I bought these as a birthday gift for my husband, who loves all things orange. They were an instant hit; they've become his new favorite warm weather shoes. We both enjoy wearing Keen shoes and sandals; they have proven to be great for travel.

Very comfortable and suitable for casual around town wear, as well as at the beach or even hiking! I love to wear sandals when I hike, even in rocky terrain, and used to hike in open-toe Tevas nearly exclusively. Now, I usually hike in my Newport H2s because the toe guard is awesome! They feel good, dry relatively quickly, and don't look too nerdy when worn with socks :) My only complaint, which has been noted by other reviewers, is that the sides underneath the ankles seem to come unstitched way too easily. I just bought my fourth pair (about once a year!) because they don't last too long. However, my roommate has had his first pair for 4 years and has not had that problem. Overall, a nice sandal, but that stitching problem needs to be taken care of.

I bought these for my son for a Christmas present, and he says he absolutely loves them. He lives in Yosemite National Park, and he will get a lot of use out of them in the warmer months. He usually hikes hundreds of miles in a year.

This is 2nd pair of H2 and have regular Newports. The H2 are great, comfort-wise but both pair came apart where the backstraps come together at the ankles. Got less than a year's wear on each of H2 because the straps wore in two.

Purchased for husband. He loves them! Super comfortable. He is normal a 9 1/2 wide. Purchased the size 10 and it fits perfectly.

These are awesome, best sandal, hiking everything shoe, even walking in the snow wasn't too bad in them and for rafting trips perfect. I had a blister the first day but I also walked 10 miles in them with no socks, but still had a smile on my face!

This is my second pair of the Keen Newport H2, but the first time purchasing from Zappos.com. First, the shoe. Obviously I liked it well enough the first time that I bought a second pair. The advice to purchase a 1/2 size larger is correct. They fit great right our of the box. I've worn the first pair for several years now and they are still in good shape. Purchased the 2nd pair to use on a Caribbean cruise because we are taking several excursions which require walking and water sports. These shoes work perfectly for those combination of activities. Next Zappos. This company was excellent to deal with. I purchased the Keens on sale, so the price was great, but shipping was equally impressive. The shoes arrived in 3 days after I ordered online late at night. (Note: My wife had to return a pair because of size issues and the new shoes arrived in 2 days.) The whole buying experience using Zappos was first rate and we will be purchasing from them again.

Great shoes. I bought them to go cave tubing in Belize. Until now - I hated sandals and I now find these super comfortable with great support for hiking through the jungle. They do take a while to dry but are wearable wet with no discomfort.

You will not find a better walking sandal. I put lots of miles on these shoes, and my feet never once hurt. Hey, and you can trust Zappos for the best price and shipping.

These felt very comfortable walking on streets and fully submerged in water with a rocky, coral bottom. They were purchased because of a recent trip to Tahiti where it was strongly recommended to have some sort of water shoe (Not flip flops). My feet were completely protected. I'm very satisfied with my purchase. I was surprised at how comfy they were.

I've been using this hybridization of sandals and shoes for about 3 weeks in and around an ocean environment. As far as comfort goes, right out of the box they fit like a glove...for my feet. The arch support is excellent, noticeable support without overdoing it. The construction is fantastic, utilizing superior materials. The stitching is also top-notch and very professional. The molded plastic sole of the shoe is pretty bulky and the shoe is somewhat heavy but that's the price you're going to pay for the protection and durability of the shoe. The shoes do tend to develop a funk after a couple of days of use but a quick bath and they're good to go. As far as the look, I was a little apprehensive on first glance out of the box but after some days of use I quickly got over it and have actually been complimented of them numerous times. The utility far, far outweighs the unusual style. So far I'm very happy with the purchase and I would definitely recommend them. True to my size (11) but the toe protection area seems wider than necessary.

My husband absolutely loved these, and wore them for most of the summer. They took a few days to break in, but once he did, he wore them everywhere. To work, to the beach, on vacation and at home. (Plus our son has almost the exact same pair. So they matched! Not intentional, but super cute.)

I've owned many pairs of Keen's and am quite happy with this pair so far. The accent color keeps the black from looking too severe, I think. The usual comfort and quality you'd expect from Keen.

I bought these because I needed something sturdier than flip-flops, and more durable that water socks. I also wanted something with toe protection. These are great rugged sandals! They are very comfortable, snug, and easy enough to put on/take off. They are great for short hikes where hiking shoes are overkill, but flip-flops don't provide enough support. They have great grip too, and are good in the water. I used these in Hawaii, and was glad I bought them. They are great on rocky beaches or when you need to hike to the beach. I plan to use them on canoe trips next year. Size: I wear a 14-15 in shoes, but 13 in sandals/flip-flops. I bought these in a 13 and they felt right.

Super comfortable right out of the box. Feels like a regular shoe rather than a "sandal." Great camp shoe after a long hike in the boots. Go ahead and stand in the cool stream to cool off. I have narrow feet but didn't feel like I was slopping around inside like so many other shoes. I'm not sure what that means for a wider foot.

Comfy. Would definitely buy them again.

This is my 1st. review ever, but these were the most amazing shoes I've ever worn. 5 stars all around.

Not so great, this shoe. 3 other keens have been great. This particular shoe seems tight. I would return it, but I wore it trying to get it to stretch out. I might try another Keen.
