My husband loves these sandals! He has big, meaty ham hocks for feet, so shoes can be difficult to find, especially sandals. We ordered is normal size and they fit perfectly. He can’t wait for the warmer weather now!

This are great shoes. I order a pair every year. Would not be summer without a pair.

These sandals fit very snugly and not too tight! I’m loving the way my bunion is hidden!

The shoe is all I expected, Have not had a chance to use them yet due to cancelling our trip to Maui. I will submit another review once I get to try out. Mahalo

I bought these primarily for protection when climbing around lava rock, if we ever get to go on our vacation, and have found they are very comfortable and far more flexible than expected. I also have Keen safety shoes at work and they, again, have more comfort than you typically get from such a shoe.

Pretty disappointed in Keen. Used to be a great brand. These were basically falling apart right out of the box. The straps were visibly separated from the footbed and the glue and bonding were lazy at best. Pass on these.

At least a full size too small. I used your system to calculate size based on my previous NewBalance purchases (size 9.5 - EEE or EEEE). Your system recommended 9.5 in the only width (Med) that exists for this sandal. I oculdn't get my foot into it at all. Bummed. Need it for a vacation soon. Will try again, with larger size. Thanks.

I love Keen's sandals and after giving my Newport's away during my last vacation, I wanted to try the fancy ones I got. The sizing was strange...as my feet have grown...so had to send my first attempt back and get a half size larger...which fit perfectly. Thank you Zappos for making that so easy and smooth. Love you.

We're headed to a place with sharp volcanic rock and these sandals came recommended. Also, I wear Keen's at work on the manufacturing floor, and it's a comfortable shoe, however, I wasn't expecting a comfortable sandel. The base is very comfortable, it fits very nicely into my arch that I've always felt was on the high side, and the sole's flexibility is well designed/engineered. The upper fits nicely and I have no concerns of rubbing. Job well done Keen designers and engineers. I hope I can edit this later to add a pic on these wandering around the volcanic rock.

Arch support is not acceptable

I recently purchased the Newport 2 and found it ran shorter and narrower than the original Newports. I have worn the original Newport in the past size 8, I normally wear a 7 EW(3E). They fit just perfect in length and width. So going by my experience I would say the original Newports run wider than a D width and run shorter by 1/2 to 1 size. I returned the 2's and purchased another pair of Newports. Great in the Summer walking all over. Dry very fast if you get them wet.

Keen Newport H2's are my GO TO shoes. I wear a size 12 and they fit true to size perfectly. My foot is a bit narrow but I can tighten these to get that perfect fit. Materials are top notch. I love that I can throw these in wash! They are open but I wear socks with them in the winter...don't judge, and enjoy them all year.

Got these for my husband to replace a pair from several years ago. True to size. Comfortable. Versatile. They've become our go to vacation shoes. Great for long distance walking, warm weather hiking, and getting wet.

True to size, appears very well made (and on this continent, to boot). Waterproof was important because this will be my kayaking shoe as well as hiking sandal in warm weather. Shipment was right on time. I should have spent this money the first time, rather than burning through lots of $15 sale sandals.

I ordered the same size [9.5] as an earlier version of the same shoe. The new pair is slightly smaller, perhaps 1/2 a size smaller. I can wear them and will not return. Perhaps they will stretch a bit.

Really hard to get on. Poor design.

I wear Keen's year round and love them. So much, in fact, I ordered some for my 99-year-old father. With the adjustable strap system, I had hoped they would work even though he wears a brace for his drop-foot. Unfortunately, ordered his normal athletic shoe size and it did not work over his brace. He had to go up a size and a width which made the other foot too loose. I really wish it had worked for him as the lace and slider would have been perfect. The above stars are for my set of Keen's!!

My children have grown up wearing Keens, so from the beginning I'll say that I love the Keens brand. My 12yo son has now outgrown the children's sizing, so it was time to move onto the men's section. While we really wanted to love this shoe, unfortunately, my son, who wears a men's size 9 and has a medium width foot, was unable to even get his foot into it. Try as we might, we just couldn't make it go in. There are no straps -- you just loosen up the lacing system and try to slide your foot into it. I don't think that sizing up will solve the problem here because then the shoe will be too large on him once it's on. I'm not sure what it is about the styling of this particular shoe, but for some reason it just doesn't work for my son. Hopefully if we try another style with a different way to get into the shoe, we'll have better luck.

Great water shoe, I trekked the Amazon jungle wearing these, good not great traction in mud, lol. Great traction when we would walk the dugouts over the shallow areas. Yes my foot was soaking wet and they only got a chance to completely dry out when I got home but it is a rainforest!

These are my husbands favorite shoes. They are about the only shoe he wears in the summer and as soon as he comes home from work they are the shoes he changes in to.

I liked these sandals after I half-sized up from 10.5 to 11. However, I found the Rialto II to be more comfortable in terms of cushioning and an adjustable rear strap. I bought them, though they are more expensive, and returned the H2.

The sandals are comfortable although kind of tight on the right foot and not so much the left. Most people have one foot larger/smaller than the other so, in my case, a half size larger would not work for both. After wearing them for awhile, it did not seem so much a problem. The foot bed is comfortable and they will be perfect for my planned 5 month travel in South America next year. I need an all around shoe-like sandal like the KEEN Newport H2 to cover all situations. At the end of 5 months will be a better time to a review this product when they have gone through an endurance test of everyday walking on different terrain.

I'm still breaking them in, so DO NOT BASE YOUR DECISION on this review. They are a bit tighter than expected, but I trust they will relax with time. Style is beyond what I'd hoped, and the foot pad is truly sized correctly, as is the width. The upper is more constraining than my previous Keen shoes so I'm giving great levity. As they say, 'try them on while on carpet and make an informed decision'. I think we're going to get along fine, though.

The sandals felt comfortable but are quite heavy. They are advertised to be good in and out of water so I bought these as sandals to wear while sailing getting in and out of the water quite a bit during the summer. They held up for one year and then started falling apart the next. Basically the glue comes undone on the web being that attaches it to the sole also you can see from the photograph that the pull on tab at the heel had broken as well. I felt for the price they really did not hold up as I would expect since I only use these a couple of months in one summer. Basically I'm giving one star because the lack of durability.
