike rides, hikes and at the office. Last weekend I traveled with them and they are easy at the airport.

These sandals are fantastic, very comfortable, and very stylish. I wear a size 17, so I was pretty happy to find something like this in my size. I\'d also like to thank Zappos, I did have a problem early on where the stitching went out on the sandals, but Zappos provided a replacement pair immediately. The replacement pair seemed slightly smaller than the original pair, but they actually felt better than the originals, so I\'m happy. I also agree with those that say that sweating can be a slight issue in them, but nothing terrible for me. I tell everyone about Zappos, especially those with big feet. Great selection, great prices, and bar none the best customer service of any online store I\'ve ever dealt with. I\'ve bought my last four pair of shoes from Zappos, and I\'ll continue to be a loyal customer.

I bought these for my dad, he is in his 60s and loves his crocs that I gave him last year. I explained that these are way more comfortable and now he is a believer. My whole family has these sandals, they are comfy, weather-proof and unlike crocs, I don\'t think they warp my kids\' feet. You don\'t have to curl your toes to keep these on. They are very durable. i would get this kind over the older ones that have the velcro strap that goes across the top, these are easier to put on. i think keen phased out the old kind, though. super comfy, great walking or hiking sandals!

Great shoe for the boat. Will not slip when wet and does not leave any marks. If you are walking in soft sand it will fill up on the toe area. Walk on the wet sand and no problems. Much better than flip-flops.

I bought these shoes for my husband for his birthday. He wore them the first time all day at Epcot. No break-in period required! It poured while we were at Epcot and at times we were walking in ankle deep water. He was so glad to have his Keens on and not have to walk around in wet socks and sneakers like I did. This is my second pair of Keens. My first pair wore out after nearly four years of frequent wearing.
This is a good shoe for travelers because it's functional (and good-looking) in so many conditions.
I bought the first pair for a trip to Nicaragua, where I wore them in the city, in the mountains, climbing a volcano, and swimming in the Pacific. I've brought them with me on trips to urban Europe and backwoods Maine, and I wear them all over South Dakota (when it's not too cold, that is!) This new pair will accompany me to Belize and Guatemala for a course I'm teaching on tropical ecology. I know from experience they'll serve me well in both the rainforest and the ocean.
They look good enough for most occasions in the city, and they do a great job of protecting my feet in the great outdoors. The get a good grip on most surfaces, comparable with a good pair of trail running shoes.
I've also worn them while fly-fishing, and if the rocks aren't extremely slippery they perform very well. They do permit some gravel in (as any sandal will) but unlike most sandals they do an excellent job of protecting my toes. They dry fairly quickly, but more importantly, they wear well even when wet.

My husband and I each bought a pair of these Keens to wear in our new activity of kayaking. On our first few trips we wore tennis shoes, which certainly protected our feet but were just not that comfortable and took forever to dry out. Friends recommended these shoes, and they have been great. The toe cap protects the toes from stubbing in the water of our rocky James River. They are very comfortable for wearing in or out of the water, and fairly quick-drying. Probably because of the rubber toe cap, they are warmer than most sandals, however. And while they fit well, they take two hands (for me at least) to get on. On the whole, I recommend them highly.
