I generally like my new shoes. They are certainly well made and will last a long time. However, my PREVIOUS pair of Keen's were better! They had a velcro side strap which made them VERY EASY to put on. These are more difficult to put on. You should make the shoes/sandals with the velcro side strap available again.

I bought these at REI just shy of one year ago this month. Within the same week the toe cap on the left shoe became detached from the rest of the shoe on the top side. Then a couple days later the rear anchor point on the right shoe came out of the footbed.
This was my second pair of this model of Keen shoes and the first pair last 8+ years. I don't know what's going on with Keen quality but sure would be nice if they addressed it because this latest pair was a total let down.

The footprint of the sole was wide but inside it raises up on each side from the "floor" of the footbed at the ball of the foot and this doesn't work with my wide feet.

My closet is full of keens, a pair for nearly ever occasion. Various hiking conditions, kayaking, around the house, gardening (some great colors, some not so great but functional) good or bad? I cant seem to wear them out. Guess KEEN will have to design casual going out at night shoes (please!)

This is the third pair of the same shoe, so something must be right! Not the most attractive of shoes but boy are they comfortable and practical. Use for everything from hiking to kayaking to fishing to walking around town. There's a reason these are so popular over the years.

I have purchased many different Keen shoes over the years and have been more than happy with the overall durability and quality of their products. Unfortunately the Newport H2's are an exception. The soles on both pairs I own quickly become hard as a rock, losing their ability to grip on smooth surfaces (i.e, rocks!) making them downright dangerous. Especially so in wet conditions. When I contacted Keen customer service to inquire about a possible remedy for this condition I was told to just replace them with some new ones. Yeah right!! I've had only had them three years. That's a pretty short lifespan for two pairs of $105 shoes.

There are narrower than Newport H2s of the past. This used to be my favorite sandal but not there too narrow for my preference. Still comfortable just a bit tight now.

Shoes did not match size specified. Bought Keen sandals before and wore them out, loved them. Went to get new ones but local store didn't have my size so they came from LLBean warehouse. No issues there at all. Put them on and left foot hurt like crazy since too small even though labeled at 11.5 which was the size I had before. Local store took them back. Need to go back and get a set that fits properly eventually. Seems like a manufacturing issue or screw up.

The Sandler looks nice but wearing it is very uncomfortable. The design makes it difficult to put it on and slip my foot inside plus if you wear socks, it fits too tight. I cant suggest buying it.

The fit on the size 11 1/2 is dramatically different from 15 years ago. I bought these as a replacement to my old Keens and found the size 13 is exactly the same size as my old 11 1/2 shoe. My foot measures 11 3/8 inches, which should have made a 11 1/2 size shoe a perfect fit. It wasn't. It took me 3 attempts with each one increasing by a half size until I actually fit in the new shoe. A size 13! I also bought the new Keen Walking shoe in a size 12, which is a little too big for me, but I prefer my shoes to be slightly larger. That being said, that style was true to size. The same can't be said for their Newport H2 shoe. Go bigger if you are ordering one.
