Ordered these after buying Newports and thinking that I might want a different material for the upper. Ordered in an 11 which is a perfect fit in Newport but I can't even get my foot in them in the Newport H2. Why are 11's so different in virtually the same shoe? Returning. Also, the color pattern on this one is a bit odd.

More than a "shoe" company, Zappos is the organization on which all customer service organizations should model themselves. Now for the Keens. I've tried many models, many styles and many brands but these just work. Easy to get on and keep on, I use these for canoeing, biking and general everyday use. The quality is beyond top notch and the fit, and I wear a wide shoe, is perfect.

I'm giving these 4 stars because I owned a similar pair of Keens and loved them for years. These have to go back, I'm sorry to say, because they are definitely too narrow; my little toe is jammed against my next toe. Sadness... I like the style. I was a little hesitant too buy the red and grey ones because I thought they might look too garish, but the red is a little more toned down than I see in the picture. If you have narrowish feet, by all means, give these a try.

I bought these for use near and in water. They serve that function well. As a general summer sandal have more coverage than I'd want, but are great for serious walking and hiking.

I have a wide foot and arthritis in my two big toes. I get mens rather than women's for the extra width. This is my second pair of Newports. I pretty much wear them every day. That said, my first pair lasted 3 years.

The style of this sandal was ok, but the big black rubber toe cap was a bit much, as in too large. It also did not have any arch support, and it was very heavy. The heaviness was due to the large amount of rubber in the toe cap. It felt a bit like I was walking around in clogs as they slapped down on my wooden floors in my house, during test walk. Not light like I think sandals should be. It was also difficult for me to pull the back strap over my heel to get the sandal on. Not like it was too small, it was the correct size for my foot, just the fact that the back strap was not adjustable made it a tight fit to pull over my heel - it would have been a real pain to do this the 100,000 times I would have had to do it over the life of the sandal. I went with the Teva Omnium Leather. The Teva felt much lighter, had a smaller rubber cap on the toes, had velcro straps on the top and back, plus a buck on the top strap, and had better arch support. The Teva is much easier to get off/on your foot, feels nice and light, and gives you some arch support in your foot - makes you feel like you could go for a trail run in them.

Keen makes the best product in this style and market bar none. My family and I have bought over 30 pair of various styles over the years and have never had a fit, wear or style problem.

I bought these as a follow-on to my Newport "originals" with leather upper, which have started to smell funky after four years of heavy use and abuse. Although my original Newports are size 13D, the H2 sandals felt small, and I ended up exchanging them for size 14D. The canvas upper is just as comfortable as the leather. These truly are very similar to the original Newports, but the heel strap seems to be just a little different, resulting in a slightly more stable feel. Took them hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park where they performed admirably. A solid pair of shoes worthy of the Keen name.

These were really comfortable, but a little too wide and I have a wide foot. The style itself is exaggerated wide-looking, which looked a little too clunky on me.

I got these for my husband. He loves the protective toe cap and everything else about these sandals. They don't look bad with dark socks when worn with pants. He gets lots of compliments from other men.

Got these and then found similar ones at Gander Mountain, but they sucked. Kept my Zappos and went on vacation. Texas back country and wore them everyday. Hiking, fishing and shooting. Great shoe and delivered right to my door. Thanks guys.

Just arrived today and find them to be very comfortable. First pair was returned because of sizing. Generally wear a 10 1/2 shoe and ordered accordingly. Needed to return and reorder size 11. These sandals run a bit small. Order half size up!

Haven't had for long as far as durability but they seem well made and comfortable. I ordered true to my normal shoe size even though some have said to order a size larger. They look small but fit perfectly so I'm glad I didn't add any extra yardage to my already generous size 12 clodhoppers!

My husbands absolutely loves the Newport Keens! They fit true to size for him and are super comfy! Zappos has the best customer service!
