~ Simply Amazing ~ This shoe is perfect if you do a lot of walking. It's supportive, yet light and comfortable. It's also amphibious and looks great! And, best of all for me (as a vegetarian), it's made without leather!

Comfortable and Practical Water Shoe - I purchased a pair of theses water sandals for my husband. He had bought another pair in greenish gray on oyur California vacation last summer and wanted another in a different collor, which he described as coral. The brown is really a dark red, which he loves. They didn't have any at the store in CA this year. They had all sold out. They are very comfortable and practical and he loves the hard rubber on the front of the toes.

Keen H2 - I like this shoe, it looks very good. I ordered 1/2 size larger and it fits excellent. The only downsides I see is the toe does not have a good grip on wet surfaces; I bought this shoe for fishing. But I feel this would serve better for walking or water sports, being that the toe will slip on wet boat decks. I also found that the shoe does not dry quickly and the sole is a little rough on my feet. But I think that may be what gives it good support, so I can overlook that. I like the closed toe and it really fits snug. I wear this shoe every weekend and it looks very good. I'm going to look for another shoe for my fishing trips, but beside the fishing aspect, I think this is a great product.

First time buyer - I have given many gift certificates from Zappos but this is my first purchase for myself. My fear: would I get the right size? The return. The shoe arrive when in 2 days, looked just like the pictures, fit tight I thought maybe the wrong size? As I used the shoes they felt very secure, no rubbing on heels or toes. These shoes are a perfect fit for what they we're designed for. Dan Fl.

Great shoe! Really does fill the hybrid role well! I like the open feel of a sandal, but really want the closed toe safety of a shoe. Keen's Hybrids give both! I feel like I can go anywhere with these bad boys. No more worries of stubbing toes or scooping up a bunch of debris as with sandals. I recommend trying these on at a store to make sure the strapping hits your toes correctly (specifically your little toe). The ruggedness and waterproof qualities built in to the shoe are awesome. Very easy to keep them looking (and smelling) their best!

Keen Newport H2 Rocks - I just bought the keen Newport H2 and I love them. I wanted sandals that were different from the everyday and these are really cool and different. They are comfortable. Took a few uses to adjust the fit. They are a bit pricey but I like them. David

Keen Newport H2 - I agree with the reviewer who said the H2s are sticky to wear, and that traction in water is not what you would expect, but on the cobblestone streets of Antigua, they saved my back from hurting. I LOVED them.

Awesome in every way - Excellent fit, right from the start. You will have confidence that these shoes are well made (hey for the money you should get this right?) - The flex of the shoe is just right, the feel, the look, just works. Highly recommended! Would easily consider another pair of Keen shoes...

A real fine sandal - This is one of 5 (or 6!) pairs of different style Keen's. The Newport H2 is all that I expected for a rugged, no maintenance sandal. Excellent choice for environments that may be wet. I even use them for (on trail) day hikes! All have been excellent with the exception of a return on the 'Keen Yogui' Sandal. I did not prefer the look ... feel was real good ...the width was quite a bit wider than the other Keen Styles ... may have been a mis-marked ... returned the "Yogui" for a pair of "Keen Aruba" ... 1/2 size smaller than normal ... Customer service from Zappos is superb. This coming from someone who previously owned a mail order company!

Really like Keen Venice & Aruba models. I use the 'Keen Taos' for Mtn Bike riding - keeps my feet protected & cool !

Great shoe - Order a half size bigger. I knew this because I tried them on at a store first. Shoe is very comfortable. I can wear all day and did on a recent vacation to the lakes of Maine. As always Zappos was quick to deliver.

Good sandals. I am new to Keen's Newport. The sandals felt a little tight and not "airy" at first. After wearing them, they feel good and a very comfortable to put on. They give a better sense of support when wearing them -- I don't feel like I am going to fall out of them. They are nice looking and overall good sandals. I would recommend them to others.

Nice sandal, but not for hiking! My wife and I got the H2's for a trip to Kauai. We did 2 hikes while we were there. We love the look and fit of them although they tend to make your feet sweat and get sticky. I have a high arc and a wide foot. Very comfortable. We were attracted to the protected toe area and the fact that they could get wet. Unfortunately, the tread on these sandals do not handle wet surfaces well at all. For hiking where you run into wet conditions, they are unreliable and could cause you to lose your footing which is a bad thing on a hike (especially in Kauai). You would think because they are marketed as a "wet" hiking sandal, they would have great traction in those conditions. They do not.

Navy blue keens - I bought these as a gift for my father's 81st birthday. He likes them a lot. They fit and are comfortable. The only thing is they did not arrive by his birthday which was Sat. July 22nd. They arrived later and I ordered them the previous Monday, so make sure you order at least a week in advance.

Awesome river shoes - I practically live in the river in the summer time. Floating, fishing, cliff jumping, boating you name it we do it in the river here in western Montana all summer long. Also, I am a member of search & rescue and have been looking for a quality shoe that would perform well on land as well as in the water. The Keen Newport H2 is just that shoe. No matter if I am in the river for play or for the misfortune of a search I love wearing my Keen’s.

Highly recommended - Fits like a shoe... doesn't flop around like other sandals I've tried (Chaco). Very comfortable, but not quite as cool as other sandals as more of your foot is covered.

A bit warm for a sandal - The Keens are very comfortable in terms of cushioning and fit, but definitely warm in the hot weather we've been having. My feet do not get as much air exchange as with other sandals I've worn. They also take a bit longer to put on - no quick slip into these. I do like them, though, and wear them all the time in the summer.

Comfort - I wore your product for 6 days on a daily basis, averaging 10 hours per day, through water, sand and hard concrete (I went to Disney World in Orlando, Fl.) I got a blister on each middle toe of each foot. They look a little too wide from the front and too narrow from the back. I was not 100% comfortable. The heel was a little too hard.

Fun Duck Feet Sandal - Neat little offering from Keen with their signature stylish "duck feet" look. Quite comfortable for a sandal. Nice roomy toebox, molded anatomically so your toes "grip" nicely. I'd recommend it for this category.

Function before fashion - The Keen Newport H2 will not be seen on any high fashion runways anytime soon but then again it wasn’t created for that purpose. It is, however, a very functional sport sandal that can be worn all day with little or no foot fatigue. It’s well ventilated but still provides great support and comfort. Definitely a keeper for my shorts and t-shirt days.
