I bought these for a 10 day trip to Paris and they were great! Instantly comfortable, with no break-in needed. I walked all day in them for the whole trip and my feet felt great! I couldn't be happier with them.

I enjoyed the H2's a lot for the first few months of ownership. I took them on a cruise, did lots of trekking through beaches, sand, forest trails, malls, puddles, streets, baseball fields, you name it: These babies never faltered. Fast forward 6 months later and I'm a feeling a little bummed out about them. I still think they fit great, look fairly good and are super functional, but I've noticed that they trap any and all odor from my feet. Even after several washes both by hand and by machine, I can't get rid of that nasty stench. Now, before you move to the next review, hear me out. I'm not going to suggest my feet smell like roses; I have normal feet just like you and that guy right over there, yeah, that guy. But...I've never had foot odor in my life, outside of the occasional basketball game or heavy work day. Rarely do I smell my feet, or does anyone complain about my shoes or socks smelling, ever. However, with the H2's, I can't shake the smell. They have somehow trapped the odor from my feet for good, no matter how many times I've washed them. So, unfortunately, my H2 crop dusters are sitting out on my patio now, banished from the house, wafting in the breeze and causing animals from near and far to think twice about hanging around my house. My advice: wash your Keens frequently or you might be surprised to find that your lovely feet...reek! Buying from Zappos was possibly the best online shopping experience I have ever had.

Fit is slightly tighter around the heel than the regular Newports. The "string" is also considerable shorter on the H2, which is nice since you don't have to tuck it under one of the cross laces. Otherwise, almost the same as the regular Newports. Very comfortable sandals, I wear them all the time all day with no issues.

Bought these for my son to take to Boy Scout camp. He ended up wearing them every day for 8 days - the only shoes he needed. From swimming and tubing to hiking and playing frisbee these shoes were the best. They dry quickly and don't hang on to stinky feet smell with the aeration. He said they were comfortable and looked cool. Bye bye Crocs for him - these are a more sturdy option.

I hated the price of these shoes, since they were sandals, after all. When they arrived, though, I was quite pleased. They fit very well and felt great. I needed them for the beach, and they work well for that, but they are also great for comfortable weekend shoes. I'm glad to have bought them.

This is my second pair of Newport H2. (My first pair was eaten by my dog.) Great pair of all-purpose sandals. I live and work in the city and walk extensively. Extremely comfortable, durable, provide great support, and are high-quality. They last a long time. I have a number of Keen products highly recommend the brand.

I was very happy with these shoes the first 4 or 5 times that I wore them. Unfortunately, after wearing them a few times, I noticed that the stitching on the labels of both shoes was coming off and that a small hole had formed on the left side, under the stitching. When I called customer service, the rep told me that another person had called earlier in the day to report a similar problem. They were very comfortable, but it might be best to avoid them until they get this problem sorted out. By the way, Zappos customer service was excellent in dealing with the return!

I love Keen sandals, this is my second pair (the first one lasted 2 years). Overall, another good sandal but I do have a weird complaint. These things stink! I do not normally have stinky feet. My previous Newports were leather and never got funky. These things melt down after just a few minutes of wearing them and end up smelling horrible. My wife was the first to notice, now I have become very aware of their smell. I wonder if it has something to do with either the new footbed or the new anti-bacterial treatment that they use on it. I hope to find a solution to the stink, but, for now, it is the only thing keeping me from giving these a 5 star rating.

Great shoe for outdoor activities. I hiked, biked, rafted, and played in the water while wearing this shoe. It was completely comfortable during all of these activities!

My kids have been wearing Keens for a while and I liked the way they look. They are the most comfortable sandal I have worn.

Half size bigger fit perfect! Very comfortable shoes in and out of the water.

I love my Newports! I got these shoes for our summer vacation to a lake. They were perfect for getting the boat and jet ski in and out of the water. Very comfortable- spent a day at an amusement park and did a lot of walking. I would highly recommend these Keens.

Very comfortable sandals with great toe protection. Very good looking as well. They even have reflective stitching sewn in. I measure a 12 wide, and the 13 D fits me well, so I would say they run a bit small but wide. The only issue I have is that stitching on inside ankle panel of both shoes came apart after one weekend of hiking. This was with a brand new pair, only 2 weeks old.

I'm not one to write reviews, however, this sandal is, in my opinion, very good, especially with respect to quality and appearance. I normally wear a size 10 Medium to Wide street shoe. Bought this to wear without socks. Forefoot appears wide in appearance, however my toes were not cramped at all. Very attractive color combination. My only complaints are two and would have liked more 'air space openings' and sole is sort of 'stiff' and does not flex easily. It's sort of 'clunks' when I walk. But these are new and have not walked anywhere except inside. When broken in, maybe they will be different. Quality appears very good.

I ordered a pair of Keen Newport sandles and was very pleased with the style, fit and comfort. They fit perfectly and I have had many compliments on how they look.

I wore these right out of the box and walked around Las Vegas for five days, and I mean walked. I had to look down periodically to make sure I had something on my feet, that's how comfortable they were. We even walked around the desert canyons and they offered very good traction and support. I actually bought another pair before we left, but only took one pair. I didn't need anything else. Great shoe and, as always, great dealing with Zappos. Buy a half size up. I had to return the first pair for sizing.

These are very comfortable! I wanted something that was more comfortable than a flip-flop for longer distance walks.

My very fussy 14 year old son loves these. The first time he tried them on he found them very comfortable; no break-in needed. He likes that they completely protect his toes/feet. He's worn them when just walking around but also when white water rafting and kayaking. They are heavy and clunky but he doesn't seem to mind. They were true to size for his feet (which are on the wide side).

These are comfortable as all get out! They are ridiculously comfortable, and relatively light (in terms of weight). I love them! They are the perfect summer shoe!

I've had these shoes for a few weeks now. I love them. They are open enough to breathe well, but a little more dressy than a fully open toed shoe.

I got these for my husband to replace his Tevas. He likes the Keens. Great for playing around in the river. However, they obviously don't dry as fast as Tevas. He also bikes to work in the keens and likes the protection over the toe.

These are the best all around sandals for an active lifestyle. I've tried the other Keen sandals and they simply don't match up in terms of fit and construction. These Newports are waterproof, don't acquire foot odor, stand up to rock scrambling, mud, all-water sports, long hikes, you name it. Try a half size up from your usual. That worked for me.

I love my Keens I have worn them walking the dog, grocery shopping and wading the James River smallmouth bass fishing. Quick to break in, very comfortable.

Excellent for walking around on vacation, miles in the heat. No blisters. Very good shoe.
