Fantastic shoes for an active teenager. They can handle any kind of terrain or activity and have replaced his normal gym shoes in the summer. Highly recommend!

Just can't beat Zappos service - order processed and delivered in less than 24 hours. These sandals are great and although I have only been walking in them for two days, I can tell that they will be my most comfortable favorite footwear. As others have mentioned, be sure to take a half size larger than your standard shoe size.

Bought these for my husband as I'm not a fan of 'mandals'. We live in Atlanta, where it's very hot and do a lot of outside activities. So they're great for that. These look very neat/hip and he says they're very cool/comfortable.

I've had my pair of Newport H2's for about two years and they are tough sandals. Mine still look great and I have put them through hell! They are super comfortable and the inside has a little grip for your foot so your not sliding around when you walk uphill or downhill. They can also be cinched down tight for really technical stuff, or worn really lose, like a clog. The tread is awesome and has held up unbelievably! I go hiking in mine for 2 or 3 mile hikes and feel great the whole way. They are the ultimate everyday sandal. If you're a Teva fan these will probably make you happy. I prefer these over my Teva's for hiking because of the toe guard! You know those roots and twigs that make a good hike go bad. Some of my friends have these and they agree with me, these sandals rock!

My husband asked why I hadn't bought these sooner. very comfortable. We bought them before going to Disney. He usually is wearing his sneakers the last 2 days but these were comfortable all week. The first time he has ever not had blisters. Great with short or jeans.

Love Keens, love Zappos; 9 months into this pair the stitching came undone (first time out of four pairs), Zappos replaced them free. I made the order in the morn, I received the new ones the next day. Keen owners are like Jeep owners, we just acknowledge those who have them. Have a good Keen.

I have an older pair and I am a little concerned that some of the stitches are popping off in the rear section of the sandal. The other pair is well over 3 years old and while the traction is a little rubbed out I think they are constructed better. The fit is the same I am just concerned about durability.

Bought these for my husband after his cheap knockoffs kept leaving blisters. Took a year of having my own to convince him it was worth the price. He loves them! They're great because you can go from wet to dry with no problems! Got them in less than 24 hours too. Love Zappos!

Like the first robin, or cleaning the grill purchasing my summer Keen's is always a sign summer is on it's way. This year was made even more special due to Zappos quick service and delivery. Just wish summer arrived as fast as my Keen's.

Great looking; much more comfortable than expected. Snug and light enough for a brisk trail hike, but robust enough to scramble over rocks and through streams. Sheds sand and mud with a quick rinse. After a 5.7mi hike in the Smokies, through streams and over boulders (without a break-in) the only con was a bit of chafing on the outside of the small toe on my left foot, where the rubber toe-box ends. Oddly enough, that toebox saved a jammed toe from becoming a broken toe on said trip. Ultimately, a high-quality example of footwear which lives up to its claims and is worth the asking price. Look no further.

I have big Irish feet and after reading many of the reviews -- that recommended ordering a size larger -- I almost didn't order these sandals. I mean size 12 is big enough and a 13 would look huge.
Given LLBean's return policy though, I took a chance on a size 12 and I couldn't be happier. They fit very well and even better after I figured out how to use the built in shoelace like thingee.
I wanted them to do volunteer work on the beach with sea turtles and they've worked out perfectly. I can walk along the beach sands as well as into the water. The solid soles work perfectly pushing down on a shovel when I have to bury a turtle that has either died or been killed by boat strikes or sharks, which I had to do the first time I wore them.
They washed off nicely and are very comfortable to wear. Couldn't be happier with the sandals.

This is my second pair of Newports. The first lasted me three summers of everyday wear. They are, by far, the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. They are ugly as heck, but fun and can be worn everywhere because of the enclosed toe. My 7 year old son has gone through 3 pair and I just got a pair for my wife. Order a Half bigger than you usually wear.

I've only had them for a couple of weeks but so far am very happy with them. I hope that the quality control issue has been resolved. They are comfortable and cool compared to a shoe. No problems with stinking yet. I'm going to give them a real workout in Hawaii. If I could wear them all the time I would. Some don't care for the look but I like them. Great Zappo's service!

The Keen Newport H2's are very well made and will serve their purpose as a general / water shoe very well. The lining seems a little rough but that is probably due to the fact that my feet are not conditioned yet. I am glad that I made this purchase.

I bought these for a camping trip where I'd be doing some whitewater rafting, but now I find myself wearing these everywhere. They are also a great substitute for zoris on the side of a judo mat, just step in and the back strap folds comfortably under your foot w/o needing to pull them on. I couldn't be happier with them.

Purchased for my husband after wearing Keen's myself. I ordered one size up from his normal size and they fit perfect. Mr. Husband uses these for light summer hiking and as a "knock-around" shoe. We both love our Keen's!
