Great for the outdoors - I use these when I go camping in the RV. There are great for wearing on the beach, in the woods, and in the rivers! The sand and mud rinse right out. On a recent trip to Costa Rica, these were the only shoes I took. Great in the mountains, climbing up (and jumping off) waterfalls, horseback riding, etc. These shoes are not cheap, but I feel they are well worth it.

Great Sandals! The fit and finish is top notch, and the colors look great. They are very comfortable on trails, streams, and on a lazy bike ride. They are warmer than I thought a sandal would be, but not uncomfortable at all. A very contoured footbed means you need to know what size you need, they seem to run the same size as my running shoes.

Different sized left and right- I purchased a pair (size 9 men’s) of Keen Newport H2s, and found them to be just a bit tight. I typically wear 8.5s or 9s in other shoes. I ordered the size 9.5 H2s and was surprised to find they felt tighter than the 9s (I still had the 9s to make a better comparison). In addition, the right 9.5 shoe was clearly larger than the left 9.5 (when placed sole to sole). I'm going to keep the 9s, but I've certainly had more comfortable sandals in the past.

FANTASTIC - These sandals are comfortable, good looking, as well as functional. I wear them every day. I have not hiked in them yet, but plan to do some light hiking in them.

Great shoe - Great shoe for all kinds of outside adventures!

If you like "sandals"- and who doesn't- then you will... ...love these Keen Newports H2's!! They are good-looking, lightweight and very practical for about every situation (except cold, wet weather). They fit well but seem to run a half size small- I normally wear a 10 but found myself fitting a 10.5. They are very easy to get on and off and last but not least the hard toe and firm arch support makes them a good choice for hiking, bicycling, rafting and most other outdoor activities. The only downside? They are a tad expensive! But then- they are incredibly comfortable and well-built and they should last for a very long time.

Outstanding! FINALLY - an open shoe that meets my needs - comfortable, durable, waterproof, grips wet decks, and looks good too! Very supportive for a sandal. The only drawbacks I've found (as mentioned by others) are that these sandals aren't much fun to wear on sandy beaches (especially when there's sticks and shells in the sand) - sand gets trapped in and is a pain to wash out. They also can get stinky (despite anti-microbial treatment). I rinse them often and toss them in the washer once in a while. Still wearing them in December in Tidewater Virginia (w/ socks) :-)

Great Sandals - Probably one of the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn. Happy feet - I have been very pleased with the Keen Newport H2. I had originally ordered a 14, but the shoes tend to run small. I reordered a 15 and the fit was perfect. I wear these shoes all the time. The best overall sandal I have ever owned.

Made for vacation- I bought the Keens for our trip to the Virgin Islands and they were perfect. Great for short, easier hikes, rocky ocean bottoms- I even wore them snorkeling. They fit perfect with no rubbing that you get from traditional sandals.

Different... excellent - I have had a pair of these for about 3 months now, and I can honestly say that they are some of the best shoes I have ever owned. The elastic laces have held up remarkably. The comfort and fit were great right out of the box and have remained to this day. They have been through all kinds of terrain and environments and show very few signs of wear. This is one tough shoe. The only thing that has ever bothered me with them is when a rock gets stuck, it usually won't fall out on its own. The styling is very unique and very cool. Get a pair asap.

H2s rock! These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned! I'd definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a lightweight ventilated shoe/sandal.

Walking the Galapagos and the Andes - I traveled to Machu Picchu, the Inca Village at 9,000'. Thou cold the shoes with socks kept me warm. Went all over the islands of the Galapagos lava rocks, wet rocks and beaches. Never a slip nor fall. Told to wear hiking boots but these were acceptable and so right.

AMAZING! I put these on right out of the box and wore them all day! No break in at all. I love the comfort, the look, and everything about these shoes! Don't hesitate, just buy them, you'll be satisfied

Great shoes - I am going to thailand and wanted to get hiking shoes and a new pair of sandals,instead I bought these so I only need 1 pair. They are so comfortable!!! Ironically, my feet tend to sweat in these and this is only sandal that has caused that.

Worth it- Hawaii on the rocks and reefs and they performed, dried quickly, then looked good... large size (14) availability greatly appreciated.

Status Symbols- I bought these for a trip to Hawaii. I'd seen people with them around town and they had an interesting look. They looked like adventure shoes. I knew I'd be doing a lot walking both in town and on long hikes through the country, so I figured I'd try them out. They were the only pair of shoes I brought for the trip and I was excited to see what they could do. When the shoes first arrived they felt a bit tight, but after walking around in them for a bit they loosened up and were nice and cozy. Due to the neoprene lining, I experienced no rubbing or chaffing. I was pleased. I was pleased until I was two miles into an old lava flow and had to stop every 100 yards to dump the rock and grit out of my shoes. The good news was the shoes held up against the razor sharp lava and I felt as nimble as a mountain goat in them. Once we got to the beach we were hiking to I continued to have problems with sand and pebbles getting in under my feet as I walked. It was then I realized that these shoes are not really hiking shoes. They're funky looking waterproof sandals and that about it. I never experienced any foot fatigue and was thankful I had them when fording large puddles and streams. But I must say I was a tad disappointed in my $100 purchase. I could have just bought some New Balance trail shoes and had a much better experience. At the end of the day, I felt suckered by something that by virtue of its design looked a lot cooler than it actually was. I got caught up.

Great Sandals - What can I say??? They're GREAT!! Very stylish and comfortable. I'm looking forward to taking them on vacation!!!

Best shoe I have ever found - I love these. They are comfortable and supportive and go well with socks when it's cold and no socks in the summer. They're really great for those of us with ugly toes.

Support Plus - I require firm arch support from any shoe I now wear. This is perfect for the use I had in mind. Not only is it very comfortable, but it is an attractive shoe. I highly recommend it for anyone.

maybe what you need - I bought these shoes to basically wade out in rivers to fish and to use on my kayak. I had been using cheap sandals but they weren't meant to be immersed in water for hours at a time and also were very slippery on rocks. The Keen Newport H2s are better in both those respects. At first I didn't think they were going to be comfortable (and they weren't) but eventually I got used to them and now I like them a lot. The bottoms are very clunky but that makes them hold up well on rocks and as an added bonus they float. The sections of the shoe are very close together (at least on the size 10s) which keeps some rocks and sand out, but the rocks and sand that DO get in don't drain well. They dry very fast and the water runs out of them very fast. I like the lacing system a lot, too. It's very easy to loosen and get them off.

Newport H2 review - durable, terrific fit for a flat footed guy, everybody asks, "Where did you get those? They're great looking sandals".

Don't advise wearing with a suit. First off, I like love these kicks, however when I wear them people look at me like I'm a nut case. I think it's because I'm wearing a suit and Tie when I wear my Keen's. I wish they had a business sandal, as I have heard my clients giggle and seen them point and snicker. I don't mind this treatment because they pay me good coin to help with the problems, so I dont care if I look like an ass because I comfy in my Green Keens. Keens rule!:) Am I a Dork? (!)

Keens H2 - I am extremely happy with this purchase. The H2 has become the only shoe I wear when not at work. They are very comfortable. The foot bed is better than some custom inserts I have had made at twice the cost. I had tried out the sandal at local stores so I was familiar with my size. Zappos offers free return and shipping was surprisingly fast. Couldn't have had a better experience.
