I bought these after a friend of mine said they were good. The only thing that I have to say that is flawed in the H2 is that the back strap is a little tight so it is sometimes hard to slip on the shoe. I wore these going to Disneyland and standing in them all day was surprisingly comfortable. And as stated on the shoe they were indeed waterproof. Came off Splash Mountain and shoes were virtually dry. The anatomical footprint on the shoe might be a little big in my case. My smaller toes fell a little short compared to the guide. The toe guard is amazing. Two people stepped on my feet while in line and didn't feel a thing.

Not a sandal guy however these are great. Foot is fairly covered and toe is protected. Definitely go up a half size...

Ordered last minute before a trip to the grand canyon white water rafting which included lots of rock climbing and trails when we got out of the rafts. These shoes fit well and were rugged and comfortable. NO blisters Audi also like them around the home now and out shopping. Great support and Zappos service was awesome. I would recommend these shoes. I wear a 13 narrow and they fit great.

My husband loves these shoes. They fit great and had the support he needs. The service from Zappos was everything all the other reviews said it was. This will not be my last purchase from Zappos.

I tried the Keen NewportH2 and the Keen Turia Sandal, as well as a few other brands. The Keen shoes were the finalists. Both were a bit small for the size tso there was a tie on that. The Newport H2 was a relatively tighter fit around the foot and toes. That made it harder to get on and more snug once on the foot. I liked the look of the Keen Newport H2, but preferred the relatively more spacious feel of the Turia.

Returned. I was disappointed because the arch/inner sole on one sandal was defected. It has a bump under the the rubber that irritated the side of my foot.

Great shoe from Keen that is very comfortable and required no breaking in prior to wearing hiking or general use...

These do seem to run about 1/2 size small. They are pretty comfortable but do rub my pinky toes a little. I don't get a blister or any soreness, but I do feel it happening. I ordered these to use as a summer shoe, but they just don't let my feet breathe enough. The closed to area is great for protection, but it really makes your feet hot. I had hear that mentioned in other reviews, but was really surprised on how hot my feet stay with these on. I also wish they offered better colors. I got the Brindle/Orion Blue. It's basically a light gray color. I like it but wish they offered something like a brown. Overall I like them but not as much as I thought I would.

I live on Lake Lanier where we experience hot to moderate weather almost year round. Wearing sandals is a nice daily option. I have three pair of Keen sandals (different colors) and wear them year round. My oldest pair is over three years old and look and fit like new. You will not find a better made sandal.

I purchased a pair of these Newport H2's for every member of the family prior to our mountain vacation. My husband loved these shoes and he is very picky! He wore them hiking, zip linig, river tubing, to an amusement park and a water park. He said they were the most comfortable shoes he's ever worn. The fact that they are this durable and waterproof and can be worn in any environment is a huge advantage. We are thrilled with the quality of Keen shoes and we definitely purchase again. If you are looking for a great all-around outdoor shoe - you've found it!

These shoes are awesome. Great for hiking and walking around town. This is my first pair of Keens and I love them. Sorry that I waited so long and wasted money on other brands. They are worth every dollar.

I bought these shoes for my husband because he needed a multipurpose shoe. They're great in the water, walking the dogs or light hikes. When they get dirty you just scrub them up and they're good as new. Shoes don't get more comfortable than a Keen. Zappos has the best service of any company that I have dealt with. You never feel like you've made a mistake buying on line.

Bought theses for a vacation in Florida. They are very comfortable and the traction is great. They never once slipped on a wet surface.

I don't like sandals, in general. I'm one of those dorks who is always in sneakers and socks and shorts in the summer, much to the chagrin of my wife, who thinks the sandal look is cool. That said, it became clear that I needed something to wear around the beach, the pool, the yard, whatever, so I got these. All in all, I'm happy -- they address my major sandal gripe in that that they fit securely while they are still cooler and more water-friendly than sneakers and socks. I would echo that they run a bit small -- I ordered a 10.5 and an 11 which are my usual size range, and even the 11s I kept are a bit hard to pull on which is unusual for me. (While they're very comfortable once on, I could easily have gotten away with 11.5s.) All in all, though, I'm happy. Maybe I'll even wear them on the street.

As others have indicated, comfortable, true to size and good arch support. I have a high instep so at first they were tight going on, with socks; later on they fit good with or without socks. I don't believe they stretch that one can notice, they just hug your feet and are great walking.

If you have a high instep steer clear! I have a pair of Keen winter boots I love, but these things just couldn't accommodate my high instep. Look at the Teva Omnium instead.

First of all, I love these shoes! This is the first pair of Keen's that I have owned. I bought them specifically for use around the beach. With the other sandals that I have had, I found that the opening in the front tended to funnel sand under my feet making walking uncomfortable. The Keen's have a closed front that prevents the funneling of sand under your foot. They are super comfortable and easy to wash off with the hose at the end of the beach access. They dry quickly. In short, I was totally satisfied with my purchase. On note of consideration, I had read a review that said that the sizing was about 1/2 size too small. I found that this was great advice for me.

Really comfortable, true to size. Wore them all around town on a trip to Breckenridge, CO with my son and thoroughly enjoyed the 'go anywhere' quality of these shoes

Very please with how fast this sandals came in and how they fit would buy from you all again and again and again!

Purchased as an anniversary present for my husband. He put them on immediately and commented on how comfortable they were and easy to get on. He has not worn his old Born sandals again! This is the fourth pair of Keen shoes he has owned and finds them all very comfortable to wear.

This is my second pair of Newport H2 shoes. They are very comfortable, and rugged. They can take you anywhere. I always have to order half a size larger than my normal, though, as they run just a bit short.

These sandals have been great! I wore them for a week at Disney during a tropical storm and had no foot pain or blisters. They dry fairly quickly.

Do you ever get that feeling people are glaring at you? Well I do now... because the horrific smell that originates at my feet could kill a goat. I don't have foot odor, never have until now, anyway. The anti-microbial touted to keep these shoes and your feet smelling fresh and clean is completely ineffective, and after just three weeks of occasionally wearing these shoes the smell of my feet could gag a maggot. Only when wearing these shoes for now, but I fear it may become persistent if I continue to wear these shoes. Therefore, I think this pair of shoes is destined to go the way of the dinosaurs before they've even been fully broken in. Very sad, considering the price of these Keen Newport H2's. Otherwise I like them - look good, pretty comfortable, but WOW! do they have the ability to clear the sinuses of those unfortunate enough to wander close by. This is one time I wish I could get my money back, because I consciously decided to give these a try largely because of the anti-microbial claim. They've never been wet or anything, it's simply due to normal use. I wouldn't buy these again, and I'd definitely caution anyone who considers them. I rarely write bad reviews and I'm very happy with Zappos, but in my book the Keen Neport H2 gets a big thumbs-down.

Great fit and well made. It took 10 years to wear out my last pair and I expect these will go that same distance. The sole is improved, better grip on rough stuff yet a little more comfortable on the foot. The color is a great light tan color, a welcome change from the typical dark Keen colors.
