very nice sandal, excellent support

I bought these for my husband, who is not a "sandal person." We are doing 2 weeks of walking in Portugal and he wanted an option for when his feet are tired of being in his trail shoes. He typically wears a 9.5, however I had to return those and get a 10. He has fairly wide feet. :-) But I still love him very much! He hasn't worn them for any longer walks yet. He said they are very comfy and his feet feel supported and nice and "airy." I will write a follow up review after our trip in September. I know Keen are an excellent brand, which many of our friends have recommended. Zappos as always, does a stellar job on price and delivery. I mean who ships stuff for free anymore, without a minimum order, or paying a yearly membership...yes you know who I am talking about.

Disappointing. There is very little give in the soles, and these resist mainly from the outside edge, producing an odd tilt. The result for me was heel and hip pain after just a few hours of wear, and still with me after a night's sleep. They are going to the charity shop.

This is my.... (thinking...) 6th pari of H2's. This is the first time in years of buying these sandals that I was disappointed. Did Keen change their manufacturing location or process? I've always taken a size 10 in these until this purchase. The 10's were way smaller in feel and sitting side-by-side my 2 year old existing pair of H2's. Actually had to purchase a size 11 and I can tell you at my age my feet are not growing. The other main difference is the feel and comfort has changed. My footbed in my older sandals (all my H2's were purchased here at Zappos even before amazon purchased them) is a different material than this recent purchase. Not as comfortable. Kinda bummed as these sandals have provided me with miles and miles of outdoor activities. My Keen Uneek O2's are now my favorite but unfortunately they are not meant for trail and running around with the dog. Not nearly the support. Maybe someone at Zappos reading this can confirm (or deny) that Keen changed something in their manufacturing process. Cause there is no way this new pair is close to my older pairs of H2's in size or quality.

I really wanted to love these shoes, they are comfortable and great for boating/hiking. I bought a pair each for myself and my 2 sons primarily for an 8 day Grand Canyon rafting trip. I wore them a few times prior to the trip and exclusively while on the trip. I have worn them for evening walks since the trip, but noticed they have started falling apart at the strap near the heel on both of my shoes. My kids' have remained intact. They felt perfect on the trip and served their purpose well, but I cannot endorse them for falling apart after a month. My feet are fairly wide in comparison to my sons, so maybe that is something to keep in mind.

Extremely comfortable. I bought 1 size larger as the toe area is enclosed. Am glad I did.

I received the sandals about a week ago and I have been wearing them every day since. On several of those days I have walked more than 5 miles. At all times, the sandals remained comfortable and supported my feet very well. I would purchase them again

I really wanted to love these. I live in the PNW and they're popular here for good reason. The option to hike in something that breathes and can live in the water too is great, and then if it cools off just put a pair of socks on. No need to have 3 different pairs of shoes. Unfortunately they just didn't work for me. They look great. The lace pull thing is handy. However, the neoprene lining against the foot doesn't allow nearly as much air to move around as you would think looking at all the openings in the upper. The normal Keen wide toe box is awesome, and the toe cap is nice too. However these felt 1/2 to 1 size too small. In fact with socks on my toes hurt after wearing them for a short while. I considered just going one size up to fix that part, but... Since not so much air moves through, my feet (even without socks) did not breathe. And the footbed is rather firm so my feet sort of stuck to them like suction cups. As such my feet sweat badly, and within a few hours of wear my feet STUNK taking them off. This happens to me in any shoe I attempt to wear without socks except flip flops. Last but not least because they are strapped firmly to my feet, any dirt that got in there just got compacted under my foot and either became concrete on my feet or on the footbed. And the footbed didn't clean as easily as I expected it to. In short they're cool looking and a great idea, but they just didn't work for me. I'll stick to flip flops for being cool, and wearing hikers to hike. I'm trying some breathable Columbia shoes to have a summer all around walker instead.

I have been wearing Keens for years so decided to order my husband a pair to wear at the lake on and on our boat as mine do not leave marks on the boat and are waterproof. I ordered the H2 and Hydro style for him. He normally wears a 10 1/2 dress shoe and I ordered the 11 which was the right length. He chose the Hydro's because it was a less bulky shoe,lighter and had a narrower fit on his foot. He really liked the arch support in it too.

Quality control has slipped over the years. This is my third pair. While the length and width seem to be about the same, the size of the opening that you must put your foot through to slip in is so much smaller than my past two pairs, though they were the exact same size as these new ones. Really have to fight to get the sandals on, but then the fit is fine. I should send them back but figure a good workout every morning trying to put my shoes on will be good for me. We'll se...

Extremely comfortable, good looking and great support. I use them for wet wading while fly fishing and they are fantastic on tricky and slippery river bottoms. The enclosed toe is a key feature for protecting your feet...

I love the sandals, but they fell apart too quickly. Stiching at he back loop and at a side seam has given way. I have worn them about 8 hours a week for 8 of the 15 months I've had them. They get light use, mostly on flat dirt trails and the occassional stream. The seam-thread appears to be light cotton rather than some stronger nylon, which should have been used.

I really liked these shoes at first - great color and fit. I wore them as much as I could (weekends and evenings mostly). I was challenged that they wore out so quickly. The "uppers" started peeling apart from the shoe in March. Today I had to retire them because they were physically hurting my feet.

Bought these for my boyfriend to wear at the lake. Now he wears them everywhere!

Excellent closed-toe sandals. Good for walking. Dry quickly.

The keen h2 holds true to name outstanding shoe true to size,quality,and versatile ability.

My husband is one that never wants to spend money on himself but once I bought these sandals for him he was grateful. He has plantar fasciitis and I read a review how these sandals were good for his condition. He has not taken them off since. Since buying them, I now see people wearing the Keen Newport all around town.

The Keen Newport H2 is an excellent shoe that wears beautifully and is super durable. The fit is true to size, and the support is excellent and very comfortable. I've had my pair for well over a year and the soles have not worn down much at all, and offer great traction. The quality and build are absolutely superior- and Zappos customer service is always excellent.

The left shoe was true to size the right shoe was smaller, although labeled as one size. Overall poor quality in my opinion

Purchased these for a trip to Alaska. They fit perfectly and look great. Better than my original pair of classic Keen Sandler’s which her heavy, too wide and never seemed to fit properly.

These are rugged sandals for active lifestyles. They are not extremely comfortable (or I have not broken them in yet); I would not venture a long hike as of yet. I have very short, wide feet; these fit very well; shoes are usually, even the wide one, tight in the width; not these. They are a bit of a hassle to get on, but once they are on, they feel solid - no moving around. These are solid enough to where one could do yard work in them with no issue, which I will likely end up doing.
