An amazing hybrid - A family member was raving about these shoe/sandal hybrids at the last family holiday gathering and so I decided to give them a try and I certainly have no regrets! This shoe allows your feet to breathe, has great support and comfort, good arch, and are even waterproof, everything you should expect from a hybrid. The only negative I have is the H2 is rather heavy compared to shoes I normally wear, but that's not enough to bring the score down for me. No more sweaty feet for me thanks to Keen's Newport H2s!

One mans' opinion - This sandal is well made and good looking. I followed the advice of others and originally ordered a half size bigger(9) than normal(8.5). My little toe snagged on the strap while walking. I told Zappos I needed a size smaller and Zappos speedily sent me a 8.5. The 8.5 does not snag my little toe but they are hard to get on. Once on however I find them a pleasure to wear. This is not the shoe to put on if the house is on fire. For the I think I can find better sandals for my boxy feet. I cannot say enough positive remarks about Zappos. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

Awesome sport sandal - Trust me on this one....I'm not a sandal guy normally but this is the one to change all of that. I bought these to wear to the parks this summer hanging with my kids. Disney, Universal and Busch Gardens. Let me tell you these are the best shoes I've ever worn on HOT days walking a lot. They are very supportive, comfortable and easy on your eyes. They are waterproof too so you can get on the water rides with no problem. I'm a big guy and these work great. Buy them and you won't be disappointed...and even if you are Zappos has the best return policy on the planet. Do it...

A Winner - The versatility and comfort are terrific. It has become my favorite footwear.

love em to death - I live right next to the ocean and am extremely active, so I needed a shoe that could handle both the pounding of a tennis court, and the subsequent dip in the water immediately following. These shoes can handle that and much more. The toe guard is a blessing, the shoes fit snuggly with both width and length, and as a bonus arent quite the ugliest things ive ever laid eyes on. These puppies dry quickly also which is wonderful, no more damp socks and sneakers.

Love them - Other than sizing them up a half-size more than usual they're just totally comfortable, very supportive, and the enclosed toe gives lots of safety.

Reviewing Keen Newport H2 - I had seen a female friend wearing the same shoe, and I was in the market for a sandal. Two years ago I had an accident where I crushed my left heel and sloughed off a piece of tibia on my right leg. I had worn sandals frequently and was concerned that I would not be able to wear them again. Then I saw the Newport H2 and decided, after reading reviews, to try it. I did order it 1/2 size larger than I normally take, and I was wise to do this. The shoe fits perfectly and I am very pleased with my purchase. Zappos.com delivered the shoe in record time! I would use purchase this shoe again using Zappos.com.

Keen Newport H2 - AWESOME SANDAL! I bought these for a camping trip in the Smoky mountains. They were excellent in the river and just as good walking around in. Very comfortable. Very stable. I'm glad I got them from Zappos. Best price and the BEST customer service anywhere!!!

Love my Keen Newport H2s - Okay, these take a little getting used to. . .especially the looks. However, I wore them straight out of the box without breaking them in at all and had no problems. They are extremely comfortable. A little difficult to get on, but no more so than most shoes. They are NOT what you would want if you are going to take them on and off often. If you want a nice comfortable "shoe" to wear this summer, you can't go wrong with this one.

Tennessee River Foot Hold - This is a great shoe to get out and about in the water. Excellent traction gives the shoe grip at the marina and boat deck. The rocks don't have a chance at getting to your feet when you beach the boat on the sand and gravel. Fully covered rubber toe holds up to occasional bumps and dings from anchor, chairs, coolers, etc. The shoe also looks great! What more could you ask for this summer?

Comfy, great for walking, great summer shoes - This is a fantastic shoe. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because if you get a pebble or dirt in your shoe, it's impossible to get it out without taking the shoe off. 4.9 stars.

I rate the shoe at a 5+ (already owned a pair and knew they were a good shoe), but I give Zappos.com a 10 for quality, service, shipping, price and ease of navigation for the website. My husband LOVES his new Keens - I got these shoes for my husband for his birthday - he LOVES them. As soon as he got them, we went out for a one-hour dog walk. He said he has no blisters, no hot spots. He has high arches, but felt he got enough support. He loves that they are cool, like sandals, but still protect his toes. He also likes that they are waterproof. He's been encouraging me to get a pair for myself.

You Will Never Take Them Off - These shoes were made for walking...and biking, and kayaking, and hanging out. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Now my husband has a pair, and the girl down the street. I tell everyone about them and the news is spreading. I have high arches and this is the first shoe to really energize my feet. When I take a long walk I always want to go even longer. If you can only afford one new pair of shoes, these are the one pair to buy. Order a half size up.

great shoes - My husband has broken the bones in his feet as a child and he has a great deal of difficulty finding comfortable shoes. He loved his keen shoes. Wore them all the time on the beach, hiking and shopping with me.

Great Sandal and great service - I was not sure what to expect when I ordered these. I was looking for something with more support and a sandal that protected the toes more. I was very impressed with the fit of these sandals. I was able to walk an entire day with no discomfort at all. I would recommend the Keen's Newport H2 to anyone. I would also like to comment that the service at Zappos was amazing. The experience of buying shoes at Zappos is much better than any other on line store, and even better than going to a shoe store.

Complete Satisfaction - This shoe is just what I was looking for. Great protection for the toes, lot's of ventilation, comfortable fit, waterproof, and durable. Size was 1/2 size small. But no big deal. New ones in 2 days, and returning the first order was free. Customer service was great also! I'll be ordering again...soon.

Great for wide folks - I wear a new balance 14 EEEE and was told by a friend that these sandals were wide. It's true! I have no problem with the width. In fact, they fit so well, I'd err on cautioning people with narrow feet to think twice before buying the newport H2. These shoes need a little bit of breaking in; they are not super-duper comfortable right out of the box. After a half a dozen wears or so, some of the stiffer areas and "sharp" edges (slight irregularities in the synthetic stitching) worked themselves out nicely. I will probably buy a second pair soon. I prefer these to the leather ones because my feet sweat (and then smell) more in them. Stick with the H2 if you have to same problem.

Nice shoe - I bought this because I liked the looks, and was looking for a comfortable walking/hiking shoe/sandal. The comfort level, after a brief breaking in period, is off the charts. Dry or wet, it feels as if the tread is somehow magically attached to the bottom of your foot. Congratulations, Keen footwear, you have my attention.

These are the ones - I spent some serious search time looking for rugged, supportive sandals. Tried several other good brands, then found Keens. I liked the combination of lightness, fit, arch support and ruggedness. I even like the looks of the rubber tip! Except for fashion fanciers, you can't go wrong with these, IMHO.

Love this shoe, but... First of all, Zappos is awesome. I will definitely continue to shop here. Love the extremely fast shipping! These shoes are comfy, and I love the look, but they are really hot. If they could do something about that they would be the perfect sandal.

I LOVE THESE SHOES&ZAPPO'S!!! 1st of all - I all ready had a pair of Keens that my 6 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback ate one evening about 3 days before I placed the order. I placed the order and mistakenly did not request the shipping preference that I desired (2 DAY) I called ZAPPO'S and you can imagine my surprise when a lively young lady answered the phone!(WHAT? NO VOICEMAIL SYSTEM OR AUTOMATED MACHINE?)I gave her my order number and she told me that shipping wasn't a problem - she would upgrade me to 2 day shipping for no additional charge. I was shocked and speechless with appreciation which happens rarely these days. Thank you Zappo's.com for making my purchase such an enjoyable experience!

Best Sandal to date! These along w/ some of the Keen Boulder sandals were a pre vacation pickup before I went to Mexico w/ my better half. They were great for the purpose of a sandal, especially in the water, but were a great shoe when we were hiking around the Ruins of Chitzinitza too. We thought that we were going to need a full walking/running shoe w/ us and were glad that we had brought some, but didn't need them because of the Keens we had happily purchased. Zappos was a great choice for a retailer to buy from, they were able to fullfill our order w/ speed (They arrived a day before expected) and accuracy (brand new and exactly what we wanted). I would use them again in a heartbeat. Hope you have a great experience like I did.

Great for water and everyday wear - I got a pair of H2s last week and have worn them everyday since. No real break in time; just put them on and go. I've recommended them to friends and may buy another pair soon!
